Trapping moves in general do not affect ghost types. They are free to switch out no matter what trap is used (Mean look, Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, Magnet Pull etc.)Can Magnezone trap Aegislash? Ghosts are immune to trapping abilities, but Aegislash is a steel type too. Right now on PS Magnezone can trap Aegislash, idk if that's correct.
I've seen my Honedge switch out of a Sand Tomb.Trapping moves in general do not affect ghost types. They are free to switch out no matter what trap is used (Mean look, Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, Magnet Pull etc.)
I'm assuming they can also switch out during Infestation, Fire Spin, Bind and whatnot.
So what I'm getting from this is that PS is wrong...? Since right not Magnet Pull traps Aegislash..Trapping moves in general do not affect ghost types. They are free to switch out no matter what trap is used (Mean look, Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, Magnet Pull etc.)
I'm assuming they can also switch out during Infestation, Fire Spin, Bind and whatnot.
Don't trust PS. There's a lot of wrong mechanics on there, since it's just a simulator (and I don't think it's updated nearly as much as Showdown. We've know about Aegislash being able to switch out of Magnet Pull since like page 20 of this thread.)So what I'm getting from this is that PS is wrong...? So for now, which is the more updated simulator? PO or PS?Don't trust PS. No, Mold Breaker negates any ability that makes the bearer's move not do full damage. That's why Fur Coat's being negated.edit: also Mold Breaker only states that it stops abilities from preventing the attacks, not weaken. I'll test Fur Coat to see what happens soon.
This is something that has been the case since 5th Gen I beleive. Wild Pokemon encounters cannot force you to flee from battle if they are lower level than your active Pokemon. This does not affect their ability to force switches in trainer battles however, as I've been forced to switch plenty of times from Team Flare members using Roar on one of my Pokemon.Um, a Druddigon used Dragon Tail against my Mewtwo and it didn't switch me out.
Details:
I had thrown an Ultra Ball at it that turn.
Mewtwo had Mewtwonite X but was not Mega Evolved.
I'll try it again.
EDIT: Happened again. Different encounter, this time with Blaziken. I'll try it one more time with a non mega.
DOUBLE EDIT: Did not switch out Greninja. However, it DID switch out another Druddigon of the same level (I mean ending the battle). Won't matter here then (except randbats). It must have to do with levels.
I know about the Normal Gem in the Terminus Cave. However, there weren't any Normal Gems used in the Subway in the first place aside from that one Cinccino in normal subway, but I have yet to find it in the Maison since I don't play normal Maison after getting the 20Ws to unlock Super.Normal Gem definitely still exists. I found one in my game. Has anyone else found any differently-typed gems? It wouldn't shock me if Normal Gem were the only one left. Normal attacks aren't super-effective against anything, so they need the boost more.
Nah, Rivalry wasn't affecting. I was fighting different egg groups so it wasn't in affect. That's why the damage from the Rivalry Axew was only 4.Rivalry will affect the damage output though.
Doesn't Rivalry only look at gender, not egg group?Nah, Rivalry wasn't affecting. I was fighting different egg groups so it wasn't in affect. That's why the damage from the Rivalry Axew was only 4.
Mario With Lasers ya haha, I noted that I was wrong with my edit.
In this case Sucker Punch doesn't hit the opponent (the move isn't executed) so it doesn't make contact and there isn't a stat dropDoes using sucker punch against king's shield activate its attack drop effect even though sucker punch fails?
I tested this myself. Aegislash is NOT trapped by Magnet Pull. Can Magnezone trap Aegislash? Ghosts are immune to trapping abilities, but Aegislash is a steel type too. Right now on PS Magnezone can trap Aegislash, idk if that's correct.
Ok so the simulator is wrong for now. Thanks for the clarification.I tested this myself. Aegislash is NOT trapped by Magnet Pull.
Yes, as Klutz completely ignores held items; Assault Vest's hold on status moves won't take effect.Tests I'd like to know:
Can Klutz Lopunny get rid of an Assault Vest via Switcheroo? Or is Lopunny unavailable for now?
we would ideally want to test this to make sure though. However, lopunny isn't available atm so we can't test it.Yes, as Klutz completely ignores held items; Assault Vest's hold on status moves won't take effect.
