Round 1: Nothing but power

Here I am playing soccer with Ting in a small empty field. I'm trying to hone my skills when all of a sudden, Ting, my Swampert point at something behind me. I turn around and see two trainers staring at each other. I know that my Ting would much rather watch a battle than play soccer so we sit down to watch. We watch as one of the trainers who I can identify as Dragonboy sends out his Porygon. Man this is unfair, I spend all my time trying to save up enough coins at the game corner to get the rare and elusive Porygon and Dragonboy already has one. Korski respond to this by sending out his Hydreigon, Turvey. Look at the size of that Pokemon, something like that could easily take you on any day Ting, so stop saying that there's no other Pokemon that can beat you now that you're a Swampert.

Both the trainers look at me for a signal to start. I raise my hand and quickly bring it down to signal that the battle has started and immediately the battlers are off. Turvey begins by summoning mystic powers from her hands-mouth-head things. They form a ball of focused energy right at Turvey's chest. She then fires the Focused energy in a single Blast. Porygon is to busy downloading and analyzing information in his little computerized brain and the condensed energy strikes him right in the chest for massive damage. Porygon realizes the trouble he's in and retaliates by firing a Beam of Ice at Turvey for massive damage. Being a dragon, Turvey probably isn't used to the cold harsh ice.

Turvey gets up an flaps her wings to get rid off the ice on them. Not wanting to put more energy into another Focus Blast she changes strategies and goes back to her dark origins. She lets out a Pulse of Dark thoughts specifically related to Porygons. Computer crashes and hackers, think of all the nightmares Porygon is going to have after this battle. The pulse strikes Porygon and gets inside his computerized mind. Thankfully for Porygon he doesn't flinch and return fires with a triangle of energy for a powerful Tri Attack.

Turvey follows her trainer's orders and returns to what she did on the first action. She conjures up another Focus Blast to fire at Porygon. It hits once again for massive damage. Porygon, who seems to be taking a lot of damage, responds with another Ice Beam to match what Turvey has done.

What an exciting round.

Round 2: Kill, kill, kill

The round starts off with Turvy starting up another Focus Blast to fire at Porygon. Her mouths conjure up some more mystical condensed power at her chest and she wastes no time to unleash the deadly attack. It strikes Porygon dead on for incredible damage. Porygon is sent flying and crashes into a nearby tree but doesn't seem to be down. He quickly recuperates and responds by sending a chilling Ice Beam at Turvy. It nicks the dragon's gut but still does just as much damage.

Turvey gets up and cries in anger at the annoying Porygon. She starts up another Focus Blast out of anger, not even bothering to brush off the ice still lingering on her stomach. She fires it at Porygon but her anger made it unstable and it misses. Porygon sees this as an opportunity and lets loose another Ice Beam. It once again nicks Turvy only this time on her wings and she crashes into the ground.

Turvey gets up once again and brushes the ice off of her wings. This time she looks more composed and calm though. She decides to finish things with another Focus Blast. She fires it at Porygon and this time it hits, sending Porygon flying into the ground. Ting quickly runs into the battle field and checks how Porygon is doing. He quickly signals me.

"Porygon is unable to battle, Turvy wins this matchup!"

Round 3: Strategic but boring evasions

Turvy, being the faster one (thanks to speed boosting nature) starts the round by going in for an attack, she figures that she can get in at least one hit. She start going on a Outrage attacking anything she can find. Unfortunately for Dragonboy that thing is Garchomp. Turvy slams into Garchomp with all her might for massive damage. This however makes Turvy take recoil from Garchomp's Rough Skin ability. Garchomp is sent flying into a tree but he gets up and quickly Dig's underground before Turvy can launch another attack.

Turvey still Outraged and crazy is above ground snapping trees in half, slamming at the ground and acting like an idiot. Meanwhile underground, Garchomp starts up a Sandstorm above ground from his spot underground.

Turvy still running around like a mad idiot finishes her Outrage and calms down. She becomes Intensely confused. Garchomp realizes that it's safe to come out now and surfaces after all of that.

one KO counter for Garchomp

Korski, please send out your next Pokemon

A few things from the last two rounds.

Garchomp: Dig+underground for one turn=5+3=8 energy+Sandstorm (9 energy)+Dragon Claw (5) = 22 energy. So Garchomp should be at 78 energy by now, not 95.

Hydreigon's Outrage: (12 BP + 3 STAB + 1.5 STAT)*1.5 SE = 24.75 = 25 damage, so Garchomp should be at 85 HP, not 90. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

In any case, I refuse to lose to HaxChomp.

Go, Itasca!

Ice Beam x3! The accuracy boost from Timid should just about cancel out the evasion garbage our opponent is trying. If it uses Dig again, use Counter on the turn it comes up.

sorry 'bout that Korski

forgot to factor in STAB on the Outrage and I did all the calcs for Garchop's energy, I just forgot to take them off of the total

Round 5: How can a little shrimp have so much HP?

Korski, ticked off that Turvy is out of the battle sends in Itasca the Krillowatt to finish off Garchomp. Itasca starts with incredible speed and circles around behind Garchomp. She quickly fires off a strong Ice Beam at Garchomp. It strikes despite Garchomp's Sand Veil ability which helps opponents hit him for massive super-effective damage. Garchomp doesn't seem to like this and in return tries to hinder Itasca's accuracy with a Sand-Attack.

Itasca looks angry. She has sand in her face and can't see the dragon amongst the Sandstorm. She fires an Ice Beam at what she thinks is Garchomp. It hits for Great super-effective damage. Garchomp breaks the ice off of his fin and starts to attack. He jumps up and slams into the ground creating a massive Earthquake. Itasca gets caught up in it and it does massive damage to her.

Following last attack, Itasca fires off another Ice Beam at Garchomp who just can't seem to evade it despite the massive chance that it will miss. It strikes him in the gut delivering a world of hurt to the dragon once again. Garchomp, still able to fight though responds with another deadly Earthquake for massive damage to Itasca once again.

Action 1:
Itasca: Ice Beam 7 Energy 20 HP to Garchomp
Garchomp: Sand Attack 5 Energy -1 accuracy to Krillowatt

Action 2:
Itasca: Ice Beam 7 (+ 4) Energy 20 HP to Garchomp
Garchomp: Earthquake 6 Energy 26 HP to Krillowatt (10 BP + 3 STAB + (3 * 1.5 Rank difference) * 1.5 super-effective)

Action 3:
Istaca: Ice Beam 7 (+ 8) Energy 20 HP to Garchomp
Garchomp: Earthquake 6 (+ 4) Energy 26 to Krillowatt

extra: because of -1 accuracy and sand veil, Krillowatt has a 69% accuracy on regular 100% accurate moves
