Ninetales (M) @ Leftovers
Drought
252 HP / 84 SDef / 168 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
- Energy Ball

Required for any Sun Team. I decided to use a defensive set since this team is pretty offensive and I'd need him to stay alive as long as possible so that my other members can have the Sun benefit longer. I chose Energy Ball over Hidden Power [Fighting] because, frankly, I almost never used that move. Substituting when Tyranitar switches in and Will-O-Wisping him the next turn can prevent him from killing Ninetales with Pursuit. I'm Surprised by how well Substitute works on this set, but I'm glad it does.

Venusaur (M) @ Life Orb
Chlorophyll
252 HP / 156 SAtk / 100 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

- Sleep Powder
- Growth
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]

My first Sun Sweeper, the special one. Energy Ball and Hidden Power [Fire] grant incredible coverage. The standard set. The good thing about my two sweepers is that I can let one take out threats early while the other one sweeps late game. I've considered Giga Drain over Energy Ball.

Sawsbuck (M) @ Life Orb
Chlorophyll
136 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 116 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Swords Dance
- Horn Leech
- Return
- Nature Power

The second Sun Sweeper. Nature Power turning into Earthquake is so ridiculous, but awesome for him. His STAB attacks do ridiculous amounts of damage. Horn Leech gives him great survivability.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Torrent
240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)

- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Roar

The perfect defensive pokemon to cover Ninetales. He can handle anything that would give Nintales a hard time, a lot of times hitting them super effectively with Earthquake and Ice Beam. I often use him as a lead instead of Ninetales if I'm against another weather team. He handles Politoed and Tyranitar very well (unless they have a grass move... Then he's screwed.) Roar is probably the shining glory of this set though. Since my team is very offense based, I can't be letting someone else's sweeper get set up. This set has worked wonders.

Weavile (M) @ Choice Band
Pressure
40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Ice Punch
- Ice Shard
- Brick Break
- Night Slash

Revenge killer... I had Garchomp in this spot, but Cresselia was giving me lots of problems so I decided that Weavile would be a good idea. He's done okay. Perhaps he just needs better support to back him up. I've used him on other teams and he's worked wonderfully. I'm open to suggestions here, though.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt

My rapid spinner. Handles Ninetales' terribly crippling Stealth Rock and status weakness. I tried the basic Timid, Spa/Spe EV spread, but that did terribly. This set works much better, but Starmie is a bit of a problem. It's like I need Starmie, but at the same time, Starmie doesn't do too much. Starmie is an important check to Fighting types and bulky waters early on in the match; but past that, Starmie doesn't do a lot. Open to suggestions here.

Hey there, good sun team actually, there doesn't seem too much to change.

Your Tales could probably use something else over EB, wince whilst you never used HP Fight, do you ever do anything significant with EB? There are a lot of options, Disable works nicely with Sub and Burn damage, Toxic/Hypnosis lets you have a second status to abuse, Power Swap (with Overheat) lets you cripple SpAtkers and beat Volcarona one on one, Roar lets you blast out anything trying to set up, and Safeguard allows you to prevent statuses for 5 turns, most of which are more useful than the occasional minor damage from EB.

I'm unsure why you say your Venu is standard, the EV spread is anything but! I'd try out max SpA and at least 220Spe to beat ScarfChomp for sure, sinc it vastly helps your sweeping potential. The other thing to do to assist this is put Sludge Bomb over Sleep Powder - why bother sleeping something when literally only Tran and 70%+ health Chandelure wall you at +2? Deal with them with your team and you're good to go. Finally, absolutely positively use Giga Drain>Energy Ball, it's minor power drop is nothing compared to the vast survivability Giga Drain affords you, letting you beat Blissey 1 on 1 by using her colossal health to heal you as you boost up higher (beware of Ditto).

Sawsbuck looks alright, I typically advise around 184Spe to beat ScarfStarmie who could give you a hard time, but at least beating Scarf 110s is alright too. Nature Power has worse coverage than Jump Kick, but if you really need to hit CHandelure than keep it. As a note, with SR Double-Edge OHKOs Latios whereas Return falls short, so you could consider that over it.

I really like your Starmie set, but I'd think about maxxing SpA over SpD to allow you to help take care of some bulkier waters a little easier, though its up to you. Pert looks okay too.

Weavile I'm unsure about, mostly because of how damn frail he is, so if you want to keep a nice Ice Shard but have a ton more bulk, use Mamoswine. You should be able to use Thick Fat, giving you a great Ice resist and making you no longer Fire weak, but you can also use your Ice STAB to help deal with Cresselia (Icicle Spear should do nicely). If you still have issues you could alter Sawsbuck to Shiftry, whose Dark STABs should mean you have no issue with her.

Some suggestions:
@Ninetales: All of the options Benlisted listed above are good choices over Energy Ball, which doesn't really do anything off Ninetales' weak Special Attack. Confuse Ray is something else you can try in addition to those, letting you double status opposing TTar which can really help win the weather war.
@Venusaur: Giga Drain is far superior to Energy Ball, letting you heal off LO damage and survive for a lot longer. You could try Sludge Bomb over Sleep Powder, or even Return/EQ if you would like to be able to dent specially defensive Pokemon and easily kill off Chandelure/Heatran. @Sawsbuck: Looks fine to me. May want to ramp up to ~188 Spe, the standard.
@Swampert: Be careful, because offensive Politoed can 2HKO Pert in rain with Hydro Pump/Surf, so it's not as reliable against Toed as you might think. It'll do just fine against TTar, however, and if you're finding that it works, keep it.
@Weavile: There is always, always a better choice than Weavile. Its moves all have disappointing base power and it's incredibly frail. Cresselia is uncommon anyway, so Mamoswine is a much more solid choice if you need the Ice Shard, and gives you a nice second check to Tyranitar.
@Starmie: In my opinion, it always works better as an offensive spinner, so I also recommend max SpA.One other note - Donphan can check most Tyranitar, set Stealth Rock, and use both Ice Shard and Roar, which sort of encompasses three of your Pokemon in one - if you find that you want to add something else to your team, you should consider using Donphan in place of any Starmie + either Swampert or Weavile.

If you want a Grass-type coverage move over Energy Ball, Solarbeam works great with more power and no need for charging due to the sun.

SolarBeam is a bad choice on any pokemon with an alternative Grass move, as you essentially just gimp yourself against things like Gliscor and Politoed who you'd very much like to be able to kill outside of your own weather.
