Unless this is all I need to do?
Assuming I've found a frame for the pokemon I want:
1. Save in front of the guy
2. Hit Delay
3. Hit Frame
4. Encounter pokemon
This is sorta a simple-minded guess, so I'll be amazed if it's right haha.

Hey, I think I've found a solution to my problem. Because I want a misdreavus, I can change the seed I'm aiming for right? Do you think this would work?

That was on both. It's strange, because it only advances by 2 when I use a synch.

D2140289 is the seed. I'm not using a synch, and trying to hit frame 87, which RNG Reporter says has encounter slot 7, but I'm always getting the pokemon on encounter slot 3.
I can try to organize your Pokemon in the new format. I've never done that, but it sounds like a generally easy task. Just a bit tedious.
I tried on cartridge first, but that didn't seem to yield results so I switched to emulator. I got the same results either way.
No, there is only 1 shiny frame. The only thing that is different to the spread is the pokemon, it doesn't match the encounter slot. I've caught pokemon on other frames of the same seed as well, and the IVs and nature always match up, but the pokemon doesn't. Is it possible that RNG Reporter is wrong?
Hi Winters Zombie, is it possible for a frame to be un-hittable? I'm trying to RNG a misdreavus at Cliff Cave but I always hit frame 88, sweet scenting from 85. When I sweet scent from 84, the resulting pokemon is shiny and with the correct IVs, but its not the pokemon represented by the encounter slot.
try >=30 for the HP IV stat
How's the seed searching going?
I usually don't ask for rights unless it's something that would be high demand. Since this is a custom set, I doubt too many people would want it.

Don't use the Pearl TID/SID combo. I have a Poke in my thread from that cart, but that save file no longer exists. Use either my Platinum or HG.

It would be cool to get one shiny, and one non-shiny if it's not too much trouble. You can find my ID/SID combos in the OP of my thread. You clone the egg, and hatch one on your cart, and I can hatch one on my cart shiny. I can shift them myself.
I usually offer three Pokes/credits for one BP. I only need one Poke atm, so I'll give you a copy of both Victini's for it.
I need a Modest (+SpAtk/-Atk) Tentacool, flawless where necessary for HP Fire 70 (low Atk IV is a plus) with Rapid Spin egg move, and Giga Drain TM. Shiny. -
