Not really. It does have work up and everything else, but mixed attacking Lucario is no good. :/Is Lucario still viable as mixed attacker in OU?
Infernape and Kingdra are both pretty nice mixed attackers or are you talking about just steel types? In which no there isn't, not in OU anyways :C Maybe in the lower tiers but I didn't search it.Aww crap.... I miss my Mega Luke Q_Q... is there any good mixed special attacker besides Aegishslah?
Meloetta is decent, as well as Kyurem-Black!Aww crap.... I miss my Mega Luke Q_Q... is there any good mixed special attacker besides Aegishslah?
You have to chain breed Noivern with Archen/Archeops to get Switcheroo on it. Here, this article might help! Good luck. :)How do you get Switcheroo on Noivern, is it chain breed and if so what chain?
Deoxys-S, Aegislash, and Kyurem-B are all great mixed attackers in the current meta. Kingdra, Infernape, and Meloetta have been mentioned, but Kingdra is much better off running fully special sets and Infernape and Meloetta are pretty bad Pokemon in OU in general. The first three I listed are great, though.Aww crap.... I miss my Mega Luke Q_Q... is there any good mixed special attacker besides Aegishslah?
This is a lot of effort, here we go... first ...How do you get Switcheroo on Noivern, is it chain breed and if so what chain?
Thank youThis is a lot of effort, here we go... first ...
1) Capture a Male Inkay and level it up to 23 for it to learn Switcheroo
2) Breed that Male Malamar with a Female Corphish/Crawdaunt to give it the egg move(Switcheroo) Also, make sure that the offspring is a Male Corphish.
3) Breed that Male Corphish with a Female Archen to give it the egg move(Switcheroo) Once again, make sure the offspring is a Male Archen.
4) Breed that Male Archen with a Female Noivern/Noibat and the offspring will produce a ....
Male/Female Noibat with egg move Switcheroo ;D Happy breeding! ^_^
Mehhh maybe Meloetta but Infernape isn't bad in OU judging from usage as well compared to Kyurem-B, not to mention Infernape can throw people of with its wide moveset, Kyurem-B is sort of forced into a mixed/special set since it has no physical Ice STAB that hits hard.Deoxys-S, Aegislash, and Kyurem-B are all great mixed attackers in the current meta. Welcome ^.^Thank you
Usage is a pretty bad measure of viability, especially when there are so many new players on the ladder who don't really know what they're doing. The 1760 stats are at least a decent measure of viability, but if you look at the viability rankings, you'll be able to get a much better idea of what's good in the tier and what isn't. In that thread, Kyurem-B is in the A+ rank while Infernape is in the miserable C rank. You can't really trust the normal usage stats when they have entirely unviable Pokemon such as these:Mehhh maybe Meloetta but Infernape isn't bad in OU judging from usage as well compared to Kyurem-B, not to mention Infernape can throw people of with its wide moveset, Kyurem-B is sort of forced into a mixed set since it has no physical Ice STAB that hits hard.
(Freeze Shock not included >Has to charge :C)
Infernape - #27 in OU | Usage: 6.44428% | Raw count: 386,634 | Weight: 0.470734749096
Kyurem-Black - #49 in OU | Usage: 3.39380% | Raw count: 153,145 | Weight: 0.63676787307
Meloetta - #189 in OU | Usage: 0.32119% | Raw count: 20,375 | Weight: 0.426900924625
Yeah...I can agree on you with that(Meloetta, not in OU)
Welcome ^.^
I guess that is understandable, even still Infernape shouldn't be frowned upon in OU. Same speed as Terrakion and can run multiple moves sets to throw opponents of. Feels nice to hit a Gliscor with HP Ice in OU from Infernape.Usage is a pretty bad measure of viability, especially when there are so many new players on the ladder who don't really know what they're doing. | 45 | Infernape | 4.00994% | 386634 | 6.842% | 314563 | 7.056% |
Kyurem-B is rightfully much higher than Infernape.

I missed one letter :C Sue mePlease know the difference between "of" and "off". :/
It's not the first time you've done that, though :pI missed one letter :C Sue me
Well, you can teach it Close Combat over Quick attack, but it does misses the priority to finish off weakened opponents. Is there any use for a Mega Pinsir without Quick Attack?
I was thinking of breeding it in 3rd Gen so it gets Double Edge, and SD/Double Edge/EQ/CC would be the setWell, you can teach it Close Combat over Quick attack, but it does misses the priority to finish off weakened opponents.
Quick Attack is absolutely necessary and you SHOULD NOT replace it, otherwise don't use Mega Pinsir at all.Is there any use for a Mega Pinsir without Quick Attack?
Use Thrash if you so want a move that's stronger than Return, but don't ditch Quick Attack.I was thinking of breeding it in 3rd Gen so it gets Double Edge, and SD/Double Edge/EQ/CC would be the set
Agreed, Quick Attack is one of the main components of Mega Pinsir. Even though it is not the strongest move, it takes full advantage of Mega Pinsir's ability, Aerilate. This not only changes the type of the move, but it increases the damage by 1.3 and, not entirely sure, gives it STAB. That on it's own makes it easily one of the most powerful priority moves that is guaranteed to do damage, unlike Sucker Punch.Use Thrash if you so want a move that's stronger than Return, but don't ditch Quick Attack.
Agreed, you do not want to get rid of a priority move as strong as Quick Attack (After the other factors are put in, of course) in favor of another move stronger than return. If that is what you want, to use Thrash, remove Return if anything. You need a method of priority in quite a few instances, especially against things that could easily OHKO Pinsir Mega otherwise. All in all, keep Quick Attack, or consider not using Mega Pinsir at all.Quick Attack is absolutely necessary and you SHOULD NOT replace it, otherwise don't use Mega Pinsir at all.

Depends on what goes first. If the Pokemon with Sunny Day brings up the Sun before Surf gets used, then Surf is decreased by the Sun, the same thing applies the opposite way around, if Surf goes while rain is still up it doesn't get decreased and then the Sunny day comes up which will cause it to get decreased in the next turn if used again with the Sun up. ^.^Alright so, I know for a fact that say in a double battle, you have a Pokemon with Swift Swim and a Pokemon that can use Rain Dance; during the turn you use Rain Dance, even if it's before your Swift Swim user moves, Swift Swim will not activate until the next turn. Now, say it's raining in a double battle and you wish to rid the field of the rain with sun, so your Pokemon uses Sunny Day before any other Pokemon moves and your opponent uses Surf: Is Surf's power still boosted by the previous Rain or is it decreased by the current Sun?
