Social wise the vibe I've gotten off of the hood interactions are extremely sus. The apparent perception that Tommy wanted to keep the hood under wraps + Flandrs calling Psy a moron and leaving very much felt like scum performative to me, if I was town in either of their shoes I would 100% understand and expect Psy to do what they did. Also the fallout in thread since then is sus to me, often when a scum ends up in a 1v1 early the rest of the scum tries to downplay it, and I feel like thread has been largely ignoring this or calling it tvt, if it were actually tvt it would be much more distracting to town because all the scum would come in and talk about it lol. I guess this is kind of WIFOM but for D2 I think this is the best lead we're gonna get and I feel like the odds of it being tvt are at most 50%, which is much better than random or PoE is going to get us.

flandrs just talks like that, but yeah its like if we flipped 1 of them we could flip them all, but id say its risky to do that this early in the game. hydro coming out to save tommy has a possibility of working but idt its worth it

in case youre still here, could you plant a vote on anyone you think is scum regardless of if theres a wagon? we dont need to worry about hammer and i really feel like theres a lack of voting info and patterns to look at this game so i wanna encourage that
 
like it basically doesnt make sense but wow would it be funny

and i agree w psy that like theres no way theres two scumbuds in there unless its exactly psy and flandrs which is like i guess possible but i dont have a reason to believe this
 
Also re:flavor, mine seems reasonable enough, Tom Nook seems pretty flavorful actually, I'm not going to be able to make sense of the Kierkegaard one and I'm not even gonna try. I normally trust flavor 0% but in a role madness game where the roles are designed to match a player-selected flavor I do think it's worth considering at least a little.

yeah i agree usually i tell people to shut up about flavour but i think you have to think about flavour this game

This comment feels stinky to me because scum definitely came in and talked about this to the point of making it overshadow literally every other narrative. Joking about this not actually happening is tone-deaf at best and subtly providing cover for the Tommy and/or Psy bandwagoners at worst.

I would highly discourage attempting to angleshoot the game design. Some roles may not make that much sense for the faction they're on, or they may make perfect sense. Factions may not be perfectly balanced, or they may be. Some roles are longer and higher effort than others, I wouldn't try to read into that. Roles were not designed with the player who signed up with that role in mind, because frankly I wouldn't have even had time to try to do that.

i assume youre talking about this section? i agree that we shouldnt do the things he says not to do but i think article flavour is at least somewhat fair game

???? I've been active in thread for like an hour and a half now and frankly I've been posting every chance I've had all day. Like this seems to be implying my convo with DBD is scum theater, but also then ignoring that convo completely to complain that I'm talking about the hood thing. But I was talking about PoE, lynch math, and bluedoom until I was asked to share my reads! Obviously my Tommy/Psy reads are going to be based on The Thing Tommy And Psy Did.

I'm not joking about it, last I checked there are like two votes combined on the two of them, people actively unvoting them whereas bluedoom has a bunch of votes, and most conversation is going on about other stuff? If you think this is a distraction then idk what to tell you, at least say what else we should be looking at -- afaict you've just been making smalltalk, and now conveniently when some heat comes onto your hood/association with Tommy you're like "hey guys I think the guy pushing my buddy is scum"

I feel like you're just pushing this narrative that I've been gone and and not keeping up with the thread because I was asleep for 8 hours. Sorry I have a job and can't be posting literally 24/7. I have done literally nothing with my free time today other than play Smogon Mafia. idk if you're scum and using this to shade me or just a townie being really oblivious but it is genuinely tilting me rn >_>
