[OVERVIEW]

While Wormadam-G does possess a unique defensive typing that lets it check Pokemon such as Primeape, Togedemaru, and physical Skuntank, it finds itself entirely outclassed by Mudsdale as a defensive Ground-type. Even with its resistance to Fighting, Wormadam-G cannot compete with Mudsdale due to the latter's all-around superior stats and much greater offensive presence, not to mention Wormadam-G’s unfortunate inability to check threats such as Dodrio, Aggron, and Combusken thanks to its additional weaknesses.

However, Wormadam-G is very passive against anything that isn't weak to Earthquake, and the exact same function can be achieved by Mudsdale, which has a much stronger Earthquake and a better defensive ability in Stamina, not to mention higher utility thanks to Roar.
