Blazikenmaster-Zeo vs SimonSays: Battle on Sky Tower (2v2 singles)

Status
Not open for further replies.
2v2 Singles
3 Day DQ
1 Recovery/ 3 Chills
Arena; Sky Tower Top
Open-air. About 50 metres by 80 metres of boulder-littered space. Weather changes erratically every 3 Rounds between Sunshine, Rain and Clear Skies. Earthquake and Magnitude are ill-advised, due to the age of the structure. Dig is impossible. And don't worry about falling; Altaria are flying around 4 stories down, to catch any pokemon that fall and put the back on the top floor.
I'll accept it Simon

Lets stop the tricks right off the bat Nohface, use Taunt, followed up by a Yawn, and then end with Shadow Sneak

Hehe, this is going to be fun.

Looks like you outspeed, so open up with a Thunder Wave before he can Taunt, then follow it up with a Fire Blast! then cool it off with the force of a Waterfall!

The battle begins and Hermes is first to make her appearance. The little dragon stretches out her body then lets out a surprisingly loud roar, causing even the altaria to flutter about from shock. Steelface the nohface also makes his appearence, looking as ghostly and mysterious as ever. Hermes is first to move, as she easily outspeeds her opponent, and launches a barrage of electricity at her opponent. SteelFace closes his eyes to embrace the impact, but finds that the electricity wasn't ment to damage him. Instead, the Thunder Wave paralyzes the pokemon, slowin him down to a crawl. The electricity effects him so much that he is Fully Paralyzed right off the bat!
Hermes takes this opportunity to fire off a Fire Blast. Not only do the flames hit its mark, completely engulfing the poor nohface, but SteelFace is also left with a First Degree Burn from the hit! Still he manages to pull through a Yawn, that makes the dratini very drowsy.
Hermes wants to end this fast, and although SteelFace tries to react first with shadowsneak, he is once again Fully Paralyzed! Hermes laughs and unleashes a powerful Waterfall, sending crushing heaps of water at her opponent. At the end of the round, SteelFace looks battered, but Hermes is finding it difficult to keep her eyes open.

Wow, that was some vicious hax.

Right, Fire Blast again, before you sleep. Then, if you wake up before the round ends, use Dragon Dance, then Waterfall again.

Nohface tries to use priority to his advantage with a shadow sneak. However, hax turns its ugly head again as the electricity in Steelface's body stiffens its muscles, causing it to be Fully Paralyzed! This gives Hermes ample opportunity to fire off a Fire Blast, hitting directly on target. Hermes' eyes drift off after firing off his attack, putting him a mere Light Sleep!
Steelface takes this one-turn opportunity to fire off aMeteor Mash, well, he tries to but is Fully Paralyzed once again! This is just not his day... Meanwhile Dratini just drifts in slumber land.

Steelface FINALLY gets his hit off with a Shadow Sneak, dealing some minor damage to his foe. However, Hermes gets up form her slumber and decides to perform a mystical Dragon Dance, increasing its stats for the upcoming rounds!

That is really not fair at all.

The next round begins and Hermis is quick to act. Using the ancient art of fear passed down from dragon to dragon, she uses a Leer attack in order to lower her opponents defenses. Meanwhile, Steelface FINALLY pulls off an attack, using Psycho Shift in order to remove all the status he was inflicted with.

Despite being afflicted with his own statuses, Hermes goes all out and attacks with a Waterfall + Extreme Speed Combination! She envelopes herself in water and charges forward with blinding speed! The sheer power of waterfall combined with the speed of extreme speed increases the overall base power of the attack as well! Meanwhile, Steelface just psycho shifts nothing, meaning the attack failed.

The round ends uneventfully, with Hermes relaxing from the powerful combination, and Steelface trying to psycho shift nothing again.

Psycho shift transfers a status condition onto your opponent. Once you use it once, you don't have anymore status conditions. How would it do anything else? Maybe you were thinking about another attack?

Okay, let's keep going then?

Hermes, Saturate the arena with your Mighty Flame! Then, if he still stands, Send a mighty Twister his way! Otherwise, just Chill out. =]

SteelFace is quick to attack and fires off a Shadow Sneak. By dissapearing into the shadows, he appears right next to Hermes and Strikes. However, Hermes is ready and after taking the hit, she fires off a Fire Blast.

Shaking off the damaging flames. SteelFace uses another Shadow Sneak to deal some minor Damage. Hermes musters up all her power and fires off a Fire Blast, knocking out the poor little ghost.

Shed Skin, why u no removing Status???

Alright then, Hermes, let's get this going. Open up with a Thunder Wave, then make like a Togekiss and Flinch hax@!

Thunder Wave ~ Twister (should hit all clones? Ref's decision) ~ Waterfall

Also would like to point out that the Weather hasn't changed at all sinse the start of the battle. That was in the OP, and I thought it would be a clever way to include the RSE Lengends into the battle, in a way.

Twister: The Pokemon creates a twister and sends it towards the opponent, damaging them. Twister's strong winds can scare the opponent, causing them to flinch. If Twister is used against a Pokemon in the first stage of Fly or Bounce, Twister's Base Attack Power increases from 4 to 8. This move targets up to three (3) adjacent opponents in a multi-battle.

It can only hit 3 out of 5

Sorry bout the lack of weather change, didn't see that. Thanks for reminding me!

Out comes Psycho the Ralts, ready to avenge her fallen friend! Hermes sneers at her opponent and prepares for battle.

Before the round begins, the clouds begin to darken, and the blast of Lightning engulfs the sky. Kyogre appears, interested by the battle summoning Rain onto the field.

Psycho decides to take this as an opportunity to set up. She creates 4 clones using Double Team in order to confuse her opponent and hopefully dodge some attacks. Hermes tries to strike one of the clones at random, but ends up missing her tunderwave!

The Ralts decides it is about time to set up a Toxic, hitting her mark directly. Pushing through the toxic running through her veins and the paralysis stiffening her body, Hermes manages to fire off a Twister, dissipating all of the clones and exposing the psychic type's true body.

Not enjoying being exposed, Psycho fires off a Confuse Ray, baffling her opponent in hopes of preventing future attacks. Hermes tries to attack, but finds herself Fully Paralyzed!

Rain still engulfs the area, and Hermes is starting to succumb to her status effects, still unable to shed her skin.

Hermes, Use Rest... Wait, nevermind. Already did that.

Hermes, it's unlikely that you're going to make it through this round, but let's do what we can. Dragon Dance to boost yourself up, then Dragon Rush twice to hopefully get some solid damage on him. Or, if he tries to Double Team again, sub in Twister.

Dragon Dance ~ Dragon Rush ~ Dragon Rush
Sub Twister if he uses Double Team
