XY OU 6v6 Sandstorm Team

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Hp, 168 Def, 84 Sp.Def
Impish Nature
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock

Item: Leftover paired with Leech Seed give Ferrothorn Decent Recovery
Ability: Staple for a Physical Wall.
EV's: 252 Hp and 168 Def give Ferrothorn Additional Bulk when walling physical. The 84 Sp.Def EV's are top protect Ferrothorn a little bit more vs. Rotom-Wash, the main reason Ferrothorn is on the team.
Moveset: Power Whip and Gyro Ball are stabs, while Leech Seed paired with Leftovers gives him a decent amount of recovery. Stealth Rock is good setup.
Additional Notes: I found that since there aren't any move tutors in X and Y the fastest option for stealth rock is Mamoswine at 80 speed so i thought it was pointless adding a separate Stealth Rock lead. I mainly use him to counter Rotom-Wash since I was having a lot of troubles with him. Hes also my lead which is why he has stealth rock.

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Superpower (I think its illegal for non pokebank X and Y, maybe pursuit/earthquake)
- Thunder Fang

Item: Assault Vest and the Sp.Def boost in Sandstorm make his Sp.Def go through the roof.
Ability: Staple for Sandstorm team.
EV's: Both give him more bulk towards special moves.
Moveset: Crunch and Stone Edge are his stab moves. Superpower will be replaced by either Pursuit or Earthquake, due to Superpower being illegal, and Thunder Fang is for those unknowing Water types that switch in thinking Tyranitar wont be able to due anything. Little do they know....
Additional Notes: It hilarious to see Water types do 1/5 of your health. Ex: It took 2 Scalds from a Vaporeon and 3 energy balls from a Alakazam to take him down. I also killed Vaporeon in the process.

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Hp
Adamant Nature
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

Item: Protects Excadrill against Ground type attacks.
Ability: Staple for Sandstorm team. It makes him so fast and he can outspeed most of OU with it on.
EV's: Typical for sweeping potential.
Moveset: Earthquake and Iron Head are his stab moves, while Rock Slide is there for coverage. Swords Dance can be used for setup to allow an unstoppable sweep.
Additional Notes:

Garchomp (Mega) @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin(Sand Force)
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Hp
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Fire Fang

Item: Gives him ability to go Mega
Ability: Rough Skin is used because the evasive clause and Sand Force is extremely strong in Sandstorm.
EV's: Typical for sweeping potential.
Moveset: Dragon Claw and Earthquake are his stab moves, while Iron Head is used for those pesky Fairy types that think it's okay to switch in a dragon. Rock Slide is there for Sand Force boost but Fire Fang can be used for coverage.
Additional Notes:

Gengar @ Life Orb/ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spe, 4 Hp
Timid Nature
- Subsitute
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunder Bolt

Item: Life Orb can be used to have Shadow Ball hit harder, while Black Sludge can be used for recovery since Gengar has Subsitute and Sandstorm goes through Subsitute.
Ability: Only Ability.
EV's: Typical for sweeping potential.
Moveset: Shadow Ball is his stab move, while Focus Blast is used for coverage and Subsitute gives him something to hide behind. Thunderbolt is on him because it helps vs. Sandstorms main weakness which is Water types. Although, Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse, Energy Ball, Psychic, and Dazzling Gleam can be used for addition coverage and Disable and Pain Split are also good.
Additional Notes: He's my favorite Pokemon :D

Talonflame @ Lum Berry/Sitrus Berry
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 Hp
Adamant Nature
- U-Turn
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Item: Lum Berry can be used if you are afraid of Status aliments and Sitrus Berry can be used if you are afraid of killing yourself.
Ability: OP ability is OP. Give priority on Flying moves.
EV's: Typical for sweeping potential.
Moveset: Brave Bird and Flare Blitz are his stab moves. Roost is there for recovery and U-turn is there for momentum and the occasional coverage.
Additional Notes:

He is my team builder that lists weaknesses http://www.teammagma.net/teambuilder/?598|248|94|663|530|445598|248|94|663|530|445
I feel I did a good job covering my weaknesses with threats that can kill that type. I had problems looking for a Stealth Rock lead without changing my whole team since Stealth Rock Aerodactyl is illegal. Is Stealth Rock a must in 6v6s?

HI,
Starting with Tyranitar superpower is not illega so you can use it

i would like to give Life Orb to Excradrill

Excadrill: Life orb
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Hp (Adamant)
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Iron Head
Swords Dance

Life Orb i would like life orb because it can sweep easily and it would be faster than other and air ballon

And change the item for Tyranitar
Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
252 Hp, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Atk Adamant
Crunch
Stone Edge
Superpower
Thunder Fang
Smooth Rock it would help excradrill to sweep

It might help if you structure your improvements to normal PKshowdown Import codes.
E.G:-
Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- Thunder Fang

By the way, it might be helpful to have a spinner/defogger on your team, as Talonflame has 4x Weakness to rock. I would suggest:-
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

Removing your weakness to stealth rock, by allowing talon to switch in freely (As well as Excadrill has a 4x Resistance to Stealth Rock)

Relating to what he said if you dont want excadrill to have rapid spin and wanna a sweeping set then you can go with donphan who can get rid of hazards and set them other pokemon like that are forretress and skarmory also other pokemon to consider in a sandstorm team are heatran or mamoswine can work or swampert
