Heatran has been utilizing various Z-Crystals like Firium Z and Steelium Z to break past certain checks, and now we're showcasing the Grassium Z set! This set capitalizes on trapping Water-types that usually check Heatran, like Rotom-W, Tapu Fini, and the recently rising Gastrodon, with Magma Storm and smashing them with a super effective Bloom Doom. Given that the former two often carry Defog, Grassium Z makes Heatran a better Stealth Rock setter in these matchups. Pokemon that appreciate these Water-types gone like Mega Scizor and Ash-Greninja make for good allies to Grassium Z Heatran. Tapu Bulu, while generally being Heatran's best teammate, increases the firepower of Bloom Doom with its Grassy Terrain, allowing Heatran to OHKO the likes of Garchomp, Mega Alakazam, and Gliscor with Bloom Doom.

This set capitalizes on luring in Water-types that usually check Heatran, like Rotom-W, Tapu Fini, and recently rising Gastrodon, and smashing them with super effective Bloom Doom. Instead of luring, you could say something about trapping them with Magma Storm to then guarantee the KO with Bloom Doom. It's a little nitpicky, but it'd showcase something cool about the set in how it's not a prediction based lure. Given that the former two often carry Defog, Grassium Z makes Heatran a better Stealth Rock setter in these matchups. Pokémon that appreciate these Water-types gone like Mega Scizor and certain Protean Greninja sets make for good allies to Grassium Z Heatran. I don't think that Protean Greninja is a good example. Ash-Greninja would make for a better example, seeing how Tapu Fini and Gastrodon are some of the best checks to it. Tapu Bulu, while generally being Heatran's best teammate, increases the firepower of Bloom Doom with its Grassy Terrain, allowing Heatran to OHKO the likes of Garchomp and Gliscor with Z-Move. Grassy Terrain also guarantees that Bloom Doom OHKOes Mega Alakazam, which I think is worth highlighting too.
