Yeah sadly, but Showdown is really buggy at times and it always seems to been down at least once a month. PO is really reliable, and hardly ever goes down. I like the tiering MUCH better on Showdown though. I'll still mostly play on Showdown, but it's great to have a backup.

Hmmm... I'm kind of in a predicament as to what to do about our next tourney. I asked Tabuu if he'd stick around for the tournament, and he said that he just doesn't have enough motivation to make a new team. Which means, I don't know who to give the advantage to. Having this tournament advantage is really cool, so I don't want someone to miss out on it. I was thinking of giving it to Halcyon since he was the runner-up. What do you think?

Yeah I see what you mean, but I really like PO as well because it offers up so many varieties of tiering. For example, you can play Gen 1 if you'd like, or a Monotype tier. I have a lot of fun with the Battle Factory which gives you a random viable team from a random tier. You should get it back! I've been planning on having a PO get together one of these days with a few of our members.

What do you mean it doesn't have a good special movepool to abuse sheer force with?
Its got ice beam, thunderbolt and fire blast, which get amazing coverage. With sheer force it essentially has 99 base special attack, so its super effective blows will deal a lot of damage. And it still can abuse waterfall with the special attacks to break down walls.
So I would say that special sheer force gyarados is pretty effective at breaking down physical walls.
