This is interesting and I will dwell on it. It is a little hard to take seriously when someone is calling attention to it mid game though, like presumably scum DBD could link this to argue that they're a designated mislynch. But I actually see the logic here, and as someone who may well be the designated mislynch today, I will be keeping it in mind.
Something in this article which I think definitely holds true is "if a consensus townie survives late in a powerwolf game it's because the scum like what they're doing." I think the closest thing we have to consensus town outside of Saber is the hood friends, which I guess is another angle to arrive at the "hood is in the pocket" theory.
I'm open to fullclaim btw. My only concern is that we have a claimed Rolecop who seems likely to be scum, and this is really giving scum an opportunity to 1v1 someone if so. But if des is scum there is every opportunity that she just loses the 1v1, lol, and if she's town we at least catch scum today or tomorrow.

phoopes - Anyone else think phoopes's solving has been mostly in line with thread consensus? I, for one, think that he's gone under the radar for too long at this point. This readlist (as well as this one) also seem oddly in-tune with the threadstate at the time - I'm not saying phoopes is scum solely for pushing genisu, to be clear, but the readlist mentioned seems perfectly designed to slip the net of controversy. Posts like this one trying to unlink des and genisu as well as stuff like this makes me wary of a potential pairing with a scum des. I'd encourage us to look over this slot as well.

I've ping-ponged on this slot for a while, but after what happened with Peum on D2 as well as his actions on D3 that led to genisu's wagon and death make me think he's the powerwolf of the team. Note posts like so trying to unlink des from genisu, as well as this attempt to soften his stance on genisu before the town flip with him still solidly on the wagon. I'd argue that Tommy is probably the one calling the shots as well - stuff like this feels like shotgun-shelling potential vote targets to see how town responds to it.

psy - I honestly don't know what goes on re: psy's solving, at times they feel incredibly on-point before the doomerism begins. i'm leaning town on this for now, but will have to go through a full re-read. their read on tommy has been consensus, though, so perhaps will have to reassign

Flandrs - I have not seen a single ounce of progression since D3 when they accused peum of being mafia based solely on mech, and besides that they have been sticking with thread consensus on slots like tommy. feels like we might want to give him a second look considering his coasting
Bliz - I was leaning towards sticking Bliz in people solving outside of the generally accepted consensus, but upon re-reading their ISO I saw surprisingly little progression on slots like mine and Tommy which, coincidentally, seemingly make up a bulk of their reads thus far. Their interactions with des on D3 make me suspicious of a pairing, but I'll hold judgement until des flips

I actually agree with a lot of the reads here, especially the identification of Phoopes as flying under the radar constantly and the identification of people in the realize/solve/coast buckets. And tbh I do feel like I could have put in more work to solving on D4. I have been very busy for the past week and esp towards the end I was like "okay I guess no matter which way this goes we're gonna ignore my scumreads and lynch someone I'm convinced is town" which was not very encouraging. Anyway I have tomorrow off and I'm going to try my best to clear my head and identify something new.
Fwiw, my guess is that Saber hasn't been NK'd because he's playing pretty passively. Certainly the IC being alive at this point should raise eyebrows about their reads, but I think if I were scum I would be like "okay well this slot won't have any scary night actions and we can probably goad them into some kinda mislynch." Also a decent chance of them getting protected. This is why I basically ignored this them when thinking about who the "consensus town who've survived" are.

I actually had planned to invite him I thought we had 24 hours but you can believe me or not, either way I didn’t town lead anyone onto that I didn’t call for more votes, all I did was use me own and everyone outside me made their own choice
Day 3 I was forced to vote liquid who I was townreading all game, and defended and asked people NOT to vote, I had to vote him because I was saving an innocenr child
And the day before this the only time I was actually leading thread, we voted mafia

Blizihguh If you’re wondering why I’ve slowed down since mid-D3 it was initially due to IRL stuff until EoD3 and then the last two flips kinda proved that I can’t catch scum for shit in this PL just based on reads and posting, so any future movement will either be mech-based or vibes-based, both of which often involve blithely agreeing with someone else in thread if the topic is already being discussed.
I also like DBD’s wallpost as one of the people buying into the hostspew town stuff, and would be open to any of those votes today (including myself). The fact that most of my scumreads have been incorrect and phoopes also flying under my radar all game means there’s definitely more exploration to do there, much like with AF and Tommy.

It’s bad because as mafia your main goal is to kill the strong town roles that can carry in role madness, hence why peum instant died last night after claiming
You might compromise on killing a mediocre role but I’ve said mine is consumed multiple times
You’re correct that I may have more stuff going on that I didn’t claim, but at that point I can only guess what mafia believe, it’s also possible my reads are horrible and they want to keep me alive for that reason, but on the balance of probability I am clearly a neighbouriser which is a significant part of my role so why not shoot at someone who still has some useful mechanic to lend to town outside that
I don't understand why this was addressed to me and not DBD or just, like, the town in general. Also I'm not going to criticize anyone for having a life, but I really don't buy the rest of that. Like what I'm hearing is just sour grapes, "I suck at reads and I can't come up with mechanics or vibes before someone else says them," but that is definitely not true. And even if it was, it's no reason not to try.
