I see two scenarios here:
1) Jalmont carried out the strategy you mentioned in your posts to redirect attention to Joey/you.
2) Joey didn't care at all about what people would think and killed Alice to get her out of the way, being the most obvious choice. Even using this as an argument to defend himself.

My conclusion here, and I would like to have your opinion and that of everyone who can because we don't know who will be alive tomorrow, is that:
If Jalmont really planned that strategy, he has quite capable partners who, in my opinion, must have helped him plan it. I don't think Jalmont thought of all that alone and even made the decision to do it. I also don't see catfries as someone he could consult about it either...
On the other hand, if it's Joey who didn't care at all about what the town thinks, then I think he might be paired with people who don't have much experience or who are being a bit lazy/absent. Because in theory, he would be burning himself if he goes so directly for Alice.

I mean honestly I don’t even really think flipping Joey is really all that great, the evidence that the mafia is on mars drawing names from a hat is decent and thus we probably need to flip the abundant nulls we have. I think it’s way more likely that mafia has little to no influence than it is they engineered the last vote out
It's possible I'm wrong but if you and joey are town honestly I got nothing man! I can't think of any teams that wouldn't have at least one of you two.

If he flips as mafia and said this, it's really very confusing. I'm going to put my vote on Jalmont to try to cover some kind of play where a vote is denied and we could end in a weird tie.
I'm going to lock it in 10 minutes, I don't think I have much more time to hesitate. But if someone who hasn't locked their vote yet, apart from Jalmont, is willing to lock on Joey, I honestly have more suspicions there and would join with my lock.

It would be better to go ahead and vote joey if you scum read him more, a vote negator would only ever tie the vote in which case it randomizes.

This would be the scenario if I change and lock into Joey, Flanders voting redless is pretty random, What if Joey/Jalmont + Flanders/Catfries changes their vote last minute and we end in a weird tie / manipulation?

If a tie between joey and jalmont happens, it would just RNG between jalmont and joey. It would be better for you if you want joey out to vote joey. If it ties it's 50/50 between your preferred vote and jalmont. If you vote jalmont, jalmont is just gonna be the lynch here.
