5 things before we begin-
1-although this is primerly a thread for the pictures i took at sakura con, i would like to also make this my official under 200 pounds update [mainly because of all the comments i got when i posted a few pictures in the photo album, thanks ^__^]. i was going to update but then smogon went down and i never updated the weightloss thread so here you have it
2-100 points to you if you got the thread title reference/joke
3-if your not into cosplay or just simply do not enjoy see it...well then this thread is not for you
4- let me know some of your favorites and if you were able to get all the cosplays let me know as well, i did ok but i couldnt get them all :(.
5-if your not at home or on your laptop or something, you probably wont be able to handle all the pictures loading....just a warning, unless your really awesome
i had never been to an anime convention or any con for that matter, well nothing on the scale of conventions like sakura con. so after a buddy of mine from work and a sakura con fanatic asked me tag along this year i thought about it and eventually said yes[ i love trying new things ;)]. it was time to give this a try[especially after seeing the ads for sakura con 2008 and 2011] and should i like it maybe i'll go to a bunch of them next year and if i REALLY like it i may even cosplay.
seriously though, all the great panels and meeting the people behind your fav shows, voice actors and getting autographs etc. even if that isnt for you, just getting to see so much amazing cosplays and meeting the great/well known cosplayers is worth me going again. long story short i LOVED it, had a blast and i am starting to plan for my "anime convention tour[2-3 cons]" next year.

although i took all these, i've been checking out videos on youtube of pictures from others and let me tell you i did not even get 15% of the cosplays from this year[and i took almost 400 pics, but not posting all]. i hope you enjoy it anyways
