Additionally even with their extra skill, the power and exhaustion involved in using OHKO moves prevents them from being benefitted by No Guard, they will have their normal accuracy.

"OK, guys, let's do this!"

Alright, here's how this is going to work, first, both competitors send me a PM with their first Pokemon choice. After that, I will make another post stating what the Pokemon sent out are, and the order of the competitors, which will be decided by a coin flip. Once that happens, actions proceed as normal.

GLHF

Turn order:
Send PMs to determine which mon is sent out first
I'll post the chosen mons and coin flip to determine move order
Competitors move in the order specified by the coin flip
I ref.

Brandon found himself in the ASB Arena for a tournament match for the first time since he had lost to Dan in the first-ever ASB tournament. Dan had at least gone to the finals, so Brandon felt somewhat justified in losing, but it still hurt. Now he was part of a team, and he was determined that his team would be the last one standing. As Flamestrike the Magmortar stood in the arena facing a Munchlax, Brandon gave his orders. "Alright, this'll be a nice warm-up before the next round! Start with a Taunt to put an end to that Double Team, then Counter that Earthquake! Finish off with a Cross Chop!"

"Flamestrike starts off with a preemptive Taunt, infuriating Nom so much that his Double Team fails! Flame pulling off a great first strike here!"

"Nom goes first for some reason this time, firing off a powerful Earthquake! But wait, what's this? From Flamestrike...a hugely powerful Counter! Nice strategy here!"

"Flamrestrike pulling out a quick Cross Chop, smashing down on Nom like...umm...I can't think of a simile here, okay? But anyway...Nom summons his fatass powers and sends a huge Body Slam down onto Flamestrike, paralyzing him! Flame has the lead for the moment, but could this paralysis see a comeback for Quagsires?"

Is this correct?

Quagsires' Dratini is stated Quiet, but has the stats of a Rash Dratini. Quags and Flame have concluded that Rash is the correct nature.

Round 6

Quagsires is making quite the splash with his unevolved team! Can he prove them to be the uberstrongth? Flamestrike sends out Shadowstrike to find and pin down the elusive serpent, but will it worth the effort?

[box]Turn 1

Draco used Protect!
-7 En

Shadowstrike used DynamicPunch!
(10 + 2 + 7.5 - 3) / 2.5 = 6.6 En loss
-7 En[/box]

Fairly standard, Draco puts a block on Shadowstrike's swing. Draco loses his clones, but at least he hasn't lost his senses.

[box][/u]Turn 2[/u]

Draco used Ice Beam!
Critical Roll: 625 > 1253 (No)
Freeze Roll: 1000 > 759 (Yes)
(10 + 4.5 - 4.5) * 1.5 = 15 Damage
Shadowstrike was frozen solid!
-7 En

Freeze Duration: 0-4999 | 4967 | 5000-9999 (1 action)

Shadowstrike used Earthquake!
Shadowstrike is frozen solid![/box]

Draco proves himself to have a devil's luck; but there's still more pain coming his way! Can he squeeze his way passed that too?

[box]Turn 3

Draco used Waterfall!
Critical Roll: 625 > 7674 (No)
Flinch Roll: 2000 > 1802 (Yes)
(8 + 4.5 - 4.5) * 1.5 = 12 Damage
-6 En

Shadowstrike flinched![/box]

One has to wonder if Shadowstrike is going to get any sort of hits in! Draco is tantamount cheating at this point.

[box]Total
Draco -27 (26.6) En
Shadowstrike -27 HP, -7 En[/box]
