[SET COMMENTS]

Magic Bounce comes in handy for reflecting status moves such as Toxic and most importantly Stealth Rock from Pokemon such as Registeel and Steelix. Heat Wave allows Xatu to hit Steel-types like Klefki and Metagross. Grass Knot 2HKOes common Stealth Rock setters such as Rhyperior and Seismitoad. Teleport's negative priority allows Xatu to bring teammates in safely, but U-turn is an alternative move that makes Xatu a very reliable pivot by not making it take additional damage when pivoting. Rocky Helmet is a great item on Xatu because it helps to pressure Steel-type Stealth Rock setters such as Cobalion and Registeel. Heavy-Duty Boots is also a useful item because Xatu is not going to be able to deflect Stealth Rock from certain Stealth Rock setters, such as Diancie and Stakataka, therefore, Heavy-Duty Boots is needed to not get chipped by their entry hazards when pivoting. Finally, the 60 Speed EVs allow Xatu to outpace Jolly Bewear.

Due to the great roles that Xatu provides as a defensive pivot, it can fit on balance or bulky teams. Xatu likes to have offensive pivots as teammates, such as Zarude and Mienshao, which appreciate Magic Bounce keeping entry hazards off the field so they can be more reliable pivot's. Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togekiss, Sylveon, and Galarian Weezing can be very helpful teammates since they are able to check Dark-type Pokemon such as Obstagoon and Zarude. Meanwhile, specially defensive walls like Steelix and Porygon2 appreciate hazard prevention, since then they can check Electric-types such as Xurkitree and Thundurus more reliably. Finally, Xatu is forced out against Zarude, so Rocky Helmet Cobalion is very useful to chip it when it uses U-turn.

In a tier where entry hazards such as stealth rocks are used on most teams, Xatu's ability, Magic Bounce, comes in handy at reflecting status moves such as Toxic and most importantly Stealth rock Stealth Rock from Pokemon such as Registeel and Steelix. Grass knot is in Xatu's Movepool because it helps wear down Bulky 2HKOes Stealth rockers Rock setters such as Rhyperior and Seismitoad. On the other hand, Heatwave Heat Wave allows Xatu to pressure Steel-types like Klefki and Metagross. U-turn makes Xatu as very reliable pivot and allows it to chip the opponent, however, teleport is an alternative because it has a negative priority, therefore, allowing Xatu to bring stuff in safely. Xatu's Ev spread is 252 hp / 196 Def / 60 Speed allows it to outpace Jolly Bewear which can be very helpful in some situations. Rocky Helmet is a great item on Xatu because it can deal damage to physical Stealth Rock setters rockers such as Cobalion, while also negating them to set hazards. In contrast, Heavy-Duty Boots is also a reliable item because Xatu is not going to be able to deflect stealth rocks Stealth Rock from everyone pokemon Pokemon, therefore, Heavy-Duty Boots can be helpful so you don't get chipped. 60 Speed EVs allow Xatu to outpace Jolly Bewear.

Due to the great roles that Xatu provides as a defensive pivot, it can fit on balance or bulky offensive teams. Xatu likes to have offensive pivots as teammates such as Zarude and Meinshao Mienshao, while they also like to have hazards off the field to be reliable pivots. Also, Fairy type pokemon Pokemon such as Togekiss, Sylveon, and Gardevoir Galarian Weezing can be very helpful teammates since they are able to check Dark type pokemon such as Obstagoon and Zarude. Meanwhile, specially defensive walls like Steelix and Porygon2 appreciate hazard prevention since then they can check Electric-types such as Xurkitree and Thundurus. Finally, Xatu doesn't like going up against offensive pivots like Zarude or Meinshao Mienshao, so Rocky Helmet users such as Cobalion and Galar-Weezing Galarian Weezing are very useful since they can chip the foe when they try to U-turn.

Magic Bounce (RC) comes in handy at reflecting status moves such as Toxic and most importantly Stealth Rock from Pokemon such as Registeel and Steelix. Grass knot because it 2HKOes StealthRock common Stealth Rock setters such as Rhyperior and Seismitoad. Heat Wave allows Xatu to pressure hit Steel-types like Klefki and Metagross. U-turn makes Xatu as very reliable pivot and allows it to chip the opponent, however, teleport is an alternative because it has a negative priority, therefore, allowing Xatu to bring stuff in safely. swap move order. also chip isnt the reason you would use turn, its so that xatu doesn't need to take additional damage when pivoting. Rocky Helmet is a great item on Xatu because it can deal damage to physical helps pressure Steel-type Stealth Rock setters rockers such as Cobalion and Registeel, in contrast, Heavy-Duty Boots is also a reliable item because Xatu is not going to be able to deflect Stealth Rock from everyone Pokemon, therefore, Heavy-Duty Boots can be helpful so you don't get chipped. mention it improves its mu against teams with rockers it cant deflect (eg diance) bc you're not gonna be taking chip dmg all the time 60 Speed EVs allow Xatu to outpace Jolly Bewear.

Due to the great roles that Xatu provides as a defensive pivot, it can fit on balance or bulky offensive teams. this isnt really true, xatu offense can work as well. instead mention how it can fit on any type of team that needs hazards from the likes of regi and cobalion off the field. Xatu likes to have offensive pivots as teammates such as Zarude and Mienshao, while they also like to have hazards off the field to be reliable pivots. Also, Fairy type Pokemon such as Togekiss, Sylveon, and Galarian Weezing can be very helpful teammates since they are able to check Dark type pokemon such as Obstagoon and Zarude. Meanwhile, specially defensive walls like Steelix and Porygon2 appreciate hazard prevention since then they can check Electric-types such as Xurkitree and Thundurus more reliably. Finally, Xatu doesn't like going up against offensive pivots like Zarude or Mienshao, so Rocky Helmet users such as Cobalion and Galarian Weezing galar weezing only runs rocky helm on like, stall. find another example (if u cant find anything else just remove mienshao and focus on zarude). are very useful since they can chip the foe when they try to U-turn.
