Intro
Hey Smogon, I'm back with my second RMT, and I think this team is much better than my previous one. It uses the Wobbaffet - Lucario combo which works wonders, only problem is this is Dream World so Shandera could cause some problems for Lucario. It does have some support for taking out Shandera, which is a huge threat if it's scarfed. Overall, I find that this team has been working much than the previous one and I'm very pleased with the success.
To start off, like I said, I'll be using the Wobbaffet - Lucario combo. Once Wobbaffet takes out most of Lucario's threats, Lucario can come in and start to sweep.
Now I needed some support, a revenge killer for when Wobbaffet went down. Genosekuto is one of the best revenge killers out there, the only downside is he's the reason I play in Dream World.
Now I needed Stealth Rocks, along with some bulk that helps a lot in the long run. Swampert works well, since it does have a decent amount of bulk and the ability to get Stealth Rocks up, along with being able to pHaze the opponent with Roar.
At this point, I wasn't sure what to put in, so I put it into a type chart and saw that I had no Water resist, so I put in a Cloyster. It has a 4x Resist to Water attacks and has access to Shell Smash, which makes Cloyster a secondary sweeper, with some extra Physical bulk.
After looking through the team, I wasn't sure what to put in next. I noticed I had a pretty big Gyarados weakness once Genosekuto was gone, so I wanted something fast to be able to hit Gyarados hard and OHKO. Aakeosu has great stats, so it would be able to OHKO Gyarados with a Stone Edge every time.
After some more testing and a couple of rates, I decided to replace Swampert and Aakeosu with Heatran and Breloom, respectively.

In-Depth

Genosekuto @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Download
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- U-turn
- Flamethrower
Role: Attacking lead and Revenge Killer
Moves: The Bolt-Beam combo covers just about everything. Thunderbolt for Flying types and Water types, and Ice Beam for pretty much everything else. With this much Special Attack, I have yet to find anything (bar Urugamosu) that won't get 2HKO'd by this. Flamethrower is for Nattorei and other Steel types, which wall Genosekuto pretty well, and U-Turn is used when I get an Attack raise from Download rather than Special Attack. At that point, the Attack is higher than the Special Attack so U-Turn hits a lot harder.
Item/Nature: The Choice Scarf is what makes Genosekuto such a great Attacking lead and Revenge Killer. It outspeeds almost everything, and hits pretty much everything too. The Nature is so Genosekuto can still get the Special Attack that it wants, while keeping enough power for U-Turn to do a decent amount of damage.

Heatran (M) @ Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Electric]
Role: Set up Stealth Rocks and powerful Fire type
Moves: Stealth Rock should be on most teams, and this was the best place that it fit. Earth Power is for other Heatrans or Fire types that come in on Heatran, Flamethrower is a great Fire attack. I would use Fire Blast, but I hate to risk miss hax, and Flamethrower is powerful enough with Heatran as it is, so it works pretty well. Hidden Power [Electric] is for Gyarados that would come in and try to set up, if they do, they get hit hard with Hidden Power [Electric]. If they don't set up, Genosekuto can come in and revenge.
Item/Nature: The Item gets rid of Heatran's 4x Ground weakness, which helps a lot, since it usually has to get hit by a non-Super Effective move first. The Nature allows Heatran to get up Stealth Rocks quickly, and outrun other Heatran.

Wobbuffet (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shadow Tag
EVs: 28 HP / 252 Def / 228 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Encore
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
- Safeguard
Role: Lucario support and trapper
Moves: These moves work great for Wobbuffet, Encore to make sure the opponent stays on an Attacking move, Counter to hit Physical Attacks hard, and most likely OHKO thanks to Wobbuffet's great HP. Mirror Coat is for Special Attackers, which will also most likely OHKO thanks to a huge HP Base Stat. Finally, Safeguard is to make sure Wobbuffet doesn't get status-ed which could be a problem since Wobbuffet has to be able to take a lot of hits to be effective.
Item/Nature: The Item is to regain health that Wobbuffet lost while countering the opponent, and the Nature is to ensure as much Special Defense as possible to allow Wobbuffet to survive more hits.
Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- ExtremeSpeed
- Crunch
Role: Physical Sweeper
Moves: This moveset is meant for spamming priority attacks. After +2 from a Swords Dance, which Lucario almost always gets when it comes in at the right time, Lucario can wreck havoc with ExtremeSpeed and Bullet Punch. Close Combat is for the slower pokemon with resistances to ExtremeSpeed (i.e. Steel types). But this is where Shandera can be a problem. Close Combat and ExtremeSpeed are useless against Shandera, but this is why Bullet Punch was changed to Crunch, to counter Ghost types and Psychics. After taking out Ghost types, Lucario can sweep pretty easily.
Item/Nature: The Item and Nature give Lucario max power. Since the moveset is mostly priority moves, Lucario needs as much power as possible to get OHKO's and survive to continue sweeping.
Breloom (M) @ Shed Shell
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Drain Punch
Role: Grass type and Doryuuzu counter.
Moves: Swords Dance helps Mach Punch get so many more OHKO's than it normally would. Mach Punch and Technician works great, it OHKO's Doryuuzu and just about anything that doesn't resist it. Bullet Seed takes out Bulky Waters pretty easily, which could do a pretty good job of stalling me out. Drain Punch is for slower types that Mach Punch wouldn't OHKO, and it helps Breloom restore some HP.
Item/Nature: The Item is to make sure Shandera doesn't trap Breloom, which would immediately kill it since all of its moves are pretty much useless. The Nature is to help Mach Punch get more power for more OHKO's.
Cloyster (M) @ Chople Berry
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Shell Blade
Role: Water resist and secondary physical set-up sweeper
Moves: Shell Smash Cloyster works wonders. After 1 turn of setting up, Cloyster can begin to take everything out 1 by 1, with Icicle Spear (which even OHKOs a Skarmory), Rock Blast, and Shell Blade. Skill Link makes Icicle Spear and Rock Blast have 5x the power they normally would, plus a Shell Smash which gives +2 attack and that's almost GG. Rock Blast is for other Cloyster, like if we both set up at the same time or something, and Shell Blade is a powerful Water attack which this team lacked before Cloyster was added in.
Item/Nature: The Item is what it is for 1 reason: Mach Punch. After a Shell Smash, Cloyster gets destroyed by Mach Punch, especially coming from Roobushin. Plus, I can't have Cloyser losing too much HP with a Life Orb since it would probably take it hit while setting up. The Nature makes sure Cloyster can get the OHKO, which comes through in the end when a Jolly nature doesn't do enough by the smallest amount.
Kingdra - In the rain, Kingdra rips this team apart. My only hope is for Cloyster to come in and somehow take it out with Icicle Spear, which wouldn't happen normally unless Kingdra has taken some damage from Life Orb previously.
Urugamosu - This thing is such a pain. I have nothing that can do anything, except for maybe Lucario with ExtremeSpeed after Stealth Rock damage, and that's assuming I even have Stealth Rocks up. If I don't, I'm swept.
Moves: These moves work great for Wobbuffet, Encore to make sure the opponent stays on an Attacking move, Counter to hit Physical Attacks hard, and most likely OHKO thanks to Wobbuffet's great HP. Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- ExtremeSpeed
- Crunch

Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd

Cloyster (M) @ Chople Berry
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
