NOC Working Title Mafia (Game Thread) [Mafia Wins]

I lean towards voting either jalmont or joey

I think the Alice flip points towards joey being town or WW. I can't foresee mafia shooting Alice and letting it be revealed that dbd, alice, and m2h were town since that makes joey lynch highly likely BUT that is also assuming that I'm obvious town which I guess is not really the case here.
 
nonetheless, jalmont had alice as #5 town behind genisu/lechen/hyhy/m2h so jalmont very well could have pushed alice as a towny kill with PR equity

M2h/Alice - m2h could probably be in the rank above but I do feel they are holding back a little? Maybe some WW equity? That's my paranoid brain speaking mostly. Alice has been posting well too. That's a slot I haven't really thought about too hard tbf.

ECAT - feels consistent with last NOC but admittedly I haven't tried reading too hard.

des - see thoughts above. flailing town if anything. I am naturally suspicious of people who push slots like this because it's pretty easy to do so with little pushback.

neutral - redless/joey: I find joey very hard to read and I seem to be predisposed to town reading him so I have to keep that bias in check. Redless is just null based on not really posting. Few posts have been ok for me and I'd like to hear more (and I assume will hear more in future phases).

catfries/pulsar - catfries I've talked about, pulsar admittedly I haven't read too hard and I hate to say this because I think it's bad to penalize efforting too much but that's honestly what it feels like. I find that scum pulsar tends to feel more towny and more engaged in the game whereas town pulsar has these activity bursts and then disappears. The former feels more like the case, but again, I can't commit to a vote because I don't think that's fair to pulsar.

flanders/dbd/saber - flanders has been too normal for me lol. if he's town reading me and generally being more friendly and reconciliatory, I find that outside his town game which is more dgaf. Unfortunately I'm not sure there's enough there to really let me vote. Saber hasn't really offered much, but again that might be more town saber I just don't remember mafia saber very well. DBD has been weird this entire game and for sure there's a bit of OMGUS there. I dunno, I guess I have to think about is this the sort of playerlist that tries to misvote me? Probably not - so maybe DBD is ok? He's just feeling very agenda driven and not really all that open to different possibilities.

aside, but obviously it's ideal to get the WW out. unfortunately i don't really believe there's a high value way of doing so. just too difficult and pretty much requires a rand.

which is like also a weird thing to me -- if you haven't looking at alice that closely why do you wind up town reading her that high in a game where most people don't. i softened my stance on alice after reading her actual scum game (she was giving very short one sentence responses) but also alice here was doing quite a few things present in her scum game so its like (?)

i mean the fact that 3 people just weren't voting is so sad good god. i mean i pretty much have to assume 2/3 mafia were just offwagon here right? need to review EOD to decide if joey was in actual danger - if so then yeah late votes on DBD could be scum motivated. but i really just wonder if this is tvt and mafia is all off wagon doing god knows what.

the genisu kill is very bizarre to me since m2h is town. actually for me this opens up a lot of ecat mafia worlds given that i do see an ecat team killing alice relatively often? i'll need to check if alice was scumreading ecat. if so that's an ECAT motivated kill on alice

the genisu kill from WW is easier for me to understand because I assume that ww was trying to dodge protection AND avoid killing who they thought mafia would kill.

Its still the Alice kill thats confusing to me considering she was POE for most people imo though yeah a shrewd person could see she probably wasn't super mislynchable
 
I dunno joey and catfries being teammates seems really weird. the catfries vote lock in was strange because dbd was probably always getting voted so i'm not really sure mafia!catfries bothers? seems like it would put way too much attention on your back. joey's vote is null sadly since self preservation meant they always had to vote dbd there.

i'm way more interested in the offwagon/not voting people. des being here 12 minutes to deadline and ended up voting...me is weird. pulsar probably town from lock vote and not voting d1 seems like town not really put together pulsar to me. idk about flanders. i guess saber was timezone issue. ecat never voted day 1 but is now voting catfries for "pressure" which is 1 eyebrow raised emoji

this seems way too difficult for how many people i think are town. can it really just be something as simple as 1 of catfries/des, ecat and idk someone i am null about (flanders/joey/redless even)?

Alice was goading des into locking her vote on joey or dbd so I don't think I would assume that

speaking as the number 1 des campaigner d1, i think this is a bad vote cuz the wolf kill from her doesn't make sense from a newbie perspective, and if she was scum she wouldnt keep her vote on you imo
