No silly, not your own art, showcase artwork from artists you admire, and explain what makes them so good! For example, I love this artist called Bryan Saunders, who was also featured in The Guardian this weekend. He draws a portrait of himself every day, racking up to an admirable total of over 800 portraits altogether. His work is very obscure, yet very famous; what makes him so popular is his portraits he did whilst high. Yup, on drugs such as Marijuana, Crystal Meth, Cocaine, the whole work: cocaine (Move your mouse to reveal the content) cocaine (open) cocaine (close) crystal meth (Move your mouse to reveal the content) crystal meth (open) crystal meth (close) morphine (Move your mouse to reveal the content) morphine (open) morphine (close) I find this amazing, but it's obviously very controversial. Another artist I'm fond of is Jason De Graaf, who photographs: Actually no (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Actually no (open) Actually no (close) The detail which goes into making that painting look so realistic is just outstanding. The highlights, the textures, everything.
