  1. Bouffalant

It's not just Jalorda, it can pretty much totally shut down Erufuun too if it isn't packing Toxic. I've been using one on PO lately and it's incredibly cool.
  2. List of Released Dream World Pokemon and Attacks

The picture came out pretty badly this time, I think it should be fine but if you need a better one let me know: http://i.imgur.com/dWmwT.jpg Dream World Kangaskhan Female, ability is Inner Focus. Move set is Leer, Fake Out, Tail Whip and Drain Punch. Also you missed a couple things on the...
  3. List of Released Dream World Pokemon and Attacks

http://i.imgur.com/lveQs.jpg I apologize for the quality, I don't really have access to a reliable camera right now. But... Dream World Doduo. Started with Growl, Quick Attack, Rage, Roost. Ability is Tangled Feet.
  4. List of Released Dream World Pokemon and Attacks

Reporting this on behalf of one of my friends: http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/6849/lickitung.jpg Dream World Lickitung. Started with Lick, Supersonic, Defense Curl and Sleep Talk. Ability is Cloud Nine.
  5. Zebstrika

Yeah, Herbivore's gonna be one of it's best tools without a doubt. If Swampert and Breloom are as prominent as they were in 4th gen, it'd make a good partner for the former and counter for the latter respectively.
  6. Zebstrika

I'm guessing it's unlikely since it's never exactly been a competitive move to begin with, but could Me First have some merit on an Herbivore set? Zeburaika has some pretty nice speed to run it with and at a x1.5 boost to both Zeburaika's Attack and the move itself, it could help deal with...
  7. B&W Research Thread

The opponent having no held item was just an early mistranslation, it's the user. Edit: I've been curious about this one too.
  8. B&W Research Thread

I finally got my hands on a Slakoth and tested it, Mummy does remove Truant. Probably not a huge surprise to anyone at this point, but I hadn't seen it confirmed with 100% certainty so I figured I'd take a shot.
  9. B&W Research Thread

I can second that. I sent a Tabunne to the dream world a while back when I was testing stuff out and it's ability didn't change at all. I don't remember exactly how long it was there, but I didn't realize I had to take it back out right away so it should've been at least half an hour or so...
  10. Slaking

Yeah I'm really interested in the possibilities behind Mummy Slaking, but I haven't seen it tested at all yet. We should really make sure it actually works before we keep going.
  11. Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer - Read FAQ in First Post Before Asking

Does Get Even/Retalitate/Vengeance work in regular battles, or is it just Doubles/Triples? I initially assumed it would be the latter, but one of my friends brought up the possibility that you could switch a Pokemon in and use it for revenge killing in Singles. And do we know how much it's...
  12. B&W Research Thread

Just went and tested it with Rest, moves do not need a target to gain priority under Mischievous Heart. I used a Level 14 Monmen that I caught in the wild against a Level 18 Monmen from a trainer in Huin, and it hit me with Cotton Spore twice early in the match. I tested both Mega Drain and...
  13. B&W Research Thread

If you don't mind a slightly belated question... If it works like this, would Substitute be under any of the categories affected by Mischievous Heart?
  14. B&W Research Thread

I don't know about Entry Hazards, but one of my friends is using Zoroark on his in-game team and Illusion reportedly does not break in Sandstorm. So at the very least, there's some types of damage which don't stop it.
  15. Translating move/ability/item names

A few of the abilities were filled in by Howabe on Gamefaqs yesterday: Cursed Body: When the user faints, the move that KOed them may be disabled. Analyse: Moves are powered up when you attack after the target. Poison Skin: Poisons on contact. Not sure if there's any difference from Poison...
  16. Translating move/ability/item names

Awesome, thanks. This pretty much completes the list, there's one or two I could still be wrong on but I'm pretty certain I have them all: TM 01 - Claw Sharpen - Raises user's Attack and Accuracy - Dark Type. TM 03 - Psycho Shock - 80 BP - 100% Accuracy - Special - Psychic Type - Causes...
  17. Translating move/ability/item names

Alright finally managed to log in, I've been compiling a TM list using the data we have and I may be able to help a little. I'm pretty sure Smooth Over is Ground Leveling. They have a similar meaning and the TM is given to you by Yakon, which would indicate it's a ground move. Troll is almost...
  18. DP Research Thread #1 ("Old")

Just to check... It says that only a few moves have been confirmed to have a boost for Iron Fist. But has it been confirmed that Close Combat DOESN'T have one? Or is that still up in the air?
  19. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

I didn't like this when I first heard it, but thinking about it, this could be pretty cool. TTar may now have become Pokesatan x12, but but I like how it could potentially help a lot of other rock types. Edit: Actually, I forgot about Iron Defense. I think Uber's probably a better idea.
  20. Aragornbird's Art Gallery (UPDATED 12/04)

Doesn't seem to be done yet, so... Would you be able to make me a Dusclops?
