Ever wanted your team rated by a lot of people? Do you want all the efforts you put into testing your team, formatting it and finalizing it to count? This is why we have the Team of the Week! This concept aims at letting people who put effort into making quality RMTs get the attention they deserve, as their team will be put on the spotlight for the week. There are a lot of teams that aren't exactly Archive worthy teams that are extremely well built and presented, and these are often left in the dark. Not anymore!
The concept is fairly simple.

Attention aspiring raters! I hope you realise that this is the perfect opportunity for all of you unbadged users to draw attention on you from the RMT staff. If you produce good rates on a the Team of the Week, something that most of the Staff is going to look at, you increase your chances of getting badged (and faster.)
What kind of teams are going to be selected for the Team of the Week? If you are interested in getting your team selected for the team of the week, here are some things that you should do to increase your chances of getting nominated. Here are some of them:

The Crocodile's Wrath - (Peaked #4) by Neliel Tu Oderschvank While Rain is quite certainly the most common team archetype in BW2, this team is pretty different from your standard Genesect+Dugtrio+Politoed offensive Rain team. It carries the underused but fan favourite Feraligatr and uses it to sweep with the powerful Swords Dance set, helped by Drizzle which boosts the power of Aqua Jet. This originality brings The Crocodile's Wrath (Isn't feraligatr an aligator?) to the poll.
Wishful Thinking by Harsha
The final Sandstorm team in this poll, Wishful Thinking uses one of the most dangerous sweepers as its main game ender - Rock Polish Landorus. The team's main point is to weaken Landorus' checks, making it easier for it to sweep. Otherwise, it uses a strong defensive core alongside the popular Choice Scarf Genesect to reduce the number of things that threaten it. There is not much that can really sweep this team making it one of the top choices in this week's poll.
Heil King Victini! by Dragonfruit This is an excellent choice for the RMT of the Week. This team is well presented and is actually pretty effective. It uses a combination of underrated threats such as Victini and Abomasnow, as well as the tier's top sweeper, Rock Polish Genesect. It is able to deal with most of the metagame pretty effectively both offensively and defensively, making it a great option for this week's RMT of the Week.
This team uses excellent animated gifs to present its team members which is certainly cool to look at. Otherwise, it uses and extremely dangerous combination, the most probably two best sweepers in BW2: Rock Polish Genesect and Landorus. Both are pretty strong by themselves, so opposing offensive teams will have an extremely hard time dealing with both. It recently replaced its Scarfer Salamence for the more defensive Rotom-W so even if you have already rated the team, it is not the same as before now!
- The Art of Sun Heavy Offense by Neliel Tu Oderschvank
Not that standard of a Sun team, this one uses Ninetales alongside 4 extremely potent offensive threats that can decimate teams using their offensive presence, complemented by the underrated and versatile Kabutops. It also uses triple priority, which makes it difficult for faster threats to perform well against it.

White Fang's Revolution!by H-C
One of the best examples of the increasingly popular Stoutland + Hippowdon teams, White Fang's Revolution is an incredibly effective team that proved its worth by finishing with the best record in the #Pokemon tournament, with an amazing 14 wins. It shows the formidable synergy between Landorus and Stouland who together can sweep a lot of teams, backed up with a solid defensive core. It goes without saying that this team is a strong pick.
Team Dr. Strangelove by Joeyboy
Team Dr. Strangelove brings an extremely offensive approach to the game, leaded by the fast lead Azelf. It focuses on setting up as many sweepers as it can and proceed to overpower the opponent's defenses. This team uses some of the most dangerous threats in BW2, including DD Moxie Salamence and Agility Thundurus-T, as well as the infamous Rock Polish Genesect. This team's offensive power is quite difficult to stop making it a strong nomination.
TEzeon is totally teched out by TEzeon
Another Sandstorm team, it uses some quite original sets, such as RestTalk Tyranitar. Its main goal is to set up entry hazards and wait for the opponent to weaken itself on it. This team takes full advantage of residual damage, using some of the best Pokemon at abusing it, such as Gengar and Heatran. This team is well built defensively and deserves a place in the poll.
Wishful Thinking by Harsha

The Art Of Peer Pressure by GaryTheGengar and CTC
This team is a prme example of the weatherless offensive teams in BW2. It uses dangerous sweepers such as Rock Polish Genesect and DD Dragonite, while also dealing with the opponent's sweepers using Choice Scarf Jirachi. It also has quite an original way to deal with opposing weather by utilizing Hail Starmie, effectively removing the opponent's weather for a more neutral weather. This team has had immediate success when it was posted, making it a great choice for this week's poll.
Week 3 options
bards and seahorses by Thursday
Rain teams might be the standard in BW2 but this one is different. It actually uses the move Rain Dance to power up Kingdra and give it incredible Speed and power, thanks to Swift Swim. Obviously this wouldn't be possible with Drizzle Politoed since Drizzle + Swift Swim is banned. Other than that, this team uses a solid defensive core to back Kingdra up making its life easier.
Legendary Fury by False Sense
While it is rare to see effective weatherless teams in BW2, this one is able to be effective even without weather support. It uses the extremely dangerous SubDD Dragonite which is able to sweep quite often, backed up by support from Expert Belt Genesect to assault the opponent's defenses. It has great synergy which allows it to make up for the lack of weather, making it a good option for the RMT of the Week. Heil King Victini! by Dragonfruit This is an excellent choice for the RMT of the Week. This team is well presented and is actually pretty effective. It uses a combination of underrated threats such as Victini and Abomasnow, as well as the tier's top sweeper, Rock Polish Genesect. Sand in my buns by Goutland
This team is pretty interesting. At first glance it might seem to be BW2's standard offensive Sand team, and it's true it's pretty close to it. However, it uses an extremely underrated set, which is Choice Scarf Starmie. This team is all about offense and it uses extremely fast Pokemon and priority to not let any momentum to the opponent.
This RMT is very well presented, which is pleasing to see, which probably took a lot of effort to make. This is a powerful team using top metagame threats such as Genesect and Keldeo, while also using the very underrated Rotom-H, which is often overshadowed by its washing machine forme. It has a lot of Speed with the popular Scarf Genesect and the even faster Latios, so it's difficult to keep the pace against it.

While it might look surprising to see a full stall team in such an offensive metagame, Powerpuff Stall attempts to revive the playstyle by using a Pokemon not so well known for being used on Stall: Xatu. Xatu's Magic Mirror ability come in handy in many situations, however I invite you to read this RMT if you want to learn more. It uses another very underrated Pokemon: Qwilfish, with the Dream World's gift Intimidate, that allows it to take on multiple BW2 OU threats with great resists and physical bulk.
Week 5 options
- The Power Of The LandLord by TheSuperSaiyanBreloom
This team features a solid defensive core between Skarmory, Latias, Tyranitar and Rotom-W, which is able to handle a lot of threats while setting up Spikes and Stealth Rock, to allow Rock Polish Sheer Force Landorus to sweep. It also uses Choice Scarf Terrakion as a revenge killer to patch weaknesses, it is a classic example of Sand balance in BW2.
- The Art of Sun Heavy Offense by Neliel Tu Oderschvank
Not that standard of a Sun team, this one uses Ninetales alongside 4 extremely potent offensive threats that can decimate teams using their offensive presence, complemented by the underrated and versatile Kabutops. It also uses triple priority, which makes it difficult for faster threats to perform well against it.
- Perhaps the greatest RMT ever by ShootinStarmie
This team is a classic example of a balanced weatherless teams. It uses Pokemon that are able to switch into powerful attackers, such as Landorus-T and Heatran, and uses them as pivots to let their team mates attack the opponent. With threats like Gengar, it is also able to put a lot of pressure on the opponent. Finally, Scarf Latios rounds things off by providing a reliable revenge killer for all sorts of threats.
Week 6 options
Season Unending by Intergalactic -
A very well presented RMT, Season Unending offers a weatherless approach to BW2 balanced teams. Using powerful attackers such as Choice Band Garchomp, Terrakion and Heatran, backed up by the utility and great resistances offered by Rotom-W and Celebi, and the unexpected revenge killer in Choice Scarf Latias, this team has a mix of potent offense and defense.
Hurricane! by Novaray -
Hurricane! is quite similar to the other Rain teams, using commonly seen threats such as Jirachi, Tornadus-T and Tentacruel, while also offering the combination of two powerful priority attackers: Breloom and Mamoswine.
*Threat under Sun* by Leftiez -
*Threat under Sun* is an extremely original team, playing the extremely underrated Sun Stall. It uses Forretress as its main source of entry hazards, while blocking enemy Rapid Spin with Sableye. Landorus-T is able to fix a lot of weaknesses for the team. A very surprising way to see Ninetales' Drought used!
