Tournament Rules:

  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the SV ZU ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Replays are required.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

#16 czim vs #8 love chant - I think love chants has shown greater motivation and may come more prepared against the marshtomp palpitoad lord. Czim has more experience in previous gens which compensates, but I’m excited to see how this goes
#4 LustfulLice vs #5 Toto - i would say hax but i’m the one with that title lice is a skilled player that has gotten significantly better since his debut in SS but Toto has even more experience and prep going. Toto is great at building in his own right despite memes telling him he steals teams.
#2 a fruitshop owner vs #7 Tuthur - Both coming off a fresh ZU Open and being two amazing players in general, though I‘d say Tuthur takes this. Better with other gens and has a stronger feel with SV.
#3 OranBerryBlissey10 vs #6 fish anemometer - True memers would fully bold team right, the truly heroic, honorable, and trustworthy side. I think OBB takes this with his very solid and crelative builds.
