I've actually clicked on some of the replay links for once, which is the most following I've ever done for any PL tournament ever, so I am extremely overqualified for completely accurate, factual, non-biased, authentic, real, and reputable predictions. Idk enough about the other metas to talk.

To Pimp a Butterfree (0) vs (0) Shiiny Shiinotics
SS ZU: clean vs OranBerryBlissey10 - This seems like the closest matchup of the SS games. Both clean and OBB brought off-meta picks week 1, with clean bringing Carracosta and OBB bringing NP Tri Attack Beheeyem. Funnily enough, they both also faced off-meta picks (Mawile and Orbeetle). Their week 1 teams to me show that both players are willing to go outside the box. The question is whether either player rolls with another creative pick or goes back to what is proven to work. I give the slight edge to clean here mainly because he's been more proven in ZU team tours. Imo both players didn't have the best showings w1 despite winning so I'm looking forward to this matchup.
SM ZU: azogue vs MZ - I'm more confident in MZ's play and support. azogue's team w1 was too weak to Grounds, which was clear when CB Golem would come in and dent something each time. Also, MZ's game would've gone differently if not for Focus Blast missing.
ORAS ZU: TWiTT vs tier - It's always a pain facing Twitt in ORAS because it feels like he can use a wide range of styles and techs. Twitt's also a capable pilot and is up against someone doesn't look that familiar with the metagame. While I heavily favor Twitt here, I don't discount OBB support and the fact that tier is also a capable pilot (I think he'll be more in tune with the meta by the time he plays this).

SS ZU: diegoyuhhi vs TomatoZause - The real highlight of this week. SS Cup winner diego brings heat and makes it work. It's a shame Mawile missed that Fire Blast because the lure could've worked out as anticipated, but didn't. On the other hand, Zause brought a fun-looking team w1 and won handily. Truth is I'm biased. MANECTRICS TILL THE DAY I DIE
SM ZU: Tenebricite vs BloodAce - Should be a close one imo. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with Tenebricite beyond last week's game. However, I really liked the team Tenebricite brought and think the game was played well. BloodAce is more familiar with SM ZU and has more experience here. Both players had impressive wins last week, so it's tough for me to choose. I'm more familiar with BA so I'm leaning there.
ORAS ZU: 5Dots vs sleid - Battle of the ORAS ZU QC team. Both have great knowledge of the tier. I'm somewhat more confident with 5dots's in-game play compared to sleid's, so I predict 5dots to win. I also think that 5dots uses more varied team styles and has that cheese factor (like when he used sun vs me and won), which makes prepping for him more difficult to an extent.

SS ZU: Fogbound Lake vs TheFranklin - I don't think this game will be that close. Franklin just seems like the better player to me and one who has more experience in SS ZU. Tuthur + AFO support is impactful though, and I wouldn't be surprised if there 200+ SS ZU teams between the two. However, I really think that Franklin's in-game play and toto's support will pull through.
SM ZU: Tuthur vs Finchinator - As the PRs made clear, Tuthur is dominant in SM ZU. He was cheesed by Bellossom last week and is up against btboy prep this week, and we saw how btboy's prep can work out with the Chatot call. Finchinator is a proven pilot in SM ZU tour after tour, so I think this will be a close one.
ORAS ZU: a fruitshop owner vs Toto - Highlight ORAS matchup of the week. Tbh I don't want to see either lose b/c I'm a fan of both, but one's gotta take the L. I feel that fruits' stuff is generally easier to prep for in terms of team styles (could just be me). Meanwhile, I think Toto sprinkles in hazard stack more often than afo does, which means you have to account for them+fat teams like he brought last week. My gut says fruits will pull through, but my heart says Toto can't start 0-2. Let's see what happens.
