Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy / Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 108 Def / 148 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Foul Play
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Protect / Giga Drain
Wo-Chien finds itself a niche in Battle Stadium Singles as an Arceus check that isn't terrified of its partner Calyrex-S. Foul Play uses Arceus's massive Attack against it, while also threatening Calyrex-S before it terastallizes. Thanks to the passive damage and recovery from Leech Seed, especially when paired with Leftovers, Wo-Chien excels at dismantling bulky cores. Foes like Ting-Lu and Dondozo will be put on a fast-ticking timer while Wo-Chien siphons massive amounts of HP for itself. Wo-Chien can augment this pressure with Giga Drain over Protect, which grants it even more recovery and the ability to more directly damage these targets. The Special Defense investment allows it to survive a Draco Meteor from Choice Specs Miraidon. Tera Fairy allows Wo-Chien to handle some otherwise-problematic matchups, such as Scale Shot Koraidon and Chien-Pao, while Tera Fire is excellent against Ho-Oh. This Wo-Chien fits best on bulkier teams that employ a fast attacker to clean weakened teams. To that end, it appreciates help from other bulky staples such as Ting-Lu and Garganacl, which can assist it in weakening the opponent for something like Koraidon or Calyrex-S.
