Round 1: Pasta-based Warfare

Gooooooood morning, ladies and gentlemen! There's nothing like alphabet soup for breakfast, no? There's also nothing like a Pokemon battle in alphabet soup! In the red corner, we have...yarnusvshartiwg...(Hey Frank! Am I pronouncing that right?! I am?! Good!) with his shiny Porygon Zap!, and in the blue corner lies typon77 with his trusty Darumaka Shingo!

Although Zap! gets to download a boost in special attack before the battle begins, Shingo's the faster one and thus goes first, slamming into the cybernetic warrior with a nice, hard Brick Break! As Zap! regains its bearings, it notices a noodle shaped like Unown E and makes a grab for it, invoking the attack Earth Power! Oh, that's GOTTA hurt!

Taking a note from his enemy's last move, Shingo grabs an Unown S noodle and turns it into Swords, which he uses to Dance around a bit, raising his attack! Zap! takes this time to set up, splattering Toxic sludge all over his Darumaka nemesis.

The battle then turns to wanton violence once more, as Shingo makes for a noodle shaped like Unown C and proceeds to rush Zap! with Close Combat, dealing an impressive amount of damage! The Porygon endures and grabs Unown M's noodle, using Shingo's attack against him with a catastrophic Metal Burst!

Well, this has proven to be an intense opening. What will happen next? Stay tuned!

Speaking of Zap! and noodles...the Porygon attempts to take Unown D to put his nemesis to sleep with Dark Void, but is rendered unable when the Darumaka decides to Taunt Zap! with some very disparaging things about its programmer.

Apparently Shingo is bored as all hell of this match, as he lets out a nice fat Yawn that renders Zap! - and much of the audience - drowsy. The porygon, on the other hand, decides to negate Shingo's speed advantage by using Agility...but is too pissed from the Darumaka's past epithets!

Looks like not much happened compared to the last round. Who will change things up?

Although Typon's Darumaka was faster, it looks like Yarnus's Porygon had the upper hand this round. Shingo opens up with a Brick Break that does massive damage, much like a giant enemy crab being hit in his weak point, while Zap! says "fuck this" to its rage and picks up a v-shaped noodle to use Volt Switch, erasing all of its troubles!

Shingo's a bit unnerved from this, having lost his upper hand...but in the end, he decides to stick to the plan and Work Up his courage, while his Porygon nemesis takes another Unown - a W - to blast him with Water Pulse...or should I say Broth Pulse?

Things are REALLY looking bad for the Darumaka. In a last ditch effort to wreck Zap!, he gathers all of his strength to bash the coded creature with a Wake-up Slapfrom a W Unown that no longer exists...and the Porygon just lets out a digitized chuckle, shocking the poor critter with a decisive Thunderbolt.

Round 4: Shields meet shields

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen! It looks like our foes are trying to get the jump on one another - the round starts off with Typon's Magnemite, Resistor, looking suspicious of Zap!'s actions, and covers itself in a Magic Coat! But, sadly, it didn't do any good, as its Porygon nemesis grabs a D Unown to use Dragon Rage!

Again, Resistor tries to avoid trouble, grabbing a P to set up some Protection...which once again pays off, as Zap! uses a B in a Blue Flare-shaped exercise in futility.

This time, it's Zap!'s turn to play defensively, as the cyber-bird thing runs a repair program to Recover some damage! Resistor attempts to nullify this with an Unown-induced Aura Sphere, but comes up a little short in the damage.

Zap! appears to be really low on energy, so the odds are in favor of Typon winning this particular clash. Even so, Resistor took a hard blow to its own reserves as well...what will happen next? Stay tuned!
