My opinion? Spread the love around. Don't give 5 Pokémon to one user, that's too much overkill. Most people are ecstatic to win just one :) As for what to give away, give away your favorites. Personalize it. When I had my 1000th post, I gave away a 6 IV Snover as the final prize (my favorite Pokémon). I think people like receiving things with a little touch of personal value to them. Congrats on hitting 1000!
So the strangest opinion I have is that I don't think your prizes should be limited to Shinies, I don't see the appeal -same with the ball breeding - I guess I'm one of the minority. I think five to one person is a bit much 3-2-1 would be more than fair if you give six away. And you absolutely should include your RNGs - I wish I could do plus you can include tutor moves.

Suggestions for the 1000 post giveaway. Maybe a choice of Pokemon (however many you choose) fitting the rose theme?
- Grass types
- Red, yellow, white, etc. (common rose colors)
- Thorny designs.
