Has anybody mentioned HGSS' Marowak yet?
Because I despise this sprite. Why is its head so ungodly flat? Did the poor thing run face-first into a brick wall?!

Idk, to me it looks a lot less aggressive than other Marowak sprites. Which is a bad thing.Has anybody mentioned HGSS' Marowak yet?

I think it's actually nice that Mewtwo looks so skinny. It's just like Alakazam. "Alakazam is able to use all forms of psychic abilities. These powers are used to move its body, as opposed to its weak muscles." At first sight Mewtwo also looks like a Psychic-type that uses high psychic powers to move as opposed to muscles. That's why I hate the fact that physical Fighting-type Mewtwo became a thing.
I agree on that, but Mewtwo looks so different to its DPPt sprite which was waaaay better:
I actually like this sprite for Mewtwo because it gives it a sense of... humanity? Like in the Pokemon Origins special we see Mewtwo displaying fear, which its never been shown to do before. It makes sense; it's just minding its own business in the cave and then suddenly you come along and startle it.
If that was their excuse for removing them, someone needs to explain the air-hanging Burmy.
I wish they just gave them flapping wings instead of a fixed pose. How the heck does this keep itself in the air..?
Then I'd rather have a spastic one like this:

I have an issue with pretty much every Pokémon model standing on the ground when you encounter battles when soaring in the sky.

I can't help but just laugh hard as some of those. Venusaur, Weedle (freaking clown), EKANS, Golbat, GOLDUCK (LOOOL), Primeape, Golem, Machamp, Bellsprout, Hypno, Geodude, GENGAR, Mew. Damn, those days..Here are some more sprites:Porygon's sprite looks so bad. >_<"
Tauros looks awesome, though. I remember the improvement in Yellow. Yellow had such good ones..

Gyarados kills me, he's just so pissed off and that is the exact face I thought it would make when it yells "Gyashaaa!!" to your face in GSC.

I was not aware that Swinub had feet, or enjoyed standing. Allow Silver's Magcargo sprite (which I actually like.) to show my expression.
And Slugma had some Squidward issues back in Gen II.

I have to admit that I secretly like Anorith and Empoleon's sprites though... It's just odd to see Anorith trying to be a Flying-type, and Empoleon pushing the fancy pimp boss attitude...
