I don't know set names at all, but I collected mostly during the first two seasons of the show (from the kaiba arc all the way to the pegasus fight) so presumably the first two sets? I don't recognize any of those names sadly (will check my cards next time I'm hom I guess) but I do think I might have black luster soldier (the original though, probably)

the ghost was more of a cartoony kind of thing, I'm pretty sure it was white (or really pale blue) on a red background. I'm not sure if it could possess people but it had some kind of effect that made it OP or indestructable, can't remember for the life of me.

this reminds me of when I was a kid, one of the reasons I stopped playing yugioh. was at a friend's bday party with a ton of kids I didn't know and we were having yugioh show style rules, meaning if you lose the opponent gets to take one of your cards. this one kid I was beating pretty handily and was about to win, and he asked for one more turn. in my youthful grace (and naivete) I gave it to him... and he summons some piece of shit japanese exodia and claims he won the match. I was sooooooo mad. he took one of the cards I had just won that day (it was that ghost card they had in the show right around that time, this was somewhere in what I assume is the 3rd season where they've having that competition run by the kaiba corp, I'm pretty sure this ghost could possess enemy cards but not positive) and also lost one of the first rare cards I ever got, which was some purple elephant holo (again I can't remember the name and google isn't helping)

I don't like family guy's cheap cutaway setup for jokes, but some of the jokes are really funny.

I remember that time when I was young and up late watching the episode where the mafia is after lois, where the valet guy goes and starts their car which had a bomb planted in it and blows up. peter and lois then walk away, and he goes "and best of all, nobody important got hurt" while the valet guy's vest starts fluttering down from the sky. that scene still amuses me almost as much as that flacco comic

it started on 4chan (they have a board for cartoons) and not that many people cared about it... there were a few that watched it that actually liked it, then the hipsters that watched it ironically, then it kinda escalated. pretty soon both people who liked it and people who didn't started spamming images everywhere around the internet, and it kinda spread virally from there.

i think this is technically the thread that started it all.

all shows have background music if that's what you're talking about, but the guy that does ponies is really really good. the songs for animated shows are usually really shitty but I think these are really good (WINTER WRAP UP WINTER WRAP UUUUUP, there's also a really good one in an upcoming episode)
