prescription drugs are fun

i recently got my hands on some modafinil (generic provigil) and its proved to be an amazingly pleasant stimulant - one tab gives a rush of energy comparable to adderall minus the shitty comedown afterwards, and none of the jitters or nervousness caffeine brings on. two tabs and i sped through homework and found myself with more time than i knew what to do with. three tabs put me into a sort of trance of absolute and unadulterated focus, coupled with a rush of motivation that ive felt maybe once or twice before in my life; quadruple dose is pretty much an all afternoon all night party - ive been up almost 48 hours now and havent even begun feeling even remotely tired. i could compare it to NZT from that movie limitless - that's what this is like. i feel invincible.

i should probably stop before i make a habit of this though

Yes you should. I usually don't speak out against personal choices like drinking and weed, but I must point out here that these are "prescription only" for a reason. Unlike harmless ol' weed these do carry significant side effects. Not to mention god forbid if you develop a natural resistance against the drug, and there comes a time when you need it for real.
 
xenu how old are you? if you are sub-18 I would advise against developing a serious drug habit. soul fly, cannabis is also a prescription drug, as is thc in the form of marinol. "prescription" is a meaningless designation to users
 
fuck the system

spent saturday and today at some friend's friend's house kinda close to the beach and the weed wouldn't stop. the smoking room's air got really dense at some points.

i dont know what to say aside from it was p fun

Only because it's illegal but they wanted to keep it medically legal for it's inane sedative properties which benefited cancer/malignant tumour patients. Hence the 'prescription' status.

That and the fact that weed usage hasn't been recorded to have any dangerous side effects apart from addiction and overuse.

Yeah but that's not the point, he's just saying prescription doesn't mean dangerous (or anything else for that matter [besides prescription]). He's just using weed as a random example.

Also saying "alcohol is a personal choice that I won't speak out against", seconds before saying you shouldn't mess with scripts is really not consisten. Alcohol is fucking gnarly. Much more abusable and dangerous then some random sleep aid.

i'm just a few months under 18, but yeah i'm consciously being wary of developing a habit; still, modafinil is possibly the least addictive, both psychologically and physically, of the stimulants, so this was more an experiment than a gateway into a long-term habit. thanks for the concern though, i'm probably not gonna touch the stuff for a while now (and i'm out, anyway)
 
I lied, i do weed, ever since i visited a friend o mine in France the center heart of weed usage in Europe
i swear to god that the percentage of people smocking weed in Paris is 70% more than the half of college population has smocked weed at least one time, weed is easily accessible that you can find even in packaging ! police wont harm even if you curry 10 grams !
its like weed isn't even illegal, i prefer cooking it though cause i am an inexperienced smoker and i am coffin all the time I've tried many kinds of weed like
the Afghan god the American dream ,kryptonite ,crystal weed and many others
my parents have their own problems they don't care or they don't know,

i noticed that THC isn't really addictive or has brain corrupting consequence it's just a nice new experience i do get depressed though after a big break from weed witch makes me worry a little about it the last few months.

I find the courage to type this knowing that most of you are 17-22 y.o, western, do leave in city (most of you) so the chances are that most of you have tried at least tried weed once in your life are really high.

a fare price ?
220 euros is about 300 $ with rough calculations.

Are you going to smoke 2 ounces of weed? that's a shit ton of weed to have around if you aren't selling. $300 sounds suspiciously low for two ounces of good weed, but if it's 300 per ounce that makes a lot more sense.
