¡No toques a Cryogonal o te puede congelar! Su excelente Speed y acceso a recuperación lo vuelven una buena opción como usuario de Rapid Spin en el metagame de ZU. Freeze-Dry le permite vencer Water-types tales como Clawitzer, Samurott y Whiscash, y otros setter de entry hazards, como Sandslash, y Grass-types como Whimsicott. Flash Cannon le da cobertura súper efectiva contra Ice-types como Froslass, quien no se inmuta con Freeze-Dry y es un blanco importante debido a su acceso a Spikes y Ghost-type secundario. Tera Steel no solo tiene buena sinergia con Levitate, sino que también provee una resistencia útil a ataques Fairy-type como los de Whimsicott. Cryogonal tiene un bulk físico terrible, lo que lo deja vulnerable frente a atacantes físicos fuertes como Lycanroc y Passimian. Para arreglar esto, emparéjalo con compañeros defensivos físicos, como Weezing y Regirock. Este último puede colocar Stealth Rock y usar su gran bulk físico para hacer counter a Sneasel. Weezing puede usar su Poison-type puro y acceso a Will-O-Wisp para enfrentar a amenazas como Toxicroak, quien puede darle muchos problemas a Cryogonal.

Don't touch Cryogonal, or it can freeze you! Cryogonal's great Speed tier, as well as its access to reliable recovery, makes it a good choice for a Rapid Spin user in the ZU metagame. Freeze-Dry allows it to break past Water-types including Clawitzer, Samurott, and Whiscash, as well as other entry hazard setters like Sandslash and Grass-types like Whimsicott. Flash Cannon provides super effective coverage for Ice-types like Froslass, which can otherwise shrug off Freeze-Dry, and it's an important target to hit because of its access to Spikes and its secondary Ghost typing. Tera Steel not only has great synergy with Levitate, but it also provides a useful resistance to Fairy-type attacks from the likes of Whimsicott. Cryogonal suffers from terrible physical bulk, which lets it be easily picked off by strong physical attackers, such as Lycanroc and Passimian. To fix this, pair it with physically defensive teammates, like Regirock and Weezing. Regirock can set Stealth Rock and use its great physical bulk to answer threats like Sneasel. Weezing can utilize its pure Poison typing and access to Will-O-Wisp to answer threats like Toxicroak, which can otherwise give Cryogonal trouble.
