Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Episode 5 of my Hard Emerald Scramble is up on Youtube!

Link here.

Sorry it took so long, I had some things happen that made me just not want to do it at all for a bit. I did eventually get back on it though obviously and I do intend to put out the updates regularly again from here on out.

Haha Jimera0, nice going and gratz on finally beating Wattson. That took quite some tries actually. And ... it was quite evident that you were like almost going to give up. Just blame the battle on wild pokemon being piss weak, or you not getting a ground type. :)

You should be expecting this. :3

Garchomp612, take Train the Hoppip. Train honestly believes it hits like a train, don't ask me why. When Train is sent into battle, it must finish the rest of the fight. That's right, it has to solo the Trainer it's fighting. You may evolve into Skiploom at any time, but in order to evolve into Jumpluff it must solo Chuck.

Oh, and hitting like a train means it gets no non-attacking moves. Good luck!

Espeon, are you gonna get to that Slowpoke? =P
Oh crap, sorry! Right now my iPhone is almost dead so you're gonna have to wait a few hours.

Oh screw it. I was going to watch the National Championship with my family but I hate football. Here's your challange:

Take a Slowpoke. This Slowpoke will be named one of the following (choose before you look;if you look at one even by accident, that is your choice!):

Your Slowpoke will evolve into Slowbro! He must solo Whitney to evolve and then solo Koga.

Your Slowpoke will evolve into Slowking! He must solo Whitney and to evolve, must solo the whole Mahogony Rocket hideout (just so you don't evolve him too early (: ). He must also solo Koga.

Okay, I know the nickname won't fit. Just name him BEST EVER. Anyway, your Slowpoke won't evolve! No restrictions besides he must solo a gym leader and 2 E4 pokes.

Okay, so I know this challange is probably pretty easy. If it's too easy, tell me and I'll probably completely rewrite it. I might just add restrictions to whichever one you chose though.

Chapter 3 of my Scramble is below and covers the first Gym along the capture of the fourth Scamblemon.

I wanted to challenge the first gym but the guy at the gym said I need to get approval from the Elder of Sprout Tower. So I stormed out and went to Sprout Tower which apparently was built because of Bellsprout. Poor, poor people. No better Pokemon to build a tower on I guess. The sages here had mostly weak Bellsprouts which I used to train Batman with which his quirk suddenly emerged. It learned Supersonic but refused to use it and kept using Leech Life. After Leech Life couldn’t be used anymore and Supersonic could be used, it still refuse to use it. Eventually it learned Astonish and used that normally but still uses Leech Life every time it fights.

After fighting the sages of Sprout Tower, I ran into the jerk Soul. The Elder criticized Soul for abusing his Pokemon which he didn’t care as he still beat the Elder. I can see why Soul had to steal a Pokemon in order to train because no one would give him a Pokemon. After Soul left, I fought the Elder even though I wasn’t quite ready to do so. Batman took care of the Bellsprouts while Joey managed to defeat the Hoothoot. The Elder praised me for elegantly fighting him and gave me his permission to tackle on the Gym along with the Flash TM.

To satisfy both Joey and Batman, I did some additional training with them before taking on the Gym which I used Quote to face Falkner and his two pupils. Since Falkner is a specialist of Flying Types, his Gym is actually high above the ground and wonder how this structure was supported with apparent lack of anything holding it up. Quote’s Ember was the only thing I needed to defeat the entire Gym with even though I was worried about of losing while facing Falkner’s Pidgeotto with its constant use of Roost. Luckily, I managed to burn it and fell due to the effect. I got the Zephyr Badge along with the Roost TM and able to use Rock Smash outside of battle.

Falkner told me that I should head to Azalea Town for the next Gym but soon as I left the Violet City Gym, Elm calls me. He asks me to head for the Pokemart to pick up the egg that he initially had me to pick up for him. I didn’t want the egg with me and wasn’t going to let Elm to keep using me as an errand boy, so I went to the Pokemart and told the guy off that I didn’t want the egg. My mother used the money I been sending to her to buy a Super Potion and sent it to me. I trained Joey to use Rock Smash and went to the Dark Cave. While smashing some rocks, I encountered a Dunsparce. I heard that they were rare and thought it would be cool to have one. I managed to catch it and looked a bit depressed and thus named it Depressed the Dunsparce. As I head back to Violet City to heal Dunsparce, I encountered a Caterpie which I had Depressed out and rather weak. Suddenly Batman emerged from its ball and saved Dunsparce from the Caterpie. I guess Batman is definitely like the legendary hero its named after.

Quote the Level 13 Gentle Male Cyndaquil - Jiimera0
Current BP Limit: 90 (+25 from soloing Falkner's Gym)

Opinion: Quote didn't see much action except for Falkner's Gym which it manage to solo the entire Gym. It almost didn't solo Falkner when Pidgeotto's Gust got Quote down to the red but the Burn status managed to KO it. The BP limit isn't too bad but keeping Quote's level in check is a bit of a problem as it managed to overtake Batman of being second-highest even with the buffer I had.

Current Moves:
Quick Attack (40 BP)
Leer
Smokescreen
Ember (60 BP)

Joey the Level 14 Rash Male Rattatta - Recec
Ability: Guts
Rattattas solo: 18/20

Opinion: Joey was mostly used just to keep the level req current. It has Rock Smash now and has a good coverage of moves against various Pokemon. There are some Rattata trainers coming up and will be able to fulfill the Rattata solo req and be able to evolve to Raticate.

Current Moves:
Rock Smash
Bite
Quick Attack
Pursuit

Batman the Level 13 Mild Male Zubat - Present
Ability: Inner Focus

Opinion: Most of the chapter was devoted to level up Batman to meet his level req. Just having Leech Life as the only move it could use against Falkner's Gym meant it could not solo that Gym. But with Bite now, it has better coverage.

Current Moves:
Leech Life
Supersonic (unusable)
Astonish
Bite

Depressed the Level 5 Male Lax Dunsparce - inanimate_blob
Ability: Serene Grace

Opinion: Currently its moves consists of two Normal type moves but with the TM/HM I have now, I can bring the types up to three with Roost and Rock Smash. I haven't encountered a Sirtrus Berry yet so that req doesn't come into play at the moment.

Current Moves:
Rage
Defense Curl

The next Scramblemon is coming soon and going to require a bit of grinding for it. I'm not looking to it at all. Depressed will grind for a bit to keep up with rest of the party.

It's been a long time, but after losing every chapter I had written, I finally got the motivation to start documenting the Blue Scramble that I asked for almost a year ago. I'm not even sure if the people who assigned me my Pokemon are still around here, but the update is posted in the main post for this Blue Scramble, here.

I still need a few more Pokemon for my Black 2 scramble! I currently have Bzzzzzt/Zap the Magnemite (Present, would you mind if I removed a z from the name? I don't want to solo too many leaders with it), Swan Lake the Ducklett, and LastEffort the Vullaby.

(Recycling, improving, making a challenge even worse...)

King of Sushi, take GneolautIV the ____. Fill in the blank with whatever pokemon you want.

Solo an E4 member with GneolautIV, and solo the trainers (but not the leader) in a Gym of your choice.

Choose two of the following restrictions:

-- Never have any of your pokemon use STAB moves (unless otherwise required).
-- Never evolve GneolautIV (if the pokemon can evolve), never let GneolautIV be healed in battle (if the pokemon cannot evolve).
-- Never use Fly nor any HP-healing item other than Potion and Super Potion on any of your pokemon.
-- Never let GneolautIV use moves that don't directly deal damage (so no Toxic, Confuse Ray, etc.)

GneolautIV's restrictions are whichever two you didn't choose!

Hi, guys. I'm interested in doing a Scramble Challenge for Black 2. -No trading. -I don't want my starter Pokemon in my final team. I also don't want any Psuedo-Legendary or Legendary Pokemon. -I don't want my challenge to be too difficult, but I don't want it to be really easy either. (Also, I wasn't able to complete my SoulSilver challenge since I can't find my copy of it for some reason :
King of Sushi, you get Confused the sewaddle.

Confused, as the name implies, is very confused. It thinks it is a leaf, therefore it must get razor leaf ASAP and always use it at the start of every battle. It also cannot use any bug-type moves, since it is just a leaf. You can evolve to swadloon whenever, but to evolve into leavanny, it must solo 20 of the bugs who will try to eat a simple leaf such as itself (These only count while it is a swadloon). It must also get and keep protect when it evolves into swadloon. Razor leaf can be deleted for leaf blade once 30 moves have been protected against. You can then replace protect at this time as well.

(You can reject if you're disappointed with this challange, since it's my first given, but good luck if you take it!!)

I noticed that King Serperior had reserved a post for your Scramble, King of Sushi. If he doesn't give you a Scramblemon soon, then I got one for you.

King of Sushi, I'll give you a scramble in just a bit. I'm just modifying a scramble I gave before in a heartgold scramble to black 2 (I think people around for a longer time should realize where I'm going).

Ok King of Sushi, I had to leave this morning but here is your challange, modified for black 2!

Take sunshine the sunkern. Sunshine loves sunshine, but it confuses all kinds of light with sunshine! In order to evolve, it must solo 5 fire type pokemon (wild or not) before the 4th gym. As soon as it is possible to learn sunny day as a sunkern or sunflora then do so and you can not forget it. There is a problem with sunkern/sunflora though, because sunshine spends too much time in the sunshine, he has sucked in too much fiery light and is weak to water attacks. This means that if there is a water type pokemon switching in or in at the start, then Sunshine must switch out. He must evolve before the fourth gym (There is a house above the pokemon centre in Nimbasa City that has an sun stone on the top floor, a man gives it to you) and as mentioned before, having first solo'd 5 fire type pokemon. Anyway, one final restriction, Sunshine must always know a draining attack, so absorb, giga drain or mega drain and hold either the big root or the heat rock ASAP. All of these restrictions apply to it when it is a sunflora, plus the fact it needs to know a move that involves roots like grass knot or ingrain until after Clay, just for fun!

Edit: Edited out about Chuck because of Mr. Pedantic! :P

Forgot to modify the "Chuck" part. What do you mean by that, Celever?

By the way, speaking of BW 2, I'm working on Chapter 3 of my own Scramble.

My randomly selected pokemon challenge end in failure (All of them stopped listening to me after Gym 1, ungrateful mons...), so I'm planning on doing a Scramble run of Platinum

- Pokemon Platinum
- I can trade from HG and Diamond
- A medium level of difficulty
- A balanced team? Oh, who am I kidding?
- Each pokemon has to be nicknamed.
- A starter also needs to chosen.

I'll hopefully be able to update every once in a while with news on the run.

Additional information in [].
Ok, you get Sandy the Chimchar!
Sandy loves weather. He smiles when it rains, he laughs when it snows! There is a horrible excuse of happy weather though, and this is sandstorms. Unfortunately, as a Chimchar he was scarred for life when his friend Charmander's tail was put out by a sandstorm! :( This makes Chimchar feel he is in an endless sandstorm! He saw Charmander's fiery tail snuffed by the sand - what if that happens to him!? He can never stay more than 2 turns in a battle because of this fear! [At the start of the game, before you get your first other scramble-mon, you will have to leave him in for over 2 turns, however he may not evolve until this condition has taken use for 6 levels, so it might be wise to run from the wild battles] However, as Chimchar gets older he believes he can brave the sandy weather, so he may not evolve before level 17, because evolving at level 14 is just madly cowardly! When he evolves, he believes that he is safe from sand-storms, and the child-hood trauma has been over-ruled by the excitement of the future. At the end of his Chimchar-ish life, his friend Delibird got knocked out of the sky, his friend Qwilfish almost drowned in the rain and his friend Flareon tried to use flare blitz in the sun, but had huge recoil without dealing much damage. So when he evolves you must re-name him either rainy, snowy or sunny A.S.A.P, and without looking you must choose either rainy, snowy or sunny and get the restrictions for the one you pick. No changing your mind!

Rainy:
Thought you were being clever and thinking I tricked you into having rainy the best? Well, if you picked this then you probably thought Sunny would be the worst, and you would be right! However, Snowy is the best by far, with but 2 restrictions! Rainy the Monferno is afraid of rain, water attacks and everything vaguely related to water... like ice! So, if Rainy is hit with a water or ice type move, he must switch out. He must always be the last pokemon in your party if it is raining out and can never be used in battle if rain is in use. Any pure-typed (so a pokemon that has 1 type, not 2) pokemon with the secondary typing of a water type introduced in generation 1 must make Rainy switch out. These types are: Poison, Fighting, Psychic and Flying! Also, as an added challange, must be the lead in your party against every gym leader because of your choice, including Crasher Wake, even though against Crasher Wake he will almost definitely have to switch out first go. Rainy is not allowed to die on these solo's. If he does, then you must reset your game (so you should definitely save the game before each gym battle) and try the battle again.

Sunny:
Ha ha! You thought you were better off picking the sunny choice for a fire type? Wrong! I can tell you, now that you have chosen which weather your Monferno is, that this will have the most and the most severe restrictions, whereas snowy is the best. Monferno was rattled by his friend's Flareon failure to pull off a flare blitz, so he can't use any fire type moves! He also can't use any moves with a higher BP of 65 - including STAB, however, for some reason sunny feels he is also a normal type, and as such can not use feint!! Moves of eligible moves (moves you can use, to be clearer):
Mach punch
Fury swipes
Rock smash
Rock tomb
Aerial ace
Cut

Sunny must be sent out into every final pokemon against a gym leader! If Sunny faints to this pokemon then you will have to reset and so you should save before every gym leader battle. You also can not switch out when against the final pokemon. Oh, solo whichever gym leader you solo whichever leader you challenge last, Maylene or Crasher Wake! As an Infernape, he can use every move except close combat.

Snowy:
Wow! Your deducing skills are incredible! As you may have figured out, the sunny option is the worst, but you even saw my double-trick and went for Snowy instead of Rainy, who is the second worst, but also second-best! Anyway, Snowy the Monferno loves it when it hails, but doesn't like it when it gets too cold! This means that any ice moves make it either switch out, or use a fire move to warm up, however if he is hit with ice twice in a row then he must switch out! Because of your amazing deducing skills, you get only one more challenge on Snowy, which is that as a Monferno, he must solo every pokemon that had a different secondary type to ice but had ice as it's primary type introduced in generation 1! So you must solo every Psychic and Flying type! This does not count for Lucian, as he is horribly hard a solo could be impossible, however you get to solo one of his pokemon!

Ok, as an infernape you must keep the previous restrictions entirely (except for the restriction specified as lifted when he evolves) but also this: Solo 1 elite four member for whichever weather you picked - but don't solo Lucian - just don't. (Expects Aaron solo, no doubt it will be! :P)

Chapter 2 of my HeartGold Scramble Challange!

===⇔===⇔===

I have not, and probably will never, finish the Pokémon bio for chapter one, because of technical difficulties involving my 3DS' text limit. Someday I shall paste chapter one in this post using my actual computer, but for now I cannot even finish the other Pokémon's rules.
Without further ado, I present chapter 2!

===⇔===⇔===

I quickly set off, but then halted complety by Lyra. She decided to show me how to catch Pokémon, which was a godsend for me, as I was eager to acquire Doomed, my Geodude. Thankfully Doomed's various restrictions would not be enabled until he gets his first self-damaging move, and I would easily be able to crush Falknor with him. Right after Lyra was finished, and I checked my bag to make sure she actually had given me Pokéballs, I proceeced over to the route that I had seen Geodue last. I realized that I was only going to be able to catch this Geodude by exercising 7D Sins' Lust ranking, and the moves leer and smokescreen that implies the usage of. First I spammed smokescreen until I was invulnerable, then leered until I could damage it. This strategy worked rather well, and I caught Doomed within my first Pokéball.
Rushing to the Pokécenter to heal my new Pokémon, I decided to Poké through the tall grass to train doom. There I learned the true depths of 7D Sins' lust. 7D Sins is male. Over 90% of the Pokémon I found were female. After switching 7D Sins into the eighth female pidgey, I realized how annoying this was getting, and moved on. I hoped my Cyndaquil could make himself seem less useless at bellsprout tower, healed my Pokémon one last time, and headed north.
Every trainer on the route was male, as were thier Pokémon. I don't think I even got 7D Sins out. It was a rather uneventful route. As I walked into the next town, Lyra gave me the Vs. Seeker and told me she would stay ahead of me. It took me around five minutes to slaughter everyone in bellsprout tower, and I saved right after a presumptuous man told me to come to his Pokémon school.

And Chapter 2 part 2!

Up and ready to fight Falknor's gym, I instead decided to explore the Ruins of Alph. I solved the rather easy Kabuto puzzle, then dropped down into the Unown infested depths, leaving after encountering these varieties of Unown: EIEF. Perplexing, but it must mean something. Eat Indian Egg Frogs? Maybe the Unown are dyslexic.
After leaving the ruins and mucking about in route 32 for a short while, I healed up and ran into the gym to challenge Falknor. Then I came right back out, having battled not even one full team. Rock throw proved to be my most effective move, while Falknor's was sand attack.
Leaving the gym, I was stopped at route 32 by the same man who had stopped me earlier, but for a different reason. I returned to the Pokémart as per his request, and politely declined the scientist's offer of the Togepei egg. Unfortunately, the man blocking my path was rather insistent on me getting the egg, so I begrudgingly set off, with the hope that it would at least make a decent HM slave.
I managed to get past him without too much trouble, and continued on down route 32, beating up the local fauna as I went. With another phone number within my belt, I shakily stepped out onto a field of tall grass... then turned around and took the pier road. Seeking to acquire a fishing rod, I took out my most cute Pokémon (7D Sins), and politely got the man's attention, to which he responded with a Magikarp to the face. I had my Cyndaquil fend off the horde, and by the end he had gained enough experience from fish flapping around near him that he managed to become the next level. However, since this happed after he beat the Magikarp Master, his sin counter is still at 5.

Pokémon bios

7D Sins the Quilava ~lvl 15
Moves: Quick attack, Leer, Smoke screen, Ember.

Doomed the Geodude ~lvl 14
Moves: Tackle, Defense curl, Rock throw, Rock polish.

I started my FR scramble. Unfortunately, I got problem with audio recording so I'm going to take pics of the relevant moments of the story (yeah I could record only the video and put some background music, but I thought it a bit too late)

Scramblemons:
- Kirby the Jigglypuff
Kirby is the cute puffball hero of the planet Popstar, with the ability to absorb power from foes he defeats. As such prior to evolving he will need to absorb powers from a pokemon of each of the 16 types (16 due to not being able to encouter dark pokemon in FR/LG prior to the end of the game). Kirby is also deathly afraid of the dark and can thus not be sent out at all in the dark cave. Finally due to his deepseated sense of duty and justice Kirby must solo any and all matches against Giovanni

- Snake the Ekans
take an Ekans called Snake (original name, isn't it) --> so your version is Fire Red. Snake can only learn level up moves, and when evolved, cannot learn moves anymore. Snake is a really venomous snake and can evolve after poisoning 50 pokemon (not wild). Snake hates birds, as some of them are able to eat him. It therefore wants to SOLO any and all trainer-owned flying types you come across. That will force you have to solo 3 pokemon from lance and 3 from your rival, so I will leave the challenge at this (and one from Agatha)

- War the Meowth
Take War the Meowth. War believes in violence to the extreme, and as such may only use Physical attacks (the Gen 3 ones). That means as soon as possible, no Special or Status moves in its moveset. Now, here is the crossroads at Level 28 [...] you chose to evolve it into a Persian. Rename it from "War" to "Peace". Peace the Persian had a drastic change in heart upon evolving, and as such doesn't believe in physical violence anymore. Suddenly, Peace can only learn Special and Status moves, no Physical. Peace's moveset must change to this new restriction as quickly as possible. Oh, and solo an Elite Four member of your choice. :)

- Nuke the Charmander
Nuke likes to wreck things with raw power, especially fire power, & nothing will get in the way of stopping it. Nuke must learn all attacking moves at all times. Nuke must then solo a Gym Leader without using Metal Claw to evolve into Charmeleon. After evolution, Nuke then starts becoming more focused towards offence, & you may no longer switch Nuke out of battle while it is on the field unless it faints, or another Pokémon has to solo something. Have Nuke solo another Gym Leader to evolve. Finally, as a Charizard, it becomes so focused on detonation, that you may no longer run or use Items while Nuke is on the field, in addition to the no switching out rule. Furthermore, the attacking moves it uses must exceed 90 BP excluding STAB. Have Nuke solo at least 5 Pokémon in the Gym League.

- Calamitous the Geodude
You get Calamitous the Geodude. This geodude has the nasty habit of never finishing anything it starts. However, He is very outgoing and wants to be a major part of your team. As such, he wants to solo each gym, but gets distracted by the time you get to the gym leader (You must fight each gym trainer with Calamitous, but he may not fight the gym leader). Also, he may fight but may not KO any pokemon in the elite four. If he knocks out a pokemon you must reset. Same rules apply to rival fights. You also may not evolve him into a golem

- Gneolaut the Gastly
Manitary, take Gneolaut the ____. Fill in the blank with whatever pokemon you want. (I used a random number generator and got Haunter dex number, so I picked Gastly)
Choose two of the following restrictions:
-- Never use STAB moves.
-- Never evolve (if the pokemon can evolve), never be healed in battle (if the pokemon cannot evolve).
-- Never use Fly nor any HP-healing item other than Potion and Super Potion
-- Never use moves that don't directly deal damage (so no Toxic, Confuse Ray, etc.)
The final, absolutely brutal restriction]Gneolaut's restrictions are whichever two you didn't choose!
I picked the last two, so thanks to the final restriction Gneolaut won't neither evolve nor use STAB moves
The adventure begins, it's time to leave home! (but first, remember to take the potion stored in the pc :p)

The tall grass can hide wild pokémon, prof. Oak just saved me from this risk and now offer me my first pokémon between Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle

I'll pick Charmander: he's a male one, I'll call Nuke...he has really a great fighting attitude!

Also Feebas got a pokémon and now wants to fight, he chose Squirtle to have a type advantage against me...I'll always defeat him neverthless, of course

After a very close battle, Nuke proved to be strong as I thought

Time to do commission for Oak, here's the item he asked me to take

A nice surprise after taking him it, he has a Pokédex for me! (and for Feebas, too)

Daisy is different from her brother, she wanted to help me too giving me a town map.

An old man wants to teach me how to catch pokémons...he was lucky to take that Weedle without damaging him indeed!

Crappy trainers want to stop me from going to the next city (the previous gym was closed, I don't know why), but all they have are crappy bugs and Nuke really loves to burn them in flame!

First gym! Nuke is alone in my team so he'll have to do all the job...let's go!

The first trainer hasn't Rock or Ground attacks, it's easy for Nuke to take him down

Now, heal up with a potion and let's prepare to defeat Brock! It won't be easy I think.

This Geodude is weak as the trainer's one...he knows only Tackle! After a Growl he doesn't fear Nuke and get worn down by Ember.

A level up mid-battle is always welcome!

Onix is really dangerous: with Rock Tomb he can really hurt Nuke and slow him down! He can 2HKO him at any moment, but Nuke can Growl to reduce incoming damage and it seems that he really likes burning things: very nice and useful to weaken enemy Rock and Ground attacks.

First Badge obtained!!

After this solo with only Ember (and Growl too), Nuke feels the power and...evolve!

Time to go to the next gym. I was told that it has many Water-type pokémons so Nuke may need support despite being so powerful...

Black Screen: 1. I got defeated once by Brock due to a critical Rock Tomb when Onix was at -2. The burn helped really in the second try!
Running Shoes are always appreciated

Time to get some team members! First comes Kirby, a Jigglypuff knowing only Sing...he will require some grind.

Inside Mt.Moon I find Calamitous, with the right training she will become quite powerful despite being Modest

A nerd wants to fight, after the obvious loss he leaves me one of the fossil. Too bad I don't need it but anyway it's an offer I can't refuse, I'm guessing how much money I can get from it.

Here's Snake, she needs immediate training since she must fight every flying pokémon which belong to a trainer! (and 50 trainer pokémon poisoned to evolve, too)

A wild Feebas appears, time to fight!

Pidgeotto was only tedious because of Sand Attack, Abra OP with that Teleport lol, and Squirtle couldn't do any damage to Nuke with his weak Bubble. Snake has started her poisoning quest, too.

Nugget Bridge: a Nugget can be sold for high price, so these trainers are welcome.

After getting the prize, I'm offered to join Team Rocket...of course I can't join a criminal organization so it seems I've to fight again

I would become a top leader of Team Rocket? They can't be much dangerous then :/

Snake lerans Glare! A really nice support move indeed.

Feebas told me about Bill, but there's a human-speaking Clefairy...better follow his instruction.

Nice guy, also he gave me a ticket for S.S.Anna :D But first, to the Gym!

Calamitous, despite being Modest, wants to be a great pokémon in my team...I'll let her prove herself by fighting the first trainer in the gym even with type disadvantage.

Now it's Misty turn. I'll try starting with Nuke: if he can defeat her, he will feel even more powerful and more prone to evolve; but Misty has Water-type pokémon so it won't be easy, and also Calamitous is terribly weak to them...let's see.

Nuke could easily take care of Staryu, it had time only to Harden and Recover before dying to a critical Slash.

Starmie is just too strong, Nuke wasn't able to take more the one Water Pulse and just scratch the enemy before fainting. It was time for Kirby to shine, sacrificing himself to get a Disable on Water Pulse to make Calamitous finish the work since Starmie hadn't any other Water attack!

Second Badge obtained!
There isn't much to say but some news:
War joins the party (for now the only utility was PickUp, she found a Rare Candy at lvl13!)

On the S.S.Anna who can I find if not Feebas? A quick and easy win

The captain isn't feeling very well...at least he gave me Cut HM after few rubbings

And now the gym...quite easy since now Calamitous can steamroller everything

and also evolved

I also made Nuke defeating Lt.Surge alone...only Raichu gave him some problems due to Double Team and paralysis but nothing can stop him! Now he's ready to evolve again

Last but not least, a strange man gave me a ticket to buy a Bicycle at Cerulean City...nice since they cost so much.

After teaching Cut to War I'm ready to walk to the next gym!
Damn I lost all the screenshoot of the Rocket Hideout part! By the way, it has been pretty easy at least until the final battle against Giovanni: the first solo of Kirby. Sing + Rollout spam is a nice combo supported with Super Potion that took care of both Onix and Rhyhorn despite the resistance, but against Kangaskhan...no way! Fake Out crit or a Mega Punch when Kirby is at -2 mean a OHKO and he doesn't do enough damage to get the kill before he wakes up (iirc Kangakhan has Early Bird so that could be the problem). At the end I managed to win teaching Brick Break to Kirby and using one of each X Attack and X Defend while Onix was asleep, and Brick Break 2-3HKOs everything. (btw, both Nuke and Snake evolved probably during the grind to level up Kirby and Rocket Hideout exploration)
After obtaining Silph Scope, it's time to go to Pokémon Tower. Of course the first person I meet is Feebas

His team is underleveled so it was easy to beat him. Here are Snake and Calamitous in action: I forgot about Synchronize on Kadabra, and despite the lucky burn Calamitous still kill the Growlithe and Selfdestruct in face of Wartortle ending the match.

Before leaving, he told me about pokémon in the tower, saying that he found Cubone but not Marowak

On the way to reach the top of the tower I catch my last team member, but near the final stairs a strange ghost appears: the Silph Scope reveals that she's a Marowak...a ghost Marowak or what?

She couldn't even touch the newly arrived Gneolaut, and disappeared instead of fainting

On top of the tower there are some members of the Team Rocket and man probably imprisoned by them

After freeing him he takes me to his house and gives me a PokéFlute

It seems exatcly what I need to wake up the Snorlax blocking the path to Fuchsia City and "remove" him

Gym Time! Calamitous is truly a monster: after one hit, the next Rollout one shot everything on the way.

Now I'm going to face Koga

Well, if he's master of the poison than Gneolaut is the master of sleep and confusion

I'm sure I lost other pics -_-' however, I turned back to Celadon City now that Calamitous leveled up a bit since x4 weakness to grass could hurt him. Ok, seeing the attacks they use I could do this gym a lot of time ago >_> only Erika's pokémon (since they are evolved at least) could cause problems but there's Nuke so it was a free badge.
Saffron City is in the hands of Team Rocket, so let's prepare for others Rattata-Raticate-Zubat-Golbat-Drowzee-Grimer-Koffing battles. As if that were not enough, there is Feebas to hinder my way...I lost also this pics but it wasn't a really interesting battle, since the only possible trouble is Blastoise since I still haven't super effective attacks or Water-resistant pokés but he's pitifully weak!
The real battle is against Giovanni, of course. This time Brick Break won't help me since he has a Nidorino and a Nidorina, and Dig do sooooo low damage on Nidorino. And there's Fake Out-Mega Punch Kangaskhan again. Solution: tutor Thunder Wave thanks to a women in the building, Ice Beam from the Casino and some X Defend/Special.
TWave is optimal to cut down damage taken and take time for some X Defend, which are necessary to avoid big damage from Horn Attack (and from Mega Punch too!)

Here's how powerful is Kirby: that's the damage of Ice Beam. Better use one or two X Special <.<

Timid nature and pityful attack stat don't help, after 2 X Special Ice Beam is definitely better to take down Kangaskhan. Rhydon was obviously OHKO'd

Silph director is grateful for my actions, and wants to reward me...to bad that Master Ball can't be sold :<

Saffron Gym is quite easy for Calamitous, with few expections like a surprising Magical Leaf Mr. Mime! The other trainers were easy since now she learned EARTHQUAKE! Since Sabrina use pokémon quite fast and specially oriented I preferred to take them down with Nuke. The only one that resisted one hit was Alakazam.

Wild pokémon and gym trainers' ones are underleveled so I've no interest in talking about them since Calamitous only need to spam EQ/Rollout. The only thing that need mention is a really really short trip to Seafoam Islands to find a Dewgong for Kirby (so now I miss only Steel and Dragon). Let's go straight to the Gym Leaders' battle.
First is Blane's turn. Burn Heal? I've something better ;)

After 2 X Attack (to fix the -2 Attack drop from Growlithe and Arcanine), Calamitous misses the last Rollout against Rapidash that gets a lucky burn, but...surprise!

EQ for the KO and the badge

The last Gym Leader is Giovanni...argh what a pain!

Let's go! The first pokémon is a Rhyhorn: I'm going to use all the X Defend I have (3) now when the damage taken is still manageable. Remembering Kirby's power in the last battle, better use some X Special too (1 or 2 I don't remember). I get a lucky freeze against Nidoking, unneeded but always welcome since both him and Nidoqueen can only 3HKO with EQ, and Dugtrio isn't a problem because he's frail.

On the road to the League the first person I meet is, guess who, Feebas. He deserves little to no mention since Alakazam used only Future Sight, Blastoise fainted to Calamitous and Rhyhorn couldn't defeat Nuke.

Comments (update everytime I proceed with the game):
Nuke: the best pokémon, STAB Ember deal good damage even when resisted (2HKO on Misty's Staryu), and he's only 5 levels away from Flamethrower. -- Now has a Charizard the only move he can use is Flamethrower...but who really care since it's a 95BP STAB? Unfortunately he's the only party member that can learn Fly
Kirby: he sucks almost always, but when Sing or Disable doesn't miss he changes the game. Bonus point for the Disable on Water Pulse against Misty's Starmie, I would have been defeated w/out it I think. Now he has Rollout and DoubleSlap: the first is quite strong but the accuracy and locking effect are no good, the second is a more reliable STAB attack that can be quite surprising when it hits many times since every hit can crit. -- He's a bit better now, I taught him Brick Break to battle against Giovanni since I want to keep Water Pulse for War, and Shock Wave to kill the Ghost needed to evolve...things will be better when I'll have enough money to buy some TM like Ice Beam and similar.
Calamitous: I really miss Sturdy gen5 buff, she get OHKO'ed by most Water or Grass attacks, but shines when facing other types thanks to Rock Tomb and Magnitude. Cons: she's modest! >.< -- When not facing powerful special pokés she's still great and STAB Rollout after the first hit has enough power to destroy everything (I'll probably teach her Rock Slide, though)
Snake: at first I thought she could be good but then I realized she couldn't learn moves besides level-up ones...oh god. When I'll get rid of Poison Sting (the only way to poison things because she's Intimidate and not Shed Skin), there seem to be two options: Wrap/Bite/Glare/Acid (Wrap + paraflinch and a "strong" STAB with 40BP that omg can lower defense) and Bite/Glare/Stockpile/Spit Up (for more power, Bite is for Ghosts and Glare is just needed) -- I'm still uncertain in choosing the moveset for her...Glare and Bite are "must have" but idk what's better...maybe I'll mix and go for Stockpile+Acid
War: never used for now, I put Cut but he had only three attacks so I have to wait to replace Bite. idk if choosing to evolve her is a good thing or not, since many moves she learns are normal-type but also she's access to TBolt and Water Pulse, I may also try something gimmick with Toxic-Protect-Swagger-Taunt-Torment-Attract...let's see
Gneolaut: yeah I really miss STAB Shadow Ball + Sludge Bomb combo, but he really doesn't need them! He has Hypnosis/Confuse Ray/Dream Eater (100BP+heal)/Curse and doesn't need anything else.

Addiethunder, you haven't been getting many challenges, but I do not have much time, so you take HM Slave the Bidoof. From ASAP onwards, Bidoof can only use Hm's. He has to go through them in order, so move 1--> move 2--> move 3--> move 4--> move 1. Only Hm's count, but four have to be learned asap. HM Slave can never leave your party. It wants to be more than your slave. Soooo .... Solo Cyrus in the distortion world.

AddieThunder, take AngerPoint the Eevee. Aren't you glad someone gave you an Eevee? Don't be. You may evolve it whenever you want, but upon evolution it may never learn any move that Eevee cannot learn by level up or by TM. It must be obtained in Hearthome City.

Pokemon White Scramble

Hi, yall

I want to do a Pokemon White Scramble.
I need 5 pokemon as I will be starting with Oshawott(although it would be nice if you guys could recommend a nickname). Please don't make it too hard but I still want it to be hard.

Thanks,
FlapJack :)

Supermerci for the Pokemon thus far!

So my team is currently:
- Sandy the Chimchar
- HM Slave the Bidoof (Awesome! All DPPt runs should at least have one standard Bidoof!)
- AngerPoint the Eevee

The team is looking really good so far and once again thanks for the challenges!

@FlapJack:
You get Harp the Minccino! Harp likes to sing and dance, but annoyingly also likes to slap! If someone falls asleep while Harp is singing, then it's a slap to the face!

To Summarize:
- Harp the Minccino
- It must always know Sing
- Two of it's moves must be slap based! (Aka DoubleSlap, Tail Slap, Wake-Up Slap)
- It's final move must be a voice move (Echoed Voice or Hyper Voice)
- To evolve into a Cinccino, it must preform 10 Sing+Wake-Up Slap combos.

If you have any question just ask and Enjoy your Run!
