"Fawkes, this fight is ours. I'm sorry I couldn't give you the advantage I was hoping to, but... We can pull through this. We can hit harder than he can. We can take more than he can. And he lacks familiarity: I've known you from when you were but an Egg. So today... Take it to him!"

Next Arena: Final Destination Well, here you finally are. The final trip on your journey, and that of many famous warriors. It's also a prime spot for the competitive nutcases that don't want any interference from the outside, but we'll not talk about that. You're on a flat platform in space where any elements for attacks are provided for you. That's it. Now there's nothing inbetween you and victory, except luck. This is the arena for the remainder of the battle.

"Sorry, can't ref your match, I have a galaxy to save from the Reapers."
"Uh, you need to ref the match you idiot."
"NO"
"I'll give you war assets if you do."
"...Fine."
Welcome back folks, we're here at Final Destination, and End Quote and Simon Says are neck and neck. Who will win? It seems only luck will decide.
Ditto opens up this round with a devastating Shadow Ball that hits Espeon in a soft spot, it's a critical hit. Simon Says seems to have some kind of strategy going on, as he orders Espeon to make a wish for more health. Plenty of stars to wish upon here...
Espeon doesn't seem to like the prospect of a Signal Beam combo, so he absorbs the rays of the nearest star in a Morning Sun. To comply with his trainers orders, Ditto absorbs some of the star's rays himself. Simon may have dodged a bullet there.
Espeon gets the next move again, and decides to spend it by sending a Shadow Ball in retaliation for that piece of hax, which does massive damage to Ditto, who responds in return with a Signal Beam.
I don't know about you guys, but Simon Says' awesome strategy seems to have backfired, he has less health and energy than his opponent.
"Don't forget, Simon has a wish, and he didn't get destroyed by the Signal Beam combo that Ditto was preparing."
"I suppose you have a point there. Now where's my war asset?"
"Oh yeah, that. Well, here you go, fight the Reapers with this herring!
....why are you looking at me with murderous intent..."
"YOU JERK! *chases Volcarona off the stage with a golden hammer*"

IF a Combo involving Signal Beam is used, retaliate with a Shadow Ball + Shadow Ball combination to block the damage and cause a dramatic explosion in the middle of the Arena!
IF a Combo involving Shadow Ball is used, retaliate with a Signal Beam + Signal Beam combination to block the damage and cause a dramatic explosion in the middle of the Arena!
(Yeah...I have no freaking clue on the "correct" way to do this, so here goes nothing.)
And so it ends...
Both pokemon see each other charging up a massive attack, the real Espeon making an Orb of Darkness, and the copy Espeon making a Signal Laser. The attacks collide, and the explosion is so huge that it engulfs both pokemon in a bug and ghost medley. Both pokemon are really hurting from that. But what's this, it seems Espeon's Wish came true! Now Simon Says has a rather lengthy lead over his opponent.
It seems like the win will go to whomever goes first, wait, no it doesn't because Espeon ran completely out of energy after that attack. That means End Quote Wins! (Funny how we went from SS wins, to draw, then to EQ win...)
Just then.
"Well, that's a wrap folks...wait"
*Maxim's Bedroom*
"You mean to tell me that was all a dream?"
Action One Speed Tie: Doesn't matter
Espeon used an Orb of Shadows combo, while Ditto used a Signal Laser combo.
A huge explosion rocked the entire arena, and both pokemon were engulfed.

I'm not in authority, but from what I asked about combos earlier, if commands given are Flamethrower - Combo: Flamethrower + Flamethrower - Cooldown, then the first Flamethrower costs 7 energy and the combo costs (11+15)*2=52 energy. From that, I would say that combos do not count as completely different moves as far as consecutive use energy penalty goes, and that Espeon would faint from energy exhaustion.
It was close, EndQuote. Truly trying. And yeah, I'll agree with Objection on this one. Or, as an alternate, we exploded the arena and it ends with a draw? =]
Sorry, but I think Espeon would faint earlier than that. Energy Cost = (EC + (EC+4))*2
The Energy Cost of Shadow Ball is 6, plus 4 from consecutive move penalty.
(10+(10+4))*2=48
Espeon's only got 41 energy.
Well, apparently you're right, which made my calcs all but useless. You win.
EDIT: Wait a minute...that means the rewards are all screwed up...I'll fix them but I'm not sure how that's going to go down in the Prize Claiming thread...
