Yes, exactly! Because you need to find your standard seed (since the standard seed is what determines the PIDs, not the C-Gear seed).
What I meant by "Eon Timer for this" was that, usually, you start the game at the end of the first timer. So if your first timer is 24:xx, then in the simple seed generator/paramter finder, you would put 25 as the second (or 24, I'm not sure if the Reporter accounts for the +1).
1.) Figure out what time you enter the game, like when hitting a standard seed (Eon Timer for this). Also take any keypresses into account :P
2.) Using the Simple Seed Generator (5th gen tools -> Simple seed generator) find all possible seeds (i.e. with no AR, you have two 2 timer0's. So find one seed using one timer0 and another with the other timer0).
3.) Use the parameters search with the time from step 1 to find out which timer0 you got.
And there's your seed!
