Alright people, first of all the rules and regulations!


1) Single Entry due to sheer number of users in this round, so make it count.

2) You have until April 11 to submit, otherwise you forfeit on the virtue of being a pussie!

3) 4 Minutes max for each entry.

4) On the subject of who goes first, talk to the player in PMs if you want, not in this topic! This topic is about swag, pics, raps, lyrics, cheering whateva but coordination if any goes in the PM between players.

5) There's too many of you people! If you want to post MC names, pictures or anything else do it by yourself.

6) Audacity, Soundcloud are all good sites, others can be googled for.

7) You can reuse the instrumentals of someone else.

8) DON'T TAKE THE INSULTS DIRECTED AT YOUR MON SERIOUSLY AND PERSONALLY, IT'S JUST FOR SHOW.

Glad both me and mattj got through! Woulda been too much of a shame if he went out, his production is far too enjoyable.

I'm off school for easter so this round *should* be a lot less rushed.
 
Fisdunction is good -_-. Anyway I forgot to mention in the last thread but is it possible to change mons now?

About changing mons, talk to Fisdunction I don't know where he is on his rap, if he's cool with it then sure.
 
Seeing as the user of Honchkrow is eliminated, in round 1 in fact, I'd really like to use it if possible?
 
This was done less then 24 hours after the topic was posted, I'll VM him but honestly I'd be surprised if this is a problem. I remember last round someone changed later in the round from Reuniclus to Chandelure or something and that turned out fine!
 
Actually it was more like the opponent of Chandelure assumed that he was using his R1 pokemon and didn't bother reading the R2 match-ups properly but hey go ahead. I'm only concerned because I don't want Fis to come here all ready only to find out you changed your mon, that is all :)

In any case let's here something people!

Great philosophy. Why don't you press your luck?

For your lyrics, why don't you put down the words to the ICarly theme song and instead of recording, just link a racist stand up routine by Chris Rock.

And maybe I won't have the time and fail to post my rap and you won't have to work at all.
 
I won't be able to record anything till a little after 5 days from this post because I'll be in Melbourne for Easter. I already have something planned though, and if I have time I'm going to actually make my own instrumental to rap over :)

I'm gonna have to beg your indulgence on the 3 minute time limit this time around. Now that I've settled on a beat, I've only just begun the lyrics, but looking at the song structure its going to land somewhere around 3:30. I could speed it up a hair with my recording software, but I'm using an extraordinarily famous track and it would do serious injustice to even tweak it at all.

whether or not you can make it that long is going to depend on your answer to these following questions

1. how many times do you reference guns
2. how many times do you talk about pokemon

Alright I kind of see how Easter is trolling some of you folks, and that we need to let people take their freedom if they decide to do outros and intros (or both) so I'm extending the deadline to April 11 and making the limit 4 minutes max. Please note that we can't just extend the deadline over and over so try harder, better, faster and stronger because this R3 bitches!

Also, I'll agree with Aviator, I don't think I could even write enough lyrics for 3 minutes of rapping, unless you have one hell of a low bpm on the instrumental track, or a guitar solo.
 
yeah, there seems to be some serious doldrums here...

Perhaps people are just busy? It is a double religious holiday weekend.

Or maybe people are just afraid of posting and giving their opponents a five day stretch to easily dismantle their rap? I wouldn't blame 'em personally.
