Sorry, I'm not sure if I'd had been able to accomodate even if we had talked about this on monday :( I'm GMT+0 so ideal time would probably be either your morning my afternoon or your early afternoon / my early evening.

We play in OMCL! I’m in -6, US Central. You’re in +1, right? This might be tricky, my mornings are not clear… I can do Thursday night after 6pm my time if you’re a night owl. Otherwise, my best time is Sunday morning my time. Like 9am, which I think would be 4pm your time.

RE: the Deezcastforms situation

I have been keeping myself completely silent about this situation, but now that it is over, I think it's time I write a few words about this.

Disclaimer: I won't be giving my opinion on this matter, and chose not do it throughout the whole thing, as giving it means I'd have nothing to gain and very much to lose just by doing it, regardless of what my opinion was. I'm sure that if you put yourself in my shoes, most of you understand why that's the case. And honestly, even to myself, my opinion stopped mattering a long time ago, because something much worse came out of it. Which brings us to the reason why I'm writing this post.

The drama that ensued because of this situation (mostly on the rbycord) was absolutely disgraceful. And everyone is at fault here. People from my team, people from the Wartortles, and even outsiders. At some point along the way this became much more about "the Deezcastforms vs Laroxyl situation" than about the tournament itself, the games, and having fun as a community. At points, some of the highlights of the tournament's weeks were being played, and yet what kept being "discussed" (can I even call it a discussion?) was this situation. What's this about after all, playing and watching some RBY, or about discussing and adding more fuel to the next piece of drama that popped up? Because judging on some situations where people chose to bring this up, it sure looks like it's about the latter.

There were no winners or losers in this, no one that is right or wrong. Only losers. We all lost, the Wartortles, the Pampus and especially, the community as a whole.

I've already spoken to the parties involved in our team about this, and I won't reach out to anyone in particular about this outside of it. But I hope that you at least give it a thought to whether it was worth it. I think most of you will see it was definitely not.
