3. Yes celever told me if someone targets the other player it fails or if there is an ability.

This is the key to her claim making sense - the info-giver role fails if someone else visited her target. (supposedly)

I understand casting - not really asking about that one, unless it's relevant for some reason you haven't said. I am just asking about "Cop" (the action that gives information to someone)

Would it be correct to say that this is what you did?

N1: Used "Cop" on Pulsar, it failed
N2: Used "Cop" on Dead by Daylight, it failed
N3: Used "Cop" on Flandrs, it failed
N4: Did not use "Cop"
N5: Used "Cop" on Flandrs, it failed

N1 I didn't use cop I idled it n3 no cop but the rest is fine

I'm trying to understand your perspective, but the way you've described this role it doesn't sound like there is any reason for a Town player to not use this role every night.

I'm bad at the -ylo definition but if there is a mislynch it's 5-4 going into the night and 4-4 going into tomorrow right? So essentially a maf win in a mislynch, but could be disrupted by roles?

You might've already said this but can you share who you used it on on which nights? And who you saw visit on the night that you saw something?

Ok so first of all I did not visit realiti the night he died, I got results regarding him yes but not because of me visiting him.

My role has 2 main parts, and some other bullshit but mafia doesn't need to know that.
My active is basically gravedigger I think it's called (whatever the role you got in the OC ShyPebble), basically when someone dies I pick up one or none of their active (chosen by Celever) and then I can reuse it once any night I want

The second really fun thing about my role is that I cannot choose my targets, I need to choose a number and only Celever knows what number = what target. When someone dies, Celever gives me the message [SOMEONE] died. They were the number [INSERT NUMBER HERE]. You can use [INSERT ACTIVE HERE] (or you can't use any of their abilities).

(funny thing is so far I picked up like 4 fucking watcher abilities)

N1 : Used thechickening active 1 on Phoopes (number 1). Learned that he got visited by realiti and Pebble
N2 : Targeted Hydro with Evie's active 1. Did that so I could prove my role at some point if needed (Hydro litteraly recieved the message "Evie visited you tonight" while Evie was dead I thought that was so funny lmao)
N3 : Targeted Genisu with liquidrelief active 1 (which was thechickening active 1). No one visited him
N4 : Targeted someone (idk who yet) with genisu active 1 (which is basically thechickening active 1 again). No one visited him

If you're confused by my role, dw me too. I haven't spilled everything because obviously I don't want mafia to have all the info of the actives I have in stock and shit, but I also got another passive that shouldn't affect town at all and should only affect maf badly

Okay. But if you've described this again fully, you need to use it every night for the rest of the game. It won't be useful for anyone to suggest a target to you in thread since mafia could easily counter the action if they know who you are targeting, but you should do your best to think who is the least likely to be targeted by other night actions of the people you townread. If it fails it is no problem, but if it succeeds we get additional information.

I think it's kind of alarming that we have literally 0 info role results... am I missing a claim somewhere?

i suspect a lot of the info roles if they exist require unlock conditions (e.g. dbd's claim was that he doesnt do shit till saber dies so maybe hes tracker after that) or are delayed like mine (and stuff just didnt line up)

just like how celever's designed this game from what we've seen from flips i dont think theres just like any unrestricted info roles. or at least none that are useful

like genisu's role was an info role but it had a lot of clauses around it and weirdness and wasnt just like here youre a tracker

I have no idea what to think on des overall. I had a "we're so back" moment when she revealed that her "cop" role fails when someone else visits her target. But then when she revealed that she idled it 3 times it switched back to "it's so over".

I don't think this is a coached claim, I will say that. If someone else had come up with the claim they would've just said it failed on random people for most of the nights.
