Wolfen 3.0

I can't really think of a fitting name =P

I built this team starting from Kingdra, who I'm fascinated about, and have tried as much as possible to keep Empoleon as my special sweeper, as I really like using him.
I don't usually find playing "around" something to be much fun (though I know it to be effective), so I just like my teams to be a group of Pokes who work well together, but without set moves planned, just adapting as it goes.

OK, starting

Dragonite
Quiet @ Life Orb
Inner Focus
252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
~ Draco Meteor
~ Fire Blast
~ ExtremeSpeed
~ Earthquake

I was using an Infernape before this. I came across someone using this and found it a good idea. It worked for a while, but now it's been disappointing me some.
To be honest, I don't really have a reason to be using this. The lead is probably where I need most help.
Also, I've been seeing a sudden return in Aero, Pert and Hippowdon leads, against which this doesn't work well.

Kingdra
Lonely @ Mystic Water
Swift Swim
252 Atk / 240 SpA / 16 Spe
~ Rain Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Hydro Pump
~ Draco Meteor

My star.
This thing blows apart a lot of teams, and often finishes off teams for me. It has great synergy with my Scizor, who attracts a lot of Fire attacks this can easily come in on.
Rain Dance also brings some benefits to my team, namely Empoleon and Scizor.
Mystic Water is my item choice. I find Draco Meteor is usually already powerful enough, and the boost on Waterfall/Hydro Pump does sometimes help.

Scizor
Adamant @ Metal Coat
Technician
252 Atk / 200 HP / 56 Spe
~ Swords Dance
~ Bullet Punch
~ Brick Break
~ Roost

Bulky SD Scizor.
My physical sweeper. With this set Scizor can come in easily, which helps my team a lot, and the additional bulk helps him get off at least one SD, and combined with priority that can make for a lot of sweeps.
I usually find this to be more effective than regular SD because of the bulk, as I'm usually using BP most of the time anyway, and I like the versatility I get over CB.

Zapdos
Bold @ Leftovers
Pressure
248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe
~ Thunderbolt
~ Roost
~ Hidden Power Ice
~ Heat Wave

Physically Defensive Zapdos constitutes my physical tank. I like the coverage this thing has, and how it can save me a lot of times from situations where I don't really have a very appropriate response.
Zapdos is also my answer to Breloom, who I despise, and to some extent Swampert. It may not be a counter, but I can use Zapdos to work my way around it with HP Ice/Roost.
Fighting types gave this team a lot of trouble in the beggining, Zapdos also helped solve that.

Snorlax
Careful @ Leftovers
Thick Fat
168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
~ Curse
~ Body Slam
~ Selfdestruct
~ Crunch
Snorlax is my special wall, and by using Curse it doubles as another physical tank. There isn't much to clarify here, except that Body Slam is chosen Return because Paralysis helps win a lot of duels, and Crunch is my answer to Ghost and Psychic types in general. Other than that, it's pretty much straightforward CurseLax

Empoleon
Modest @ Petaya Berry
Torrent
12 HP / 12 Def / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
~ Agility
~ Substitute
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
Empoleon is my Special sweeper, and man this thing is good. What I like the most is that while this is planned as a late game sweeper, it can come in early game as well. When it does, it yields amazing results, opening up to 4 poke differences sometimes.
Its plethora of resistances also helps with my somewhat vulnerable team.

Some last considerations
- Paralysis reeally screws up with this team. I think getting a Lum Berry in somewhere might be a good idea.
- I really need some help with the lead.
- Entry hazards haven't been bothering this team much

Thanks in advance

From what I see here, your sweepers do not have the right support to sweep. For both Empoleon and Scizor, you will need Stealth Rock, and Empoleon works best with a source of Toxic Spikes. Scizor works best when Rotom-h and Heatran are out of the way, and Empoleon generally fears bulky waters and Scarf Latias. I suggest that you change Snorlax to a Choice Band Tyranitar. This would make it easier for both Empoleon and Scizor to sweep by eliminating Rotom-H and Scarf Latias. It would also set up Sandstorm, to which half of your team would be immune. Choice Scarf Tyranitar also draws out Bulky Waters, which you would be able to wear down before bringing out Scizor or Empoleon. By putting pressure on Bulky Waters and making them have to counter many Pokemon on your team, you make it easier for Scizor and Empoleon to sweep.

This team needs a way to set up Stealth Rock. Stealth Rock is a crucial move to all Bulky Offense teams, and this team lacks it. Swampert should replace Dragonite as your lead so that your team has some way to set it up. Swampert would be able to handle the Metagross and Jirachi leads that would otherwise be problematic for your team while frequently being able to set up Stealth Rock for your team.

The Rain that Kingdra sets up does little for the rest of your team. In fact, sometimes it will even hurt your team by making Heat Wave and Fire Blast weaker. The only benefit for the rest of your team is making Empoleon's Surf stronger, and the Rain will rarely stick around long enough to do that. I suggest you change Kingdra to a New Mixmence. Bulky Waters that can stop both your main sweepers are frequent switch-ins to predicted Fire Blasts or Earthquakes, and Salamence would wear down Bulky Waters. Choiced Heatran, a problem for Scizor, would be forced out and would take more entry hazard damage. New Mixmence would also help against stall teams, which pack counters to both Empoleon and Scizor.

I suggest you use a mixpert lead cuz it fares pretty well against a lot of the common leads Also if u are using the mixpert lead replace ice beam with avalanche because of more power. I reccomend that you use roar as the last slot, so you can reveal your opponents team and deal some damage to them (you should have SR set up before roar shuffling). Pert's only real counter is an exploding lead like azelf or metagross ( although azelf is more of a concern). I suggest that against azelf leads, you set up SR, if u can, and gtfo into something that can absorb the explosion (ie: Empoleon or maybe Snorlax). Hope this helps with your team.
