ZU ZU Circuit 2024 Playoffs (Won by diegoyuhhi)

Toto vs BloodAce - Toto’s my favorite here but it’s a close match; BloodAce has pretty solid prep and Toto’s a solid player, but Toto’s let games slip before and BloodAce isn’t always the greatest clicker. Pretty solid match nonetheless. 55-45
Tuthur vs Zause - Do I really have to bold one of them? Tuthur’s focused on other tours and Zause is stealing SK’s teams, but I guess I’ll give the edge to Tuthur since I still think he’s the better player and Zause tends to choke as pressure increases in tournaments. 60-40
Scarf Kricketune vs Diego - SK’s clearly back to play ball, and I underestimated them last round. I think Diego’s prep is excellent and could potentially catch SK off guard, but I also think SK’s the better player at the end of the day. 60-40
fish anemometer vs TBasedGod - Tim ended up with some fortunate matches last week, taking out my boy obb in the process. Tim’s not a bad player by any means, but I think fish is a more solid overall player and should be able to adapt to Tim’s shenanigans; he’s the clear favorite in my mind. 65-35

Toto vs BloodAce - Toto is the man in form at the moment. BloodAce is certainly a capable player but its tough not to bold Toto rn given his performances. Should be an entertaining match. 55|45
Tuthur vs TomatoZause - Who doesn't love a Grudge Match? Zause is fighting back with something to prove whereas Tuthur was robbed of an additional week of high level gameplay. Regardless of the quality of this match, this will be must watch cinema. I'm going with the underdog. 45|55
Scarf Kricketune vs Diegoyuhhi - I'm still not entirely convinced by Scarf Kricketune here. I'm interested to see if they can prove me wrong once again but Diego is a fierce opponent during individual tours. 40|60
Fish Anemometer vs TBasedGod - All shackles of neutrality have been taken off for this prediction. Lil T the Based God has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Meanwhile Fish despite being the better player had struggled out a win against a somewhat dejected Medeia. We're going to see a shock result against a potential favourite here. Let that be known. Toto vs BloodAce - Ivy Gang vs USNE. Don’t want to predict against my two buds.
Tuthur vs Zause - Anakin slays Obi-Wan. In all seriousness, I think zause will be highly motivated to win this game. Tuthur makes solid plays and brings good teams, but with Chungler support, zause will have solid teams with some cooking done to them, which will give him a shot. zause just has to show up to his game on time!
Scarf Kricketune vs Diego - Diego should have won vs Lice 2-0 if he didn’t misplay and used his timer. He seems highly motivated to do well and had solid teams last round, while SK doesn’t seem to care about ZU much. Hes a good player nonetheless and will give Diego a run for his money, especially if Diego doesn’t play well.
fish anemometer vs TBasedGod - fish is a smart player and will do well at reading the odd brings that Mr. BasedGod tries to get away with. He’s gained a lot of confidence and skill since last year after playing in SCL and winning PU circuit.
 
Toto vs BloodAce - idk where his teams are coming from but toto is the better pilot
Tuthur vs Zause - highlight of the whole tournament. tuthur is gonna quit ZU and would never hear the end of it if he loses to zause here, but i'm backing zause to get the job done
Scarf Kricketune vs Diego - let it be known i was the only one to predict SK last week, and i feel confident in him here again

Toto vs BloodAce - two seasoned veterans who both had knacks for lucking each other. I think Toto has a higher ceiling through the unpredictability of his teams but I wouldn't be surprised if BloodAce takes this
Tuthur vs Zause - Zause has boasted impressive tournament results and has caused a lot of upsets through his runs, however I think Tuthur can take it through with more experience and consistency
Scarf Kricketune vs Diego - This feels like a coinflip match but while I think SK can take it if he doesn't run into lopsided matchups, I wouldn't be surprised if Diego takes this through his prep time and his results from individual tours
fish anemometer vs TBasedGod - Because I have spent three predictions trying to analyze matchups that are volatile, I will instead bold TBasedGod through his creativity with teambuilding over fish's builds. I have faith Gloom will arrive to put the boring Mesprits, Passimians, and Charizard's to sleep.

fish anemometer vs BloodAce - bloodace’s teams are just as solid as fish’s but his play has still been questionable at times, so giving it to fish with the better overall play. 60/40
diegoyuhhi vs TomatoZause - both of their sets last week had some scuffed elements, and tbh I really don’t know who to pick here so I guess I’ll pick diego just to spite zause. 51/49
 
(7/12 isn't horrible tbf, and British tax makes it 7/10 so I'm actually GOATED in predicts rn)

Fish Anemometer vs BloodAce - Shoutouts to both Fish and BloodAce, there's been some fun games and solid teams throughout the playoff circuit so far. I'm interested to see whether BloodAce can prove me wrong here again after he smacked around Toto. However, I've slightly preferred Fish's team selection, and I reckon Fish will struggle himself to get into the finals in 3. 55|45
Diegoyuhhi vs TomatoZause - I would not be surprised if Diego goes on to win the entire thing, especially as Diego knows how to pull a result out of nowhere in these individual tours. Zause has the biggest point to prove this tour as he wants to give out one massive middle finger to Tuthur (and Baitwiz LOL). I could see some absolute jank being loaded by both sides, but I think the Skibidi Rizzler gets some insane hax g1 to tilt Diego, and takes the set in 2. 40|60

Baitwiz's plot armor is too weak - bad clicks stop him, hax doesn't stop his opponent, even when he lucks 5dots (rare occurence) - he will always find a way to throw every game. It seems destined that he will never make top 8 of a teamtour nor will he ever win a teamtour let alone have a winning record in one.
