Hey everyone. This is my first Uber team and since its my first try at this tier, I'm not that good and I need some help. This team is peaking at 1220 (which isn't high at all) right now, and since the Uber tier is quite difficult, I don't know how I can change my team. Thanks for reading!

My team at a glance:

As you see, my team revolves around Wobbuffet as a check to many counters. I've got some dragon sweepers, and one thing I like about my team is the fact that I only have one pokemon weak to dragon, the most common type in ubers.

Now the team in-depth:

shaymin_sky.png

Shaymin-s @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Spe/4 Sp. Def
Modest Nature
-Seed Flare
-Hidden Power Ice
-Earth Power
-Air Slash

Shaymin-s starts off by giving me an advantage early on. Air Slash is great for flinching SR leads, and against Deoxys leads, they don't even get Stealth Rock up more than half the time. Most Groudons are OHKOed by Seed Flare and does a lot to Kyogre too. Hidden Power Ice for certian dragons that wall me otherwise and Earth Power for Heatran and Dialga. I usually switch out after I have took out one of my opponents pokemon because this thing can come back in later and revenge kill or even late-game sweep. Shaymin-s gives me a very comfortable start.

wobbuffet.png

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 28 HP/228 Def/252 Sp. Def
Bold Nature
-Mirror Coat
-Counter
-Safeguard
-Encore

Wobbuffet always gets a kill, and is often my go to guy for many strong attackers. Wobbuffet also can Encore and let one of my other sweepers switch in for free, but I am looking for a good set up sweeper to make the most use out of Encore. Safeguard to prevent status, and unless I get a Pursuiter, I'm not using Tickle.

dialga.png

Dialga @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 220 HP/252 Atk/36 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Overheat
-Outrage

ShinyAzelf recommended this to me and its awesome. Physical Dialga is unpredictable and therefore always gets me a free kill on a special wall like Blissey. Overheat is for Forretress and Skarmory who wall this. I love this Dialga though, and its often my most valuable player.

latios.png

Latios @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Speed/252 Sp. Atk
Timid Nature
-Draco Meteor
-Grass Knot
-Thunder
-Recover

Latios is a great sweeper. It reaches 538 Special Attack with Soul Dew and has lots of special defense too. Latios is a durable sweeper, and can hit many pokemon for super effective damage. I'm considering taking out Grass Knot or Thunder. Grass Knot hits both Kyogre and Groudon but I also have Kyogre to abuse the rain. I tried HP Fire for Scizors but doesn't work too well in the rain. Suggestions please!

jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/20 Atk/24 Def/212 Sp. Def
Careful Nature
-U-turn
-Thunder Wave
-Wish
-Stealth Rock

Jirach is my stealth rocker and helps my teammates sweep with Thunder Wave. Wish is to heal my teammates and also Jirachi itself. U-turn to scout. I have found Jirachi to be my last pokemon on my team very often, against some set up sweeper like Rayquaza. I really need to solve this issue. Any suggestions?

kyogre.png

Kyogre @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 116 HP/140 Spe/252 Sp. Atk
Modest Nature
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Thunder
-Sleep Talk

This is my Darkrai counter. Absorb the Dark Void and then spam Sleep Talk. With max special attack this thing hits very hard. I am considering Choice Specs because it hits much harder. Surf is for STAB and hurts alot even when resisted, Thunder and Ice Beam for the BoltBeam combo, hitting everything bar Sheddy for at least neutral damage.

Well this is my team. Hope you liked it, and you are very welcome to give feedback and suggestions! Thank you for reading!

How about making Latios a CM sweeper? You can combine him with Wobbuffet and really tear teams appart. I'd personally leave Thunder, since it's useful for hitting Steels that Dragon Pulse doesn't hit and you can abuse it in the rain. Against Scizor it's just prediction war, kinda 50-50.

Hi UltimateKirbyFan, this team actually isn't that bad, just work on your Ubers Battling and your rating should go up in no time.

Firstly, you are quite weak to SD Rayquaza and Lucario. They can get an SD off on something like a Choice-locked Seed Flare or HP Ice and proceed to sweep your team. This is why I would consider replacing Dialga with CB Garchomp if you still want a Choice Banded Dragon attacker. Yes, I know CB Dialga is cool, but being weak to SD Ray is not. Chomp is more powerful than Dialga too and has better STABs.

Secondly, I don't really see what Wobbuffet is supposed to accomplish on your team. You haven't really got any kind of setup sweeper that could really benefit from it. This is why I would suggest that you replace him with a Pokemon that can take advantage of Kyogre's rain. I'd suggest a Palkia variant. Since you already have Scarf Skymin to dispatch Dragon Dancers, Palkia used as a mixed attacker is probably best for your team.

Palkia @ Lustrous Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SpA/252 Spe
Nature: Hasty
-Draco Meteor/Spacial Rend
-Surf
-Thunder
-Aqua Tail/Outrage

A few smaller changes: What are the EVs on Kyogre accomplishing?? Oh, and wasting a spot just for Darkrai seems a bit situational. If you want a Darkrai check, I'd suggest that you use a Calm Mind + RestTalk Kyogre:

Kyogre @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 240 HP/244 Def/24 Spe
Nature: Modest
-Surf
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Calm Mind

Lastly, Grass Knot isn't getting much extra coverage than Thunder on Latios. I'd suggest changing it to Surf to take advantage of Kyogre's rain and the ability to bone Steels more easily.

Hope I helped, good luck with your team.

A few minor notes:
- Shaymin-S should be Timid or else Darkrai leads will just put you to sleep
- I would consider Iron Head > U-turn on Jirachi since it's still pretty nasty at flinching things to death. Iron Head can also help Jirachi "psuedo-Protect" to heal itself from Wish. This also helps to an extent if Jirachi is your last Pokemon.
- Wobbuffet's role in the team seems a bit out of place when you lack any set up sweepers.

Not a bad team, but Wobbuffet is, to be frank, fairly useless here, and may even hasten your fall against Forretress users who can come in and get 2 free layers if you Encore them. Honestly, any Pokemon works over it, but Shrang's Palkia suggestion looks good, as does his suggestion of making Kyogre a CMer.

Practice your battling skills, learn to analyze team structure and the enemy's goals (eg: they let Kyogre get blasted by Latios just to paralyze me, they must be using a Latios-beaten sweeper like SD Chomp, I better save my Skymin and not send out Jirachi much) and you should make the leaderboard in no time.

I'm not really an expert on Ubers but I'm sure that to utilize Wobbufett better you need some set-up sweepers to take advantage of Encore.

Some examples are:
OU
- SD Scizor
- SD Lucario
- Agility Lucario
- DD Tyranitar
- CM Jirachi

Ubers
- Rock Polish Groudon
- SD Rayquaza
- DD Rayquaza
- DD Salamence
- DD Latios
- CM Kyogre
- Bulk Up Dialga

etc.

Remember I'm not an expert ubers player, I play OU and sometimes UU.

Youre pretty weak to SD luke if they have the right support, maybe turn it into scarf? It would also help with SD ray also. I agree with Shrang, Wobb really isnt doing much. A mix palkia would be much better for you team.

Hello UltimateKirbyFan interesting team you have there. One thing I noticed was that your team has trouble against SD Rayquaza and SD Lucario. LO Rock Polish Groudon can potentially be dangerous and pull off a successful late game sweep if Shaymin isn't in play. This usually sets up on Jirachi while you fear the Earthquake forcing you to switch out. It also survives Kyogres Surf in the Sun and is able to 2hko you possibly ko' if you took Stealth Rock damage.

I would suggest you use mix Scarf Dialga to revenge kill and out speed Rayquaza and Lucario while you resist there priority attack Extreme Speed. This also provides your team instant speed which it currently lacks. From my ubers experience using a Scarfer is necessary for the most part.

Dialga @ Choice Scarf | Pressure
Hasty |4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Draco Meteor / Thunder / Fire Blast / Outrage

As for the life orb Rock Polish Groudon weakness I would suggest you use Skarmory who walls Groudon for most part unless they carry Fire Punch or Overheat which is rare. Skarmory also provides you Spikes allowing Kyogre to sweep easily. Toxic is there to stop pokemon like Wobboffet from excessive use.

Skarmory @ Leftovers | Keen Eye
Impish | 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Spikes / Toxic / Whirlwind / Roost

Good Luck
