Still haven't listened to enough 2013 music because I'm always like two years behind. I'm still listening to everything from 2012... yawn. Favourite songs is a good idea.

ty Renosaur for being the only one keeping me relevant to this year (only slightly joking).

tbh I'm on the same boat as jumpluff so I'm not going to rank the albums as I'd like to listen to some albums I haven't been able to...

Arcade Fire - Reflektor (Reflektor) A lot of people didn't like this album but I really don't know why, it was a change of direction for the band but it isn't worse by any means
Arctic Monkeys - AM (Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?) I liked this one much more than their last 2 albums
CHVRCHES - The Bones of What You Believe (Gun)
Foals - Holy Fire (Inhaler) I liked Blue Blood more but this was still good
Haim - Days Are Gone (Falling)
Laura Marling - Once I Was An Eagle // I honestly feel like I should give this 2 or 3 listens more but I liked it enough the time I gave it a spin
Los Campesinos! - No Blues (What Death Leaves Behind)
Mutual Benefit - Love's Crushing Diamond (Advanced Falconry) I usually need a few listens to enjoy this kind of music but this record just 'clicked' immediately
Nils Frahm - Spaces (Says) Not really sure how I ended up downloading this but I enjoyed it a lot lol
The Royal Concept - Goldrushed (Cabin Down Below) Catchy album, and a pretty nice debut
Vampire Weekend - Modern Vampires of the City (Unbelievers)

I feel guilty for not having listened to The National's album yet. I also have to listen to m b v and Sunbather and some other stuff!

Top 7 Albums of 2013

1. Drake - Nothing Was The Same (Clearly, had great production, lyrics, melodies, and a seemingless transition and can listen straight through)
2 Ariana Grande - Yours Truly (This girl can sing, Album was a mix of soul, R & B, Pop and Hip Hop. The young Mariah Carey over-delivered on her debut album.)
3. Lorde - Pure Heroine ( With a hit as big as Royals, you'd think she'd be a 1 hit wonder. Surprisingly, the then 16, old a great album full of message filled songs.)
4. Beyonce - BEYONCÉ (XO) ( A great album that broke an iTunes record on most sales in a 3 day period. All songs are good to say the least. Well structured.)
5. J.Cole - Born Sinner ( Man what a great album. Every song is relatable no matter your living situation and may I add that he produced every song himself.)
6. Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience ( Enjoyable music no matter what the age group or ethnic background. The closest thing to Michael Jackson today.)
7. Kanye West - Yeezus ( If you get passed the biased fans and listen for yourself, you'll see the amazing production and passion behind Kanye's messages. Good.)
