  • Never save the battery file until you catch the legendary. For all other intents and purposes, use save states. Unless for some strange reason you want to start at frame 0...in which case battery save, and turn it off :P
    Nope, that's where save states come into play :) just write a save state, you can turn your computer off, then you can just reload the save state and keep playing. The save state "freezes" the game, similar to closing your DS lid. And 400% is rather slow :\ so it will probably take a long time. I get to 1000% and it took me what, two weeks to get that spread? Try and get it to 600% at least..

    I've reuploaded the old version. I don't know why it wouldn't run on Vista; if it happens again, try redownloading it.

    Hi, yes it does. The concept is the same (xor), the method it's programmed for is the same (method 1).

    It should be a .exe (Windows executable) file. If you're running Windows, it should run automatically.

    Nah. Not until I get very close. With the help of someone's spreadsheet, I could easily estimate what spread I was at. I only checked every couple of days, but it was a tiny bit hectic on the day of the capture :P
    That's pretty much it, just to find the current frame. That is all it is needed for. I think RNG Reporter might be able to do it, but much slower :\

    Yeah, unless you can find another way. A friend did it for me and sent me the results so I don't actually know how it works >_>
