Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

This is legit the worst Steel team I have ever seen in my life.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-399706700
And he won, but mainly because his opponent wasn't any better.

(L) Sitrus Berry Alakazam.
(R) Aura Sphere+Extreme Speed Lucario.
(R) Superpower Registeel.
(R) Giga Drain Ferrothorn.
(L) Telekinesis Leftovers Gardevoir.
(R) Hidden Power Doublade.
(L) Dark Pulse+Shadow Ball ayy lmao Beheeyem. Also, Beheeyem in general.
(R) Shadow Ball+Crunch Mawile. I guess you can abuse Sheer Force, but still.
(L) Meowstic-M doing nothing but attacking.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-400657914
The worst Electric team ever gets walled by a Ferrothorn with no attacking moves.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-400683271
Same team gets destroyed by a noob, who Earthquakes a Rotom-Wash and runs Bug Buzz on Shedinja, who has BASE 30 Special Attack.

Luxray with Ice Fang/Night Slash/Iron Tail
Mega Ampharos with Focus Blast/Hidden Power Something/Thunder
Magnezone with Tri Attack/Gyro Ball/Explosion
Rotom Wash with Dark Pulse/Thunder/Secret Power/Hydro Pump
Dedenne with Grass Knot/Dig/Thunder
Stunfisk with Sludge Bomb

And only God knows what items these had.

There's also Flame Charge Darmanitan (Sheer Force says hi) and HP Fighting+Low Kick Greninja, which at least was Protean. As for Ampharos, it was probably the least bad of the bunch, but realized too late that Mold Breaker ignores Wonder Guard.

And while I'm here...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-400699288
Just your average Mega Gengar sweep caused by Mega Metagross using Hammer Arm on it. Until Mega Rayquaza survives the hit and kills it with... Blizzard. Mega Gyarados also has Blizzard.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-400694792
Random dumbness including Psychic Metagross, Supersonic+Explosion Magnezone, and my personal favorite, Psychic+Future Sight Heatproof Shuca Berry Bronzong.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-400695549
Coil+Agility+Amnesia+Baton Pass Gorebyss. Because SmashPass is too mainstream.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-400702990
Mono Electric with all 4 golems, Sludge Bomb Scolipede, and a Regirock who doesn't know what Levitate is.

rub a dub dub one scrub in a tub

also
Left: With Ray having Delta, and Char having Desolate Land, I'm willing to bet that all of his mons have whatever ability they usually have.
Right: lol his team gets 6-0ed by imposter chansey

  • (L) Metal Sound Bronzong. Its sole attacking move is Gyro Ball.
  • (R) Giga Impact Mega Metagross. Yes, that means that Charizard isn't Mega, again.
  • (L) Dedenne. Paralyzing Gallade is its only achievement.
  • (R) The aforementioned Charizard has Fly, allowing Garchomp to use Swords Dance twice.
  • (R) Sylveon stops the rampage and reveals... Body Slam. In a Calm Mind set, of all things. However...
0- Atk Pixilate Sylveon Body Slam vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Bronzong on a critical hit: 38-45 (11.2 - 13.3%) -- possible 8HKO
The move only dealt 9%. So either it had 0 IVs in Atk, or it had Cute Charm. Most likely the latter, as it also used Moonblast.
  • (R) Mega Metagross reveals Double-Edge. Where are your STAB moves?
  • (R) Conkeldurr using Earthquake on Bronzong, when there are no Ground weaknesses left and Gallade revealed Levitate earlier. Superpower would have been the safest choice.

Too many Nuzzles and Tickles here. And there's worse.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-402745667
Left gets the lion's share with Dark Pulse Chandelure (#DarkIsNotGhost), Thunder Punch Mega Charizard Y and Magcargo.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403379765
Right has an Ash team. Left has an awful team that only wins because right has an Ash team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403380358
Just one of the six Mew nearly gets a sweep, but not before Drain Punching a Sableye.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-403378930
Magic Bounce awareness failure, and Wobbuffet vs. Shuckle descends into an Encore war.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-403381918
Hypno is not going to work all that well in 1v1. Especially by itself.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-403378686
Seaking is a new one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403377396
Clear Smog Golduck is one way to deal with CM Unaware Clefable. Nasty Plot Ninetales repeatedly getting fully paralyzed and Weakness Policy Dragonite are not.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-403376677
Excadrill outstalls Klefki and Whimsicott, using Aerial Ace and no STABs. Also, that Sylveon set.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-403383044
Not even Monotype is safe from the infamous non-mega Charizard.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403379578
Swords Dance+Judgment Arceus, and despite the fact that he also had Disable Mega Kangaskhan and Heal Block Giratina, used that instead against Quagsire.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403383451
Cloyster, part of a mono Ice team, easily dispatches a Paul (Ash's rival from DP) team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403387997
(L) Psychic+Dark Pulse+Memento Chandelure.
(R) Donphan using Play Rough on Chandelure, you know, instead of Earthquake, so you don't get burned by Flame Body...
(R) Sludge Wave+Dragon Pulse+Substitute+Focus Punch (at least it was with the sub this time) Goodra.
(L) Miltank. Offensive. With Thunderbolt (which at least managed to paralyze Vespiquen) and a Chople Berry (helping against the aforementioned Goodra).
(L) Ice Beam+Uproar non-mega Lopunny.
(L) Facade Gogoat falling for Destiny Bond.
(R) Fake Out+Assist+Night Slash Normal Gem Persian.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403390077
Explosion Mega Gengar, and Gourgeist-Average having its way with a very poorly played Mienshao.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-403387635
Delibird, Ledian, and more.

Banned deucer.
When you think you're being clever on the STABmons ladder ...

Medicham's Medichamite is reacting to Eevee General's Mega Bracelet!
Medicham has Mega Evolved into Mega Medicham!

The opposing Serperior used Swords Dance!
The opposing Serperior's Attack rose sharply!

Medicham used Skill Swap!
Medicham swapped Abilities with its target!
Medicham acquired Overgrow!
The opposing Serperior acquired Pure Power!

Ash beats an even worse team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403559743
With Mono-Clefable on the left, right chooses to lead with his/her Honchkrow. The infamous Cosmic Power + Stored Power Clefable sweeps. Also, add that non-Mega Charizard to the count.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403559868
A battle full of bad Smeargles, Drain Punch MMY, Shuckle forcing a ragequit, and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403553866
Questionable sets, but there are worse things tbh.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-403554207

Shuckle + Bunnelby team fails hard vs No Guard MMY

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-403484490
Stall Shuckle forces a forfeit against a very bad Mega Lopunny (and lol Mega Lopunny in BH in the first place).

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-403385925
Mew, Dusknoir, Swagger Aegislash, Extreme Speed Lugia, Cotton Guard, Protect and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-403556668
A lone FEAR Aron vs a lone Swalot. Left doesn't understand what FEAR is.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-403537526
A lone Charizard (at least it's Mega) lures Swampert in and bops it.
