Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Um so...we all messed up. Dragonite has 4 SpDef and not 3. This reduces the damage it takes last round by a bit. Can Mowtom fix the last round and then S0L1D G0LD reorder or something?
Honestly, given how long it took for this to come to light, I think we should just play it out as it has been reffed. If this was pointed out immediately, I'd agree, but you waited until you were roughly 3 hours off of dq, smash, and that leaves a majorly sour taste in my mouth. I don't mind reordering, and I will be if/when this is fixed, but as someone who frequently dances with disqualification, this looks to me like a stall tactic abusing a known issue that should've have been fixed immediately.
Tl;dr whine whine bitch bitch dnite should have 3 sdef for all practical purposes in this battle because of the egregious time spent by all parties in every round of this fight. Other (larger) errors have been begrudgingly accepted after particualrky long wait times in tourneys I've seen, and this seems no different to me (and NO it is not because of how it affects me in this fight. If I was reffing, this is how I would attempt to rule it.)
Tl;dr of Tl;dr I think we should use r3 Dragonite this fight.
I don't see why we wouldn't fix this, given that generally these mistakes only aren't fixed when they impact several rounds of the battle and this only impacted the previous round. And you haven't been any better with DQ than me on this battle so I don't see why that should mean we don't fix this. You could have easily reordered in the time it took you to type that post. Dragonite will now have 85 HP by my calculations. The fix should change some stuff but shouldn't be a huge reorder.
Also I will now hold a 48 Hour DQ on this battle because you're right I've been too close to DQ on it. If I go over 48 hours please DQ me.
Let's get this done.
EDIT: Also if you want to change Ice Beam to Blizzard or something along those lines in the previous round I'm fine with that
Yeah no, not about to waste time on a petty argument because of a STAT BASED ERROR.
9:43:48 PM <dogfish44> We've allowed errors to slide if they were several rounds back, and fixing them would be unfeasible, but that's about it. Like, I'd say "If I ordered Thunderbolt an the ref reffed it as Flamethrower, then I'd expect that to be rereffed."
Mowtom please reref this round using the R4 SpD instead of the R3 SpD. S0L1D G0LD you will reorder if desired after the fix. (P.S. don't expect precedent of errors sliding to carry weight here, especially then this error only impacts one round, which is the previous round) smashlloyd20 will follow up from there.
Mowtom will ref again, and then you guys will keep this battle moving.
BTW, a FYI: This battle is getting close to being close to an end, but not there yet. So I will give this a 2-week extension. If by then it doesn't have a obvious conclusion, I might extend by extra 2 weeks (that being the limit). I wouldn't want these stages of the tourney to be decided by guesses.
The "I will DQ you the second you pass 3 days" warning stays though.

"Could that round have gone better for Gold? Just how much do you think that freeze helped him?"
"Don't get me wrong, Blizzard freezing Dragonite A1 made a huge difference, but it might not be enough. Greninja still took two incredibly powerful super effective blows, and Swampert still has to deal with most of that Pyroak. Gold managed to avoid a game over, but isn't out of the woods yet."

First off, stop with the goddamed pessimistic commentary. I don't care about the outcome of the round, but providing flavor as the referee is supposed to be more 3-dimensional than " After a lucky roll I think x player will lose" or "Round 2 and y player is doing bad."
Second, take the +3 off of Bounce. There is no crit, and Greninja does not gain the damage bonus from Flying-STAB until a2.
Wrong, STAB bonus always applies to a Protean mon's attacks. You are thinking about the RC bonus associated with STAB, which is excluded because Greninja wasn't that type beforehand.

Stop arguing with someone's flavor. This has gotta be the 20395823059th time you've done that.
This entire battle has enough salt and bad mojo to kill a small african village. Most coming from you. Cut it off and do the bloody battle. If you don't like the flavor, then get yourself in a better position through actions, not but putting even more salt on this hateful battle.
I'll save the petty arguments for another time.
Cole @ Swampertite [Mega Evolved] takes the field once more.

If damaging Grass-Type combination, use Dive (Hold) that action and Dive (Release) on the following action.
If damaging Grass-Type attack outside of a combination and you are faster than Pyroak, use Dig on the first and third instances, and Dive on the second.
If Flame Charge and Pyroak is not behind a Substitute, use Mud-Slap that action.
FYI: the end of the extension I gave is 23th June. I am willing to, at most, let the round ongoing by the time it strikes end, but it won't go further than that.

"The Mega Swampert that Gold sent out to replace his fallen Greninja starts roaring and throwing rocks at its opponent from the x-, y-, z-, and w-axes. It looks like someone is determined to make sure that Pyroak can't move a muscle."
"The w-axis?"
"Yeah, the w-axis. For the fourth spatial dimension and all. Anyway, the Pyroak realizes that the Swampert forgot to cover the v-axis and seizes its chance, critically slowing the Swampert down and then barraging it with Grass moves."
"Is there any way this round could have been worse for Gold?"
"Yes, the crit could have been on a Grass move. Or even multiple moves. Hopefully my multi-dimensional flavor makes up for this bad round."

There's no way that I can win here after all of my misplays, and if there was I was too busy to find it, but I'm not going to go down easily. Well played, smashlloyd.
