Why isn't Low Kick on more Rest/Sleep Talk Guts Machamps? Damage Calculations inside!

But one of the main problems with Low Kick, compared to Cross Chop, is that Cross Chop always deals a high 100 base power, whilst Low Kick can may be a pitiful 80 or 60. And your Fighting move would be the main move of choice to use, and you would always want it to be powerful when you use it. As mentioned earlier, Low Kick doesn't even OHKO Blissey.
The problem with Cross Chop, however, is that it doesn't always deal a high 100 base power STAB attack, because it does not have 100% accuracy on a Guts Machamp. One could argue that it is better to deal a smaller amount of damage than risk not dealing any damage at all.

The thing about RestTalk Machamp is that it isn't suicune. It can't stay in and avoid 3hkos while continually resting. It just isn't super bulky. If it were capable of staying in turn after turn while continuously rest off damage low kick might make sense. Machamp is going to be switching in to absorb sleep or take a light or resisted hit launching one attack (sleep talking or not) and probably switching back out when something that can kill it faster than it can recover comes in. Maybe you like to leave him in for turn after turn but you probably lose your champ unnecessarily pretty often. The point being that Close Combat's side effect will rarely matter and that guaranteed power will definitely help.
