Soundtrack

The once verdant Seabreak Path now looks like a shade of its former self. Where flowers bloomed in a myriad colours, now you can only see withered plants, the lifeless shells that have been left behind by the miasma seeping all over the land. In the distance, you can hear the cry of a lone Mandibuzz, looking for any carcass lying around in the wasteland.

Unfortunately, it seems like the corruption has not spared the Flower Paradise itself, either. The Gracidea fields have been turned to dust, and any sign of life has long since disappeared from this land. However, mindful of your mission, you steel yourselves and proceed through the wasteland, heading deeper in the island where the dial lies.

Surprisingly, the dial still stands. A small patch of uncorrupted life surrounds it, as if the ancient building alone could keep off the corrupting miasma. As you approach it, however, a feminine laugh echoes in the air, sending chills down your spine.

"Foolish mortals. You and your kind are so predictable"

As you turn your eyes above, a dreadful shape materializes in the air.

"Look around yourself", she adds, with an ample gesture of her arm. "This is a picture of your future. This is the prelude of the Twilight".
You call forth your Pokemon allies in self-defense, but their attacks are easily blocked by the shadowy lady.
"I could extinguish your life in the space of an eyeblink if I wanted", she noted, with a gelid tone in her voice. Then, with a malevolent smile, she continues, "But where would be the enjoyment in it? Let me introduce you to a new acquaintance of mine..."
The ground beneath you starts shaking menacingly, while the tainted vines entwine into a large grove. As the grove opens wide, you find yourselves staring before who once was charged with the protection of this land... or rather, a shade of what he once was. Shaymin's foliage grew black and grey, and now its once jolly eyes burn with hatred and pain.

The evil creature of shadows disappears in the meanwhile, fading with the same rapidity with which she showed up, leaving you with the not-so-easy task of facing the twisted warden of Flower Paradise!

At uni on a tablet so have not done calcs yet but I am thinking go all out with maybe Light Screen support on Cawmodore and two others. Bloodlust + Intimidate + Pluck = Cawmodore should easily take threat.
 
Bloodlust makes Light Screen kinda undesirable now IMO. It will block at most 4hp of damage this round and on the next rounds we are bound to see Shaymin hitting harder thanks to the thing whose name I forgot. Since that thinge will kick in only on Round 3 (after bloodlust is gone) I feel it would be more efficient if screens and all that shit are set up R3 (as a single Fire Blast will have more added bloodlust damage than the damage light screen would block in 2 rounds I think). Hopefully the rolls on the targets of the curse thinge won't make me eat up my words later -_-.

All amounts to like...650hp of damage at least. Which is...not that good given that it means that the shield of doom should fall only by R4 (if we keep a very offensive pace). But hey, at least only one Trevenant if all goes well.

Also something I just noticed: unless gengar (or caw, but that is unlikely) tanks the mooks, we are looking at a bunch of mons pretty much screaming "Rock Slide me!". So we will need to pump out calcs next round if we don't want to become engifox2.0 -_-.
 
Round 1

After mega evolving, Wraith sends his team mates in a berserker rage, causing them to inflict massive damage on the opponent. Shaymin's shield does not yet falter despite the pressure, but luckily the Cawmodore does a fine job withstanding its blows. Things are far from comfortable, though, as several vengeful ghosts emerge from the tainted landscape, while Garo Master is suddenly infected with a virulent disease...

Round 2

Garo Master sweeps one of the shadows while Keaton dispels him, causing the plague to jump onto the Phantump, who's quickly consumed by it. Fortunately for the team, the disease then infects another nearby Phantump and annihilates it, too. The horde of Phantump still manages to cause significant damage in return, but this doesn't prevent it from being vanquished. However, a much more threatening spectre emerges from the corrupted mist!

What's worse, another swarm of ghosts emerges from the scourged meadow, while Kringles and Glowfire find themselves infected with the dreaded plague...

Simple enough round. Ninetales dispels the Chandelure to make its plague go away, Greninja and Mollux use Blizzard and Eruption respectively on the Phantump to KO all three with Chandelure's help, and then we rip the shield up and get ready for whatever comes phase two which will begin with a fair chunk of healing methinks... but enough to make sure Vexating Aroma does not blindside us. If you really want to, you could start early with healing with a heal on Cawmodore something but yeah.

EDIT: Apparently Ninetales DOES NOT learn Light Screen, so I fixed R3 so that Ninetales would Struggle instead. On the bright side, apparently I didn't factor it in Shaymin's attack rolls (I didn't even write Light Screen in the end-status!), so nothing else changes. I was told by IAR I could proceed with the ref regardless. Cheers.

Round 4

This time the team does not rely on the virulent plague and dispatches the Phantump in the old fashioned way, while cleansing its members of the dangerous disease. With the Ghost-types out of the way, then, the squad is free to give everything against Shaymin until its shield breaks. However, feeling cornered, the little hedgehog glows in a white burst of light and undergoes a surprising transformation!

Round 5

The raid members take some time to heal each other. While this takes a significant toll on their forces, eating their equipped berries allows them to keep going. However, unlike his allies, the Cawmodore is taking quite a beating, with Shaymin's aroma weakening him quickly. Moreover, Caffie suddenly gets caught in a cloud of spores, losing a lot of strength in the process. But what's worse, Shaymin's perfume seems to have mesmerized Keaton, causing the Ninetales to turn on his own allies!

Round 6

Caffie and Keaton eventually manage to get rid of the aroma effects, but Shaymin inhales the lingering aroma to enhance its power! Nevertheless, the team continues attacking (except for the Cawmodore, who's repeteadly stunned by Shaymin's ethereal slashes), but suddenly Wraith is assaulted with a cloud of devastating toxins...

Garo Master finds himself suddenly caught in a fragrant cloud which enfeebles him. Luckily, a timely heal from Keaton allows the Cawmodore to stick around for longer, but the Shaymin still looks far from defeated... and to make things worse, Kringles suddenly goes mad and turns against his team mates!

Okay, the brainwave is that Greninja uses Mat Block A1. It will have the old effect so no need to worry about Energy. zarator will probably hotfix it soon afterwards but at least a paralysis will be averted for now. I think. Also that Cawmodore takes no damage from Skymin. Until zarator decided to hotfix it. Other than that, ummm... Yeam we just need to somehow keep up 400 damage a round. Chandelure can heal full time for now unless you have a better idea due to 11 EN Shadow Mends that restore EN. At least Delibird might be good on EN to the finish after this episode. One can only hope Syclant goes insane soon...

But the output of this is horrible at best. 324-350.

Also also: pluck + drill peck uses 8 energy. While that is a good thing, by the time Pumpkin berry activates, the EN limit will be 40 and the pumpkin berry will be pretty much wasted (will heal like 7en). So I would suggest pumping out bigger guns? My math may be wrong here, but I think Sky Attack probably deserves consideration.
