Hello, welcome to the 5th Generation RMT Archive nomination thread! The Black and White metagame has been developing for quite a while now, so we decided it was time to set up a dedicated archive to host the new teams.
Here, you're free to nominate OU RMTs you feel deserves a spot in the RMT Archive. Keep the following in mind, though: We're looking for teams that bring something new to the table. Teams that perfect a certain strategy or combination. Teams that popularize a new set or obscure way of playing a certain Pokémon. Those are the kind of teams that we want to see here. DO NOT automatically nominate a team just because it has pretty pictures, lengthy descriptions, or a colorful threat list. Remember, we are trying to tell a story of the development of the metagame of a generation through RMTs, so make sure to nominate teams that meet the aforementioned criteria! __________________ With that said, I'd like to lay down a few ground rules:
Here's the format for nominating teams. Failure to follow this format will result in your post being ignored: Title of the team: Make sure to hyper-link to the actual thread. Justification: Brief summary of why you think the team should be added. __________________ ACCEPTED __________________
REJECTED __________________

We, the RMT Staff, decided to update the archive as it hadn't been updated in a while and, with the new bans, some teams needed to be added. Here are the teams we decided to add:
Added teams
Thanks to everyone who nominated teams. Feel free to nominate again.

Title of The Team: (Baton) Passport to Victory (Peaked #2)
Justification: Kidogo's team represent's a balanced rain archetype. Kidogo's team at first shows a standard rain offensive core of Scarf Keldeo and Agility Thundurus, backed by a well made defensive core of Celebi and Jirachi. Kidogo has incorporated an innovative Nasty Plot Pass Celebi in his team which solves many problems for his team. At first glance it would seem that standard threats to rain teams would be able to get through this team, but that is not the case as Kidogo uses an easy sweep condition in passing boosts to the two most powerful special attackers in the games, sealing a win condition. Because of the presence of BP Celebi on the team, Kidogo's team has become wildly successful and replicated on both PO and PS ladders. For the reasons above, I strongly believe that Kidogo's (Baton) Passport to Victory (Peaked #2) should have a place in the RMT Archive

Title of team: <jumpluff> do they have golden gaytimes in nz?
Justification: This team features Nasty Plot Baton Pass Celebi in which is utilized to the fullest extent with the passing to two different sweepers: Keldeo and Landorus. Not only this but the team is a bulky offensive team that is relatively unique in the current Metagame. The use of sets that aren't as common such as Stealth Rock Jirachi is also a great addition to the overall surprise factor of the team. What the team lacks in a spinner, it makes up for it with sheer offensive sets. For being a balanced and effective team in this meta, I nominate Ginganinja's team. |

Nominating Team Cassie Ainsworth by George Eliot
Justification: When talking about the anti-metagame, this is the first team to jump in mind. Using Abomasnow to combat rain teams from SPAMming their ridiculously powerful Water-STAB and Thunders versus rain, revenge killing Chlorophyll sweepers such as Venasaur and Lilligant versus sun, and finally versus sand, Abomasnow can easily gain superiority over the team. This team surely turns weather teams into a liablity. George Eliot also uses interesting sets such as Reflect Type Starmie and Defensive Keldeo to avoid common threats that threaten these two. For example Pursuit users, which roam the metagame, namely Tyranitar and Scizor, cannont due much to Starmie as it uses Reflect Type to take resistant damage from Pursuit, forcing them to either switch or be burned eventually by Scald. The team finally introduces Zoroark who easily takes advantage of the team's surprise factor and weaknesses to take sweep late game. It has been ages since Delko's Christmas, and I think it finally deserves a spot on the archive. |

Collide by Lohgock
While the team prepares a successful sweep of Latias, what is seen often these days, they way of preparing this sweep is unique: By using the rarely seen combination of Rocky Helmet Skarmory and the new Rocky Helmet Garchomp, Lohgock achieves an excellent way of getting rid of Latias's counters. On top of that he is using Virizion with great success, a pokemon that lost a lot of usage in the past few months. A combination of rarely seen sets and metagame's top threads forms an extremely solid core for a balanced team in the actual metagame. The team represents a part of the metagame of these days, by using toptier pokemon and, at the same time, uses surprising sets and pokemon. In times of the standard CB Tyranitar + Keldeo + Landorus-I cores, he managed to build not only an original team that separates from the standard ones, but is also able to counter said standard teams by having at least two counters or checks against their threats. Because of that, I think Lohgock's team Collide should be added to the RMT-archive. |

Title of the Team: Gonna CONK You Up by Halcyon of Light
Justification: In this sand offense team, Sheer Force Conkeldurr, a terrifying wallbreaker makes an appearance. It is an example of a bulky attacker in the metagame and shows how powerful it is in practice than paper. The set is actually effective in the metagame. With that, the infamous Tyranitar + Keldeo core also makes a show as well. When paired with Conkeldurr, the two can break through the opposing team with little fear, and by adding a defensive back bone of Latias and Landorus-T, the set has great potential. The peak itself shows that the team went through numerous stages of editing making it into the team it is now. Jirachi is the only wild card, but it has good synergy with the team, provides a bulky steel and Wish support increasing the longetivity of the team. This team bring plenty of cores to play into the mix-match-up of the century and it truly deserves a spot in the archive. Good Day. |

As an aside, has ordering the teams in chronological order ever been considered?
If this archive is designed to reflect the flow of the metagame, a chronological order of teams that represent different stages of the metagame would paint a far more accurate picture. |

A chronological ordering of the teams found in the RMT Archive can be found in the link on the top of the OP. The OP of this thread is here to show the nominated teams that have been accepted / rejected.
