OK, first, Dratini send a Dragon Pulse and Ice Beam towards Monohm!

Then dive into the water of the moat to escape further damage!

Gastly, make some fried fish out of Tirtouga with Thunderbolt, and if he goes into the water, just hit the water and zap him!

Then Burn the little turtle with a W-o-W, and finish it up by lulling Monohm to sleep with Hypnosis!

I hope that makes sense since this is my first try at a battle.

Brandon entered the Tournament Arena, his newest member, Shockstrike the Monohm, following close behind. Seeing his opponent, undisputed, he sent out Shockstrike and Shellstrike while undisputed sent out a Gastly and a Dratini. Sizing up the competition and noting undisputed's orders, he gave orders of his own.

"Shockstrike, let's start by setting up a Rain Dance to help out both you and Shellstrike, then hit Gastly with a boosted Hydro Pump. If he misses his Hypnosis on you, finish the round with a second Hydro Pump, again on Gastly. Shellstrike, take advantage of your partner's rain with a powerful Waterfall on Gastly, then Protect yourself from the Will-O-Wisp. Finally, finish off with a Crunch on Gastly."

Summary:
Monohm - Rain Dance -> Hydro Pump(Gastly) -> Hydro Pump(Gastly)
Tirtouga - Waterfall(Gastly) -> Protect -> Crunch(Gastly)

Round One Start!

Welcome to the Tournament Arena, home to the tournament that will eventually happen. A large rectangle of flat land with a ring of water around the perimeter, it's not too exciting, to be honest. However, that's actually good, because our competitors get to exemplify creativity!!! On one side of the arena, we have Flamestrike with Shellstrike and Shockstrike! On the other side of the arena, we have undisputed with Pablo Sandoval and Tim Lincecum! *cheers for both sides* Let the battle begin!

Tim Lincecum zooms around the tournament arena as easily as his namesake throws baseballs. Abruptly stopping, he fires off a rather large Thunderbolt at Shellstrike, who is wallowing happily in the moat. Shockstrike winces as his ally takes the hit. In a sort of retaliation, Shockstrike summons some rain to come down on the field! Precipitation will last five rounds. Pablo Sandoval doesn't seem to like the rain as it shoots a pulse of powerful draconic energy towards the instigator of the rain, dealing significant damage. Shellstrike, still smarting from the Thunderbolt wound, propels himself with aquatic energy and slams into Tim Lincecum for quite a bit of damage.

Countering the attack, Lincecum attempts to shoot some ghostly flames at Shellstrike, but Shellstrike manages to protect himself from the burn! Shockstrike takes the opportunity to shoot a huge blast of water towards Lincecum, who takes a large amount of damage. Pablo Sandoval shoots an Ice Beam back at Shockstrike, who also takes a large amount of damage. Finally lowering his guard back down, Shellstrike looks around warily for the others that might attack him.

Upon hearing his trainer's commands, Tim Lincecum hovers by Shockstrike and attempts to make eye contact with a Hypnosis, but Shockstrike manages to look away to avoid the Hypnomiss! Shockstrike, still trying to avoid eye contact, shoots a Hydro Pump backwards at Lincecum, but Lincecum easily avoids it. As Sandoval jumps into the moat to save himself from the (non-existent) incoming attack, Shellstrike leaps up from the water and sinks dark fangs into Lincecum's shadowy flesh, dealing significant damage.

4 Rounds of RAIN.

Flamestrike, you're up!

Brandon smiled as his Pokemon worked together to deal massive damage to the Gastly, but it wasn't down yet. "Ok guys, let's finish this off! Shockstrike, Hydro Pump Gastly until it's dead, then start hitting Dratini with Dragon Pulse. If Gastly ever hits Shellstrike with a status, replace your action for that turn with a Heal Bell. Shellstrike, help Shockstrike finish off Gastly with Waterfall, then once it's dead go after Dratini with Stone Edge for the rest of the round.

Summary:
Monohm - Hydro Pump(Gastly till dead) -> Dragon Pulse(Dratini once Gastly is dead for remaining actions)
Replace any action with Heal Bell if Gastly uses a status move on Shellstrike that action
Tirtouga - Waterfall(Gastly till dead) -> Stone Edge(Dratini once Gastly is dead for remaining actions)

I chuckle heartily at the irony of Flamestrike ordering such a water based assault.

OK, time to spring into action Tim and Pablo!

Pablo splash up a wave of water to cover Gastly long enough to avoid the first Waterfall and first Hydro Pump coming your direction!

Now, Tim, with your extra time, spring into action and stick a Shadow Ball into that electric dragon! Hopefully putting him into KO range for Pablo to hit a couple homers.

Now, Pablo with your round 2 move, use Dragon Pulse on Monohm to soften his flesh.

Tim, use Night Shade to instantaneously disappear and avoid the repeat attack of Waterfall and Hydro Pump!

Now, with your last move Tim, I want you to Explode on Monohm hopefully koing him!

If he is too strength and survives our onslaught, Pablo, use Ice Beam to finish that pesky dragon off! If Monohm gets KOed by Explosion, then use Thunder Bolt on the sorry turtle! Then brace yourself for the incoming Stone Edge you can't avoid!

Summary:
Pablo -----> Whip up a wave to protect Gastly! -------> Dragon Pulse Monohm --------> Ice Beam Monohm (if explosion doesn't KO) / Thunderbolt the Tirtouga if Monohm dies.

Tim -------> Shadow Ball Monohm from the safety of Tim's wave --------> Use Night Shade to escape damage of Waterfall and Hydropump ----------> Explode on Monohm.

Also, yeah Shed Skin, not Inner Focus = my bad.

Round Two Start!

We're back to the tournament arena, where things are finally becoming more interesting! As Shockstrike shoots a large torrent of water at Tim, Pablo frantically creates a wave with his powerful tail (don't be fooled by the sprite; Dratini is almost six feet tall!) that crests up. Unfortunately, the wave doesn't intercept the attack in time as it hits the top of the wave and hits Tim for some reduced damage. As Shellstrike's aquatic tackle is also blocked by the large wave, Tim zooms out from behind it and shoots a shadow ball at Shockstrike for significant damage!

As Tim cackles happily at his success, he notices that Shockstrike and Shellstrike have prepared their next attacks already -_- Tim fires off shadowy beams at random locations around the arena, creating silhouettes of possible Gastlys. Quickly zooming behind one of them, he leaves his opponents quite confused. Quite infuriated by now, Shockstrike fires off another Hydro Pump and coincidentally hits the correct one. However, Tim zooms out just in time, taking reduced damage again! Shellstrike launches into another water tackle at Tim, but he manages to confuse him with another shadowy beam, taking reduced damage... again. :o Pablo lets down the wave and shoots a burst of draconic energy at the annoyed Shockstrike, dealing significant damage.

Surviving with just 4 HP to spare, Tim decides that it's time to go out with a bang. Literally. Suddenly exploding like a volatile explosive, he blows himself up while KOing Shockstrike. huh. Pablo takes advantage of his weakened opponent to strike him with a powerful Thunderbolt, dealing significant damage. Shellstrike retaliates with a Stone Edge, also dealing a good amount of damage.

3 TURNS OF RAIN.

undisputed, your turn!

EDIT: Since Flora doesn't like what I did, there are a few adjustments. Gastly is KOed by Waterfall + Hydro Pump, Dratini KOes Monohm back with Ice Beam instead of Thunderbolting Tirtouga. Anything else that I missed?

"bs flora" i remark dissatisfied

nonetheless, i spring into action quickly shouting for Pablo to give Tirtouga a whopping Dragon Pulse in retaliation for Gastly's being koed.

So instead of recovering because i do not own an action replay, i want you to fire off a vicious Thunderbolt and make Tirtouga go find a new shell to live in

once youre done recovering yo health, smack tirtouga around with another Dragon Pulse! If he tries any antics in the water, go after him since you can breathe under water!

let us obtain it!

Brandon recalled Shockstrike. "Good job, you did great in your first battle and played a huge role." Turning back to the field, he watched as Shellstrike stared down undisputed's Dratini. Brandon had no idea what to do. Shellstrike had no Ice moves, so no way to hit Dratini for super effective damage. Even with Solid Rock and Sturdy to reduce the damage from super effective moves, Dratini would KO Shellstrike with Thunderbolt and Dragon Pulse before Shellstrike KOed Dratini with Stone Edge and Earthquake. Unless...

Brandon smiled. He knew exactly what he was going to do. "Shellstrike, you only have one thing to do this round: Use Bide. Take those hits like a champ then use the stored energy to hit Dratini with a massive attack! You'll use up a lot of energy but hopefully after this you won't need much more to finish him off."

Summary:
Bide -> still Biding -> UNLEASH ENERGY
(also note that bide has +1 priority, though it shouldn't matter too much)

In this battle, two of our four fierce competitors have fallen. Who will be the last to fall?

Shellstrike starts the round for us, surprisingly. Bracing himself to take some damage, he curls up in his shell, hoping to survive whatever ordeal Pablo has in store for him. Pablo strikes him hard with a Dragon Pulse and a Thunderbolt, dealing significant damage even with its sturdy body. Shellstrike releases all his pent-up energy, dealing absolutely humongous damage to Pablo as Pablo shoots another Dragon Pulse at him.
