yall actually keep slotting mid/decent players into toto and idk what the hell yall are thinking this is a player who isnt being beat with any Euclidian playstyle. an ok player with ok placings will never beat a drunk player with good placings so im gonna give yall a guide on who to match into toto

i think this is hands down the best player to slot into toto if you can get him to admit hes not actually drey77. i think if we are able to teach him how to form a coherent scentence then we can definitely teach him to beat toto 1v1. unfortunately this does require drey to return to his former glory but i do think that if you can manage to revive him he will have the best chance

obb (win probability 5%)

yea obb doesnt play oras but tbh he could easily hax the game and pull off the W with this one. obb was able to get room voice in a month, so if they put their mind to it, obb could probably build up the brain power to beat toto with hax in time for zupl 7.

the pu ladder bot thingy (90%)

im actually pretty sure that this is a random number generator but i think it has better odds of winning over most of the players

toto (win probability 70%)

i think toto is a particularly good mu against toto. toto really possesses the meta understanding of oras to go toe to toe with totos knowledge of the tier. furthermore they both seemed to have played right along side each other in almost every match so toto really does know how to get into totos head in many games. overall i think this is a pretty equal matchup between two great competitors and could definitely hedge your bets in the game.

sleid (win probability 15%)

this isnt a suggestion but im putting it here anyways. toto beat the opp last week so bad they didnt even show up for the game and i dont expect any difference this week, but given the fact that sleid is ever so slightly less mid than 5dots ig its worth a try (bring evio pika this round)

Cramlington Cramorants (0) vs (0) Dwayne Gang
SS ZU: One Last Kiss vs Pokeslice - I'm not really familiar with One Last Kiss, so I don't have much to say there. I did watch their ORAS game last week and it being one-sided didn't reveal much considering the Freeze and how weak 5dots's team was to Specs Vanilla. That being said, Diego was subbed out after going 0-3, which means his builds are also 0-3. This is notable because I assume Diego still has to build for SS and he often likes to use off-meta techs. I think it'll be tough for someone not as familiar with SS ZU like One Last Kiss to use Diego's teams if he makes them in the same style as usual. While it's still doable for Diego to build as usual and sum up how to use a team and play certain matchups, it's arguably easier to roll with a sample team style build and cover your bases that way. As for Dwayne Gang, Pokeslice has been piloting teams soundly for the most part. However, Dwayne Gang have also been reusing teams. This gives me some doubt going this matchup because if they're just reusing (i.e., Danny and support aren't building anything new), then Diego can probably cook up a good matchup. Still, I trust Pokeslice's play more here + Crams are 0-3 here + new player and I think that affects how Diego builds for this week.
SM ZU: Tenebricite vs Greybaum - Tenebricite has quietly been the player to watch thus far. After beating Finch last week, Tenebricite is 3-0. Tenebricite's teams and play have been pretty impressive so far (I really liked the Toxic Tect Golem). He covers his bases well in the builder and I haven't really seen any holes in his play either. The same applies to Greybaum, who's also 3-0. With Greybaum as Kurt Angle, it's like all of his opponents were boys and he's a man. Seriously though, I feel like Greybaum is building and playing freely, using whatever he thinks is good and can work (like Machoke last week). To me, that's when Greybaum's at his best. Moreover, he's more familiar with the tier than Tenebricite. This is honestly quite difficult to predict because both players have been building and playing super well. Definitely the HL for me. I give the slight edge to Greybaum, though I really can see it go either way.
ORAS ZU: 5Dots vs spell - There's a gap in metagame knowledge and team building here that gives 5dots an advantage. 5dots just has more time in the tier and is more familiar with different styles than spell and Dwayne Gang's support. Moreover, the teams spell has used so far have common weaknesses that 5dots should capitalize on. That being said, spell pilots teams well and the ORAS support only gets more familiar with the tier as time goes on. spell gave AFO a competitive match last week and lost narrowly. I believe this game will be competitive as well.

Shiiny Shiinotics (0) vs (0) Sacred Sakura
SS ZU: OranBerryBlissey10 vs Fogbound Lake - One lost to sun last week and the other beat the sun matchup. I feel like the Sakuras have been reusing SS teams (don't feel like combing through Tuthur's teams to be sure, maybe Zause can help with that). Despite playing relatively well, Fogbound Lake sits at 1-2. This week is where I think Sakuras should roll with something different because OBB has certain building tendencies to take advantage of and the Sakuras haven't brought a scarfer yet. Conversely, I favor OBB here in large part because it looks like he's trying to keep things fresh with his teams. For example, he brought Beheeyem week one, Shiftry & Throh week two, and Eggy week three. Moreover, OBB's been playing well and Fogbound Lake's teams also have tendencies to take advantage of.
SM ZU: MZ vs Tuthur - Despite being 0-3, I think Tuthur's teams and play have been fine. His losses were more about his opponents packing the right threats or techs more than Tuthur playing poorly imo. MZ has been a lot more successful in comparison. MZ's teams have been solid, though they have been kind of similar in style across all three weeks. I think this will be a close game and I've been sitting here going back and forth between the two. Ultimately I think that Tuthur has much more to focus on than SM (and ofc Fruits can support SM) whereas MZ is in a good groove and can focus on himself, so I favor MZ slightly.
ORAS ZU: tier vs a fruitshop owner - AFO is playing and building as well as ever and still has innovative sets up his sleeve. While I did hax tier pretty hard last week, there were a couple of questionable plays he made (like keeping Meganium in vs Swalot early). I just think the gap here is too big. Maybe if tier uses HO again like he did with twitt support last year he'd perform better.

CASTLE (0) vs (0) Morpeek-A-Boos
SS ZU: TomatoZause vs Quinn - Zause's win last week had some nice layers to it. The PRs have Zause ranked last and clean ranked first. Both Zause and clean were 3-0. Zause brought a Butterfree against the Butterfrees and dominated with it. His prep has been excellent. I don't think Zause has really been tested yet because he's been able to prep effectively and create good matchups for himself. Even still, there has to be something more behind Zause's 3-0 start and overall success in SS.

Quinn is a solid player and had success in SS last Olympiad. Quinn also has toto support so this should be a fun matchup.
SM ZU: BloodAce vs Finchinator - BA's been trending down since his week one win, while Finch continues to look strong. I also trust Morpeek-A-Boos's support more than CASTLE's. I still think BA can come through, but it just feels like his play has went down slightly and he hasn't been consistent as a result.
ORAS ZU: sleid vs Toto - My hopes for this matchup are that toto builds something new (probably won't happen) and sleid uses something outside of his usual style (like in week one). I think toto is the better player and is more varied in what he uses, so I favor him more. I think this can quietly be the best ORAS game of the week (or the haxiest who knows).
