He brought a Fairy-type centered team to combat the opposing Dragon-types. Notably we have Mega Gardevoir, which boasts super effective STAB on all three of the opponent's Pokemon. AOPS' opponent is Redew, a newcomer to the tournament. He'll certainly have to think outside the box to win this match-up. Here we go! The start of the match features AOPS' strongest Pokemon, his legendary Thundurus! It has some great offensive stats and blinding speed to back it up. But how well will it fair against Redew's Sableye, one of the most notoriously devilish Pokemon in the game? Thankfully for Thundurus, it also has Prankster up its sleeve to combat Sableye's best tricks with a quicker Taunt. While Redew failed to accomplish much this round, AOPSUser didn't get much done for ordering second either. Both combatants lost around the same HP and energy... AOPS has the tactical standpoint now of a free switch thanks to U-turn and a taunted Sableye, but this match is far from over.
