The Smogon Spelling Bee​

Hello and welcome to the Smogon Spelling Bee! In this tournament, the names of your Pokemon will finally matter, or at least the first letters of them. In each round, you will be given a theme and you must build a team using six Pokemon that spell out a word relating to that theme with the first letters of their names. For instance, if the theme was 'household objects', I could build a team using the word 'window' and the Pokemon Wormadam, Infernape, Ninjask, Delcatty, Omastar and Wigglytuff. Note the Pokemon must be in the same order as the word, so I would be required to use Wormadam as my lead. Also, note that plural nouns are illegal. Singular only.

  • Single Elimination
  • Gen 4
  • Singles
  • All matches are to be played on Smogon's PO server or the CAP server on Shoddy
  • No Ubers
  • Freeze Clause
  • Sleep Clause
  • OHKO Clause
  • Battle timer must be on
  • Species Clause
  • Evasion Clause
  • Logs are not required, but should be saved in case of a dispute

Thought I would add that Hormel was a brand name because of SPAM, but turns out I remember the name better for some of its chili. Mah bad, you don't have to use it if you don't want to.

Unfortunately real school has been taking more importance over "school" like tournaments so I might need another day to be ready.
 
dummy has had issues come up apparently and couldnt make our scheduled time. nonetheless we should be able to do it within the next few days is my guess (we planned for tomorrow at 6:30 or so pst)
 
Still waiting on Kd24 to respond. If we don't get the battle done before this Saturday, then I don't think I will be able to complete our battle before next week Thursday.
